Eternal Thief

Chapter 1101 Born as Law State! (2)

The ethereal light around Alinaʼs body vanished as well as the shimmering marking on her skin started to fade away.

Thereafter, golden-silver Qi covered Alinaʼs body, and a silver dress materialized around her. Nonetheless, she was still extremely beautiful and didnʼt lose to Eva in any way.

At this moment, Alinaʼs silver eyes and Evaʼs pitch-black eyes with purple-red vertical pupils met, and the two invisible auras clashed together, causing the entire space around to start to shake.

Ace finally snapped out of his stupor, and his heart trembled when he felt their auras clashing. He had never sensed anything like this before, and he had a feeling that if he didnʼt stop them now, something untoward might transpire in the thiefʼs space, which was shaking for the first time since he had unlocked it.

Furthermore, Alinaʼs power wasnʼt suppressed anymore, and she didnʼt have any special connection with Ace like Eva or Cyrus. She seemed completely unrestrained.

At this moment, it finally struck Ace as his eyes winded, ʼShe can go against Eva! Didnʼt this mean sheʼs also a Law State cultivator?! And she even achieved it by changing into this mysterious bloodline that Sun and Mood God left! Just what kind of bloodline it is that can make an elemental state cultivator directly Law State?ʼ

Ace was flabbergasted and even envious of Alina, but he didnʼt have time to waste on these meaningless thoughts as the thiefʼs space was trembling even more violently as they both seemed to be increasing their powers, and the uneasy feeling in his heart grew.

”Stop, or you two will destroy this place!” Ace sternly declared.

Then he sighed helplessly when he saw the little guy, Cyrus, nowhere to be seen on Evaʼs shoulder. He fled into the edges of the thiefʼs space and hid within the tall grass while sneakily observing everything with a relish expression.

ʼHe hadnʼt matured at all…ʼ Ace thought with a wry smile, but he didnʼt have time to pay Cyrus any heed, as he knew the little guy was just running away from the point of disaster. He mightʼve done the same if he was in Cyrusʼs place.

”Hmph, she started it by badmouthing me behind my back!” Alina snorted with an icy expression, but she still retracted her aura, but her eyes never left Eva for a second.

”Youʼre giving yourself too much credit; I was just stating the fact. And whatʼs with those flashing lights? Are you trying to defeat me by blinding me?” Eva scoffed with an equally cold expression, but she also stopped using her aura.

Ace could only smile wryly when he heard their childish banter. For some reason, he found it quite amusing, but he didnʼt dare say it out loud.

”Alina, how are you feeling?” Ace gently asked, still a little worried about her since he didnʼt know about her new bloodline.

Furthermore, he knew sweeping her bloodline with a new one was quite dangerous, and it all depended on the will of the person. Since she had taken so many years, he didnʼt know just what kind of agony she must be suffering all this time.

Nonetheless, he could still tell that she was still the Little Sister he remembered, and her will wasnʼt affected by this bloodline sweep at all; in fact, she seemed more confident and determined.

Alina finally broke eye contact with Eva, and she looked up as the iciness in her eyes vanished, replaced by tenderness as if she could see Aceʼs face past this space.

A faint charming smile bloomed on her face as she replied gently, ”Iʼm feeling great. Again, thank you for giving me this opportunity!”

ʼTsk, two-face bitch!ʼ Eva cursed as she was extremely annoyed.

But she knew she wasnʼt in a position to ridicule Alina at all. In fact, she was in the same situation. Without Ace, she knew she wouldnʼt be able to go against Alina even before she had swept her bloodline. Her current advantage over Alina was all because of Aceʼs favor, and he had done it again in the Sky Abyss Secret Realm.

Furthermore, she knew she still needed Aceʼs help if she wanted to become a full-fledged Void Abyssal Devil, and truth be told, just now, because of their little exchange, Eva could tell that Alinaʼs bloodline was superior to hers!

If Alina had not just completed the process of her bloodline sweep and had not had the time to consolidate and familiarize herself with her new cultivation realm and prowess, Eva knew she mightʼve lost to her.

This was something she would never accept, so she had already secretly decided that if things came to it, then she would rather descend into the abyss than lose her position to Alina and then come back stronger!

Ace was clueless about Evaʼs dangerously extreme thoughts, or he wouldnʼt be paying attention to Alina right now.

”There is no need to thank me; it was something I should do, to begin with,” Ace replied in a jolly tone.

He was really happy right now since Alina had also succeeded in sweeping her bloodline, and he had also ascended to the next heaven. Everything was on track.

”Can I see you now?” Alina suddenly asked with great anticipation in her eyes.

However, before Ace could reply, Eva already beat him to it and sneered, ”Join the line, girl. If I can go outside, do you think it would be your turn to meet him? Heh, fat chance!”

Alinaʼs expression grew cold as she clearly understood the meaning behind Evaʼs jeering words, ”Whatʼs the problem? Are you in some kind of trouble? I can help you!”

Ace also felt awkward at this moment since he wanted to let Eva and Alina out, but he didnʼt know what would happen if he did. He was sure about Eva, though. He knew the moment she came out, she would trigger her tribulation, and he knew better than anyone that a ʼtribulationʼ comes with a huge fanfare.

Now there were also Alina and Cyrus. He wasnʼt sure about Alina, but he had a feeling that Cyrus might not trigger any tribulation because of his pack with him. Thatʼs why it was quite dangerous to let them out, at least until he could control his powers.

”Well, the thing is, we are indeed in a little bind, but itʼs not what youʼre thinking. Actually, we are no longer in the Mortal Sky Heaven; I have ascended into the higher heaven…!” Ace dropped a huge bomb on Alina!
