Essence Devouring Art

”Begin charging!”

Star Mother strictly carried out Wu Dao’s every command, mobilizing the power of the Extreme Dao Bell.

She continuously applied magnetic pressure within the sealed domain, tearing apart the magnetic forces binding the basic magnetic particle structures.

CLANG CLANG CLANG—BOOM!

The sound of snapping Divine Iron boomed continuously throughout the Magnetic Field.

Once the forces between the basic Primordial Magnetic Particles collapsed, the terrifying Primordial Magnetic Power that was released frantically battered the sealed domain.

Within moments, the released Primordial Magnetic Energy could have annihilated a perfect Great Thousand World and a cosmic structure spanning countless light-years.

To put it into perspective,

when Wu Dao had first achieved Great Saint’s Battle Power,

the number of his Primordial Magnetic Crystal Particles had reached ten to the ninetieth power, a quantity that transcended the total number of particles in the known universe of his past life.

And!

Each Primordial Magnetic Crystal Particle,

could, in turn, rotate and release a Magnetic Field on the scale of a Small Thousand World—that is, Three Thousand Worlds!

With a single thought,

he could have effortlessly annihilated the ninety-billion-plus-light-year universe of his past life!

Now!

At his Saint Master Perfect Battle Power!

Each Primordial Magnetic Crystal Particle was on the scale of a perfect Middle Thousand World, its quantity, Energy, and microscopic structure having undergone thirty-three qualitative transformations!

The increase in Magnetic Field energy

was not as simple as three thousand multiplied by three thousand. To say it had increased by a hundred-million-fold over its original foundation would not even begin to describe a fraction of the growth!

One can only imagine

how difficult it was to tear apart the microscopic structure of his current Primordial Magnetic Crystal Particles, and how terrifying the Energy released upon severing those magnetic forces would be!

This was not fission or fusion.

What he needed was to start from the Primordial Creator Domain and construct a completely new, more powerful form of life!

His original form,

no matter what kind of Magnetic Field structure his magnetic particles took, was merely an alteration of its existing foundation. It could never achieve a true qualitative transformation!

CLANG CLANG CLANG—

BOOM BOOM BOOM—

It was like a Celestial God forging Divine Iron!

With each deeper layer he penetrated into the microscopic domain, the torrent of Energy unleashed by severing the Primordial Magnetic forces grew ever more terrifying!

However, even without being fully awakened, the fundamental Power mobilized by the Extreme Dao Bell was still vast and infinite. No matter how it was assaulted, the sealed domain remained as firm as a Divine Wall, unmoving in the slightest!

”Father God, we have reached the critical point!”

A few moments later, Star Mother’s tense voice rang out with a warning.

”Break!”

Though his consciousness was rapidly collapsing along with the disintegration of the microscopic domain of his Essence, Qi, and Spirit, it remained tenaciously unyielding. Maintaining his calm, he gave the resolute command!

”Yes!”

SNAP—BANG!!

A sound like a Dao Vein of the Great Dao being stretched taut to the breaking point exploded, echoing like a peal of chaotic thunder through the primordial sea of the Extreme Dao Bell’s universe!

The final microscopic structure crumbled!

Within the sealed domain!

All that remained were countless string-like and point-like particles—infinitely small, indivisible Primordial Dao Particles, the origin point of all Extraordinary miracles!

BOOM!

And in that instant!

It was as if some great taboo had been violated!

It drew forth an indescribable punishment!

Wu Dao’s unyielding consciousness was brutally smashed, as if by the piled-up mass of innumerable universes. It instantly disintegrated, leaving behind only a firefly’s glimmer that plummeted into infinite darkness!

RUMBLE—

Simultaneously,

throughout the All Heavens and Myriad Realms, across infinite space and time,

the Nine Heavens Divine Thunder roared. It was like the wrath of the Great Dao, startling countless ancient existences and numerous Primordial Giants.

’Again?’

’Who in the world is stealing the Dao?’

’The Great Dao must not be altered! Find him! We must find him!’

More than twenty years ago, and again a few years ago, the same wrath of the Great Dao had appeared!

Its reappearance caused many beings, whose very scale was comparable to the structure of the Great Dao itself, to pale in horror. They frantically began to scry, trying to locate this audacious Dao-thief.

’To steal the Dao without first achieving a scale comparable to the Dao itself...’

「In the Supreme Mysterious Heaven.」

An unfathomable existence, one that was fused with the Great Dao itself, muttered to itself. A hint of coldness surfaced in its eternally indifferent eyes.

’The first time was inconceivable.’

’The second was a fluke.’

’But now, a third time!’

’If I let this continue...’

”Just because I can’t find you, doesn’t mean I have no way to deal with you.”

The ethereal voice faded.

The highest reaches of the Profound Celestial were empty.

...

「Inside the Extreme Dao Bell.」

”Suppress!”

The instant Wu Dao’s consciousness plummeted into darkness and she lost contact, Star Mother did not panic like a human would. She immediately mobilized the Extreme Dao Bell’s field to lock down the Primordial Dao Particles, slowing their assimilation back into the Great Dao.

A moment ago, she had sensed an indescribable, supreme Magnetic Field bearing down on Wu Dao, casting his consciousness into the endless dark.

’The backlash of the Great Dao!’

’To devour the Dao to empower oneself, to become a Great Dao of one’s own.’

’This was an act of defying the heavens to begin with.’

’And Wu Dao had done so repeatedly.’

’The Primordial Path, which maintains the normal operation of the system, would naturally not allow such a foreign parasite to continue existing within it.’

’What awaited Father God...’

’...would likely be an unimaginable Great Tribulation!’

However, she had not yet gone out of control.

This was proof enough that Father God was not yet dead.

’Before Father God returns,’

’I must protect these Primordial Dao Particles of the Primordial Magnetic Dao and prevent their assimilation. They will serve as the anchor for Father God’s return!’

...

The Chaos was void, empty and desolate.

It was as if nothing had yet begun.

After his consciousness fell into darkness, Wu Dao arrived in the primordial domain of Chaos that existed before the All Heavens were forged—a place with no Dao, no laws, and no myriad things!

His consciousness drifted aimlessly.

An unknown amount of time passed within this Chaos, a place with no concept of time or space.

Like a guttering candle in the wind,

it seemed it could be snuffed out at any moment, yet it remained impossibly, tenaciously unyielding.

’This is... the Initial Tribulation?’

At a certain moment,

Wu Dao’s consciousness struggled free from its state of simple self-preservation and transitioned into self-awareness, finally comprehending the domain in which he now existed.

’The Hongyuan Initial Tribulation, when Chaos was not yet divided!’

’The birth of the Great Dao, the beginning of the Innate Gods!’

’Have I traveled back through the ages of All Tribulations?’

’No, that’s not right!’

Wu Dao rejected the thought.

He was creating the Primordial Magnetic Dao.

He was stealing the Dao, not following the path of Cultivation.

In other words, this current state of Chaos and Initial Tribulation...

...was the crucial transformative stage for the true birth of the Primordial Magnetism Path, the necessary path to becoming a self-contained Great Dao, the moment of creation ex nihilo!
