Eternal Thief

Chapter 1357  Mission Routes! (1)

While other members were still looking over the Abyss Mission Series details and deep thoughts, Ace looked at Eva and communicated with her through their connection.

”You didnʼt know all the details of the Abyss Mission series before, did you?” He asked, as he knew how the system worked.

Eva replied with a hint of resentment in her eyes, ”Yes, I was only supposed to give you general information about the Abyss of Wondering Souls during the house meeting, and only then will the true mission begin.

”Although I know that this mission will revolve around the Evernight Council. Ever since I entered the Abyss, my missions have been all about finding the most powerful force of the Abyss of Wandering Souls.

”Then, gathering information before finally infiltrating their ranks, whether through their branches or directly into their main headquarters. But now it seemed it was supposed to lead to this exact moment.

”No doubt, Iʼll reap the most rewards from these missions, but even with a single failure, everything will go down the drain.” Evaʼs eyes shimmered with determination, ”But no matter what, you must not select based on your feelings. You have just established your position as an equitable leader. You must listen to everyone and then decide. Whatever weʼll end up choosing, Iʼm okay with it!”

Ace became silent as he looked at Eva with a hint of surprise, it was just as Eva had said, he was really planning on going with the easiest option without any intention of explaining to the House Members.

But just as Eva said, if he really goes through with it, then he just forgets about ever establishing a proper order in the Thief House. Itʼll be divided into factions, and everyone will make choices like Noa without even discussing it with him first. Eventually, someone will end up dead.

Ace sighed before he looked at the other members, most of whom were done. Zaria seemed in a daze, as she was still having a hard time believing that the Eternal Abysses were real and that she had even gotten a chance to enter them. She was again shocked by Thief Houseʼs capabilities, and the more she learned about it, the more mysterious it became.

At this moment, Ace spoke loudly, ”Alright, everyone, I think you have all received the same introduction to the Abyss Mission Series, and itʼs all clear now how important this is to Eva.

”If we failed even once, all her progress she made in the said Abyss would be ruined, and she probably will have to descend to the next abyss to start over again or return to the Heavens, where sheʼll face numerous difficulties.

”But I canʼt deny that this is also an opportunity for all of us to explore the Abyss and earn some unique rewards. However, letʼs not be greedy and first analyze the Mission Routs and what theyʼll ensue.

”Iʼve already gotten the selection choices about the four routes and their overviews and even the house functions weʼll unlock by completing the Abyss Mission Series of these four routes.”

Ace then revealed the four routes, their overviews, how many members can participate with each difficulty, and the house function rewards. Although their individual rewards were hidden, Ace knew theyʼd be revealed either after they selected the mission route or theyʼd get at the end of the mission.

After hearing about the four routes and their overviews, Evaʼs eyes shimmered with a hint of realization while the other house members had their own thoughts.

At this moment, Alina speaks up first, ”I think we should cross the Abyss difficulty route from the get-go. This route will put against this ʼKing Council,ʼ and Iʼm pretty sure this King Council is hinting at those Abyssal Kings, meaning Ascension Kings! Right, Miss Abyssal Being?”

Eva looked at Alinaʼs subtle smile filled with confidence and slightly narrowed eyes, but she still smiled and nodded. ”Yes, I agreed with you, and by the way, congratulations on guessing something so obvious.” ”Stay on topic!” Ace glared at both as they were still taking jabs at each other despite his warnings and new order.

ʼAm not scary enough?ʼ Ace lamented.

But still, both women didnʼt retort any further, yet they were still glaring at each other as if they couldnʼt wait to take another jab at each other.

Zaria ignored Eva and Alinaʼs ʼbanterʼ and remained on the topic, ”Iʼm also in favor of ruling out this fourth route. Although I havenʼt seen an Ascension King personally, Iʼve heard that Ascension Kings are natural calamities.

”They can collapse spaces with a flick of their fingers, capable of traveling millions of miles with a single step, and most terrifying of all, they can literally alter the laws. Not even a half-step king can fight a true king and probably die within seconds.

”Although I donʼt know how much is true, Leader should know about the Vindictive Ridged Valley, right?” Zariaʼs expression was extremely solemn as she revealed, ”Falcon told me that the Vindictive Ridged Valley was actually formed by a full power law attack of an Ancient Ascension King!”

Aceʼs expression changed as disbelief was written all over his face as he knew too well about the Vindictive Ridged Valley. In fact, the Thiefʼs Houseʼs entrance was hidden in the Vindictive Ridged Valley at this moment. He shuddered, just imagining someone could form this ginormous valley with just a single law attack.

Since he never encountered any Ascension King, or they were simply too elusive, Ace never really felt any danger from them before.

However, now that he heard what an Ascension King can really do, he was alarmed because his avatar was in the true king sect with an Ascension King at the top. With the ʼtalentʼ he showed, he might as well already be under an Ascension Kingʼs surveillance without even knowing anything.

Just thinking about it sent chills running down his spine, and he sent warnings to his parallel mind sternly.

Ace then gravely said, ”Since thatʼs the case, we absolutely must not oppose the King Council. With our current prowess, we canʼt escape a true King!”

”Wait a moment, I think Leader is making a decision too soon!” Someone suddenly objected to Aceʼs decision, and it was none other than Eva!
