Eternal Thief

”System, I chose the Law of Space!”

The reason behind Ace’s decisive selection of the Space Law over the Sin and Fire Laws was that it wasn’t any weaker than the Fire or Sin Laws.

Moreover, since his inner world can be turned into a real world, something deep inside him made him feel he needed Space Law to further consolidate his foundation. Not to mention, it can grant him far more benefits currently, especially when it comes to his profession as a Thief!

’CRACK!’

The moment Ace chose the Space Law, right at that moment, a crack appeared in the center of the world.

Ace’s expression changed. ’Is this the World Core? No! It didn’t seem like a crack in the World Core, but a crack in the world’s original structure! It’s evolving!’

Ace immediately understood what was happening as he remained calm and focused on following the Architect of Thieving Heart Cultivation Technique.

According to the Architect of Thieving Heart Cultivation Technique, his Nascent Primordial World had reached the limit of its current form, and to advance further, it had to break its existing structure and rebuild it. But the process wasn’t destruction; instead, it was formation through destruction!

For an instant, nothing happened, and then...

’BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!’

The Nascent Primordial World violently trembled, and the darkness surrounding the world collapsed inward, while the vast celestial sky, endless lands, and chaotic seas of laws distorted as though an invisible hand had grabbed the entire world and twisted it.

Ace’s pupils contracted.

’This... is the Law of Space?!’ He could clearly feel it.

Unlike the other laws, Space did not descend into his world like a force from above, but it appeared everywhere. It was beneath the land, above the sky, between every particle of Primordial Spirit Qi, inside every strand of darkness, and even within the boundaries separating one law from another.

Space was not merely entering his world. It was revealing itself as the very distance between everything that already existed.

’SHRIIIIIIING!’

A profound spatial fluctuation spread through Ace’s Primordial World, and the endless darkness suddenly split apart before a thin, perfectly straight spatial fissure appeared across the sky, and then another appeared.

Within seconds, countless translucent spatial lines appeared throughout the world, crisscrossing the heavens and earth like an enormous invisible framework.

Ace stared in astonishment, ’So this is what Space does to a Nascent World! I was right!’

His Primordial Law Thief Sense instantly penetrated the changes.

Before this moment, his world had existed as a single enormous structure, possessing land, sky, laws, astral phenomena, destruction, creation, and darkness.

However, they were still fundamentally connected together through chaotic Primordial Spirit Qi. The world had shape, yet it didn’t possess a true structure. It was like a newly formed body whose bones had not yet been arranged.

But now, space was becoming its skeleton.

The spatial lines began extending as one became ten, ten became a thousand, and a thousand became millions. They spread throughout every corner of the Primordial World, gradually forming an incomparably profound spatial network.

Then the system’s voice sounded.

=====

[Fourth Auxiliary Law: Space has begun integrating with the Primordial World.]

[Spatial Law integration: 1%...10%...25%...]

[Warning: The Primordial World is undergoing structural reconstruction.]

=====

Ace’s breathing became heavier when he heard the system’s voice.

The transformation had only begun.

The first change occurred in the sky as the endless astral lights that previously floated chaotically across the darkness suddenly began moving. They didn’t merely drift, but they began following specific trajectories.

One star crossed another, another revolved around a distant point, and countless celestial bodies began establishing fixed distances from one another. The chaotic celestial phenomenon was slowly transforming into an actual astral system.

Ace’s eyes shimmered with astonishment. ’Space is giving the Astral Law an orbit, and even my law of orbit is becoming more powerful through it. So, space is connecting to everything!’

Previously, Astral Law had created the celestial phenomenon, but now Space gave those phenomena distance, position, direction, separation, movement, and finally structure.

The next moment, the astral lights began forming countless constellations, and the constellations slowly gathered into enormous celestial regions. The sky was no longer merely filled with stars, but it was becoming a true cosmic space.

At that moment, another transformation occurred. The Law of Creation erupted.

’BOOOOOOM!’

Golden radiance surged through the land. Previously, Creation had produced ethereal mountains, plains, rivers, and countless primitive structures within the Nascent World.

But now, Space separated them, and mountains were no longer merely manifestations of Creation Law as they occupied actual locations; rivers gained courses, plains gained boundaries, the oceans began spreading across vast distances, and continents started separating from one another.

The Primordial World was becoming larger without actually expanding as its internal space was becoming deeper, wider, and more profound.

A single step within the world could now represent thousands of miles, and a single mountain could occupy a region that had previously contained the entire world.

The concept of distance was being born, and with it, the concept of scale.

Ace’s expression gradually became solemn. ’So this is World Formation...’

He finally understood that World Formation wasn’t simply making the Nascent World look more realistic; it was establishing the fundamental rules that allowed the world to exist independently as a complete structure.

The World Seed had been the potential, while the Nascent World had been the manifestation, but the World Formation Realm was the beginning of turning that manifestation into an actual world system.

Suddenly...

’RUMBLEEEEEEEEE!!’

A terrifying wave of darkness erupted from the center of the world, and Ace’s eyes widened.

The Prime Law of Darkness reacted as the endless spatial framework was immediately covered in pitch-black darkness. But instead of devouring Space, Darkness merged with it, and the two began intertwining.

Wherever darkness passed, space became deeper, and wherever space expanded, darkness followed.

The result was strange, as there were now regions of darkness that were not simply dark, but deep, and their depths seemed endless. Even Ace couldn’t see their true bottom through his Primordial Law Sense.

’Darkness is transforming Space itself...’

Ace’s eyes narrowed, and then he suddenly sensed something even more profound.

It turned out Space wasn’t resisting Darkness; it was being defined by it as his Prime Law began to influence his Auxiliary Law.

This was fundamentally different from simply placing two laws inside the same world. The laws were beginning to form a hierarchy.

Darkness remained the foundation, but Space became one of the principles through which Darkness expressed itself, and this was only the beginning.

’BOOOOOOOOOOM!’

The Law of Creation erupted again, and this time, golden light entered the spatial framework as Creation began filling the empty distances. Where Space established separation, Creation established existence, and where Space created boundaries, Creation filled those boundaries with substance.

The two laws intertwined with Darkness, and a strange trinity emerged. Darkness, Space, Creation-the three laws began constructing the foundational structure of the Primordial World.

But then, a fourth force descended.

’BOOOOOOM!’

A terrifying gray-black aura of destruction surged across the heavens; it was the Law of Destruction. But it didn’t destroy the world; instead, it began carving away the unstable portions of the world, silently erasing every chaotic spatial fluctuation, malformed landmass, unstable law fragment, incomplete structure, and everything that couldn’t withstand the world’s foundation.

Ace’s eyes widened as a profound realization dawned on him: ’Destruction is stabilizing the world by destroying instability. So that’s how it is: creation creates, space structures, darkness establishes the fundamental nature, and finally destruction removes everything that couldn’t belong...’

For the first time, Ace understood why these laws had such terrifying compatibility with one another: they weren’t simply powerful individually; they complemented one another at the level of world formation.

But then, a crimson-black flame appeared, which shocked Ace, as this was completely unexpected...

’WHOOSH!’

The newly evolved Demonic Black Spirit Fire emerged within the Primordial World, but it didn’t merely burn; the moment it entered the world, its faint spiritual consciousness stirred, and the countless crimson strands within the black flames spread outward!
