Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 259 Creepy

One week quickly passed, and Ross’s life returned to normal. He spent his days going out with his girls, having fun, and savoring life to the fullest.

With immortality on his side, he felt no rush—everything would eventually fall into his hands effortlessly.

However, even when Ross kept to himself, choosing not to interfere with the world’s affairs, the world continued to move forward on its own.

And sometimes, in the most unexpected moments, the paths of fate would clash, pulling him back into the whirlwind of events he’d rather avoid.

”Wow! Who’s that guy? He’s so handsome!”

”I don’t know. I think he just transferred?”

”I’ve seen him in the library before, and all the girls were checking him out.”

The girls on campus were openly gossiping about the tall, handsome man walking toward the school canteen.

He was hard to miss—an imposing figure with blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and an extraordinarily attractive face that seemed to draw the gaze of everyone around him.

His presence was magnetic, and it wasn’t surprising that so many female students were talking about him.

His striking features and confident stride made it impossible not to notice him, and whispers followed him wherever he went.

Yet, despite the attention he was getting, the man’s focus wasn’t on any of the girls around him. Instead, he was absorbed in his cellphone, his brow slightly furrowed as he scrolled through messages.

He had just sent a simple ”Hi!” to a girl he had saw online, but there was still no reply.

This lack of response gnawed at him, even though he wasn’t used to it. He had always been the one who held the power in conversations.

Girls usually fell over themselves for a chance to talk to him, and his chats rarely went cold.

He was a man who knew the power of his image—his social media was filled with epic photos and videos showcasing his lavish lifestyle.

Expensive cars, luxury vacations, and exclusive parties were just a few of the highlights of his online persona.

It was all carefully curated to make sure that his life appeared as irresistible as his looks. And yet, this particular silence was bothering him more than he cared to admit.

But despite the nagging feeling, he wasn’t disheartened. In fact, it only fueled his desire for the challenge.

He thrived on the pursuit of the impossible, the idea of winning someone over who seemed just out of reach.

It was one of the reasons he had chosen to leave everything behind overseas and come here—to step out of his comfort zone, to conquer new territories, and to prove that no matter where he went, he could get what he wanted in the end.

The world was full of challenges, and he loved each one more than the last. This girl was just another challenge to conquer.

He walked around campus, searching for his target, and it didn’t take him long to spot her. She wasn’t alone, though—there was a stunning blonde girl sitting beside her—but that didn’t matter.

His eyes were locked on his target, and his approach was methodical. He walked to the library to grab a few books, making sure to position himself near the two girls.

After picking out a couple of titles, he casually walked toward them, keeping his focus on the girl he’d set his sights on.

”Is this seat taken?” he asked smoothly, his voice confident as he addressed his target.

The girl looked up at him, her expression giving away a flicker of curiosity. He could see it in her eyes—she thought he was handsome.

A smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and inside, he couldn’t help but grin. This was always the first step in his game of attraction, and he was used to it. He was confident she’d be his soon enough.

”No, you can sit there if you want,” she replied, before turning her attention back to the book in front of her. The other girl beside her, equally attractive, didn’t even spare him a glance.

He had expected the typical reaction—girls throwing themselves at him, eager to engage—but instead, he was met with indifference. For a moment, it threw him off guard.

He sat down, but a wave of surprise lingered.

Was his charm failing?

He glanced around, noting that the majority of the girls on campus still had their eyes on him, clearly acknowledging the tall, handsome, and rich guy in their midst.

He was still the same person who easily captured attention. So why wasn’t this girl reacting?

”...” he sighed inwardly, trying to appear engrossed in the book he was holding. He figured she was just playing hard to get, a challenge he was more than willing to take on.

So he settled in, pretending to study, waiting for her to break the silence.

Five minutes passed, and nothing. He peeked up, only to find the same beautiful girl still completely engrossed in her studies. No glances, no words, nothing.

She hadn’t even acknowledged him beyond the initial exchange. Disappointment settled in. He had expected some sort of reaction by now, but instead, he was being completely ignored.

He waited for five more minutes, but the silence was unbearable. Every second felt like an eternity, and he could feel the tension building in his chest.

His eyes kept flicking between the two girls, watching them immerse themselves in their books, unaware of his growing frustration.

Finally, unable to take it anymore, he looked up and broke the silence.

”Hi,” he said, his voice smooth and tinged without the slightest hint of impatience.

Sophia glanced up, a look of mild surprise flashing across her face before she raised an eyebrow, questioning his sudden attention.

”I don’t know how to say this, and I don’t mean to be creepy, but I just think you’re absolutely beautiful,” Derek said, his tone casual but sincere. He flashed a confident smile and extended his hand in a smooth motion.

”I’m Derek, by the way.”
