Emperor’s Domination

As Li Qiye was leaving, the old man called him back and said: “There’s another brat related to you.”

“Which one?” Li Qiye asked.

“He is obsessed with the sword and has quite an amazing one, among the top five of all treasures I’ve seen.” He said.

Given his knowledge and age, his comment spoke plenty of the blade. ᴛhis chapter is ᴜpdated by NoveIꜰire.net

“Is anything wrong?” Li Qiye frowned slightly.

“He is in Heaven Assault Alliance.” He said.

“I see.” Li Qiye’s expression became curious.

“After all, those from your world have always been in high demand. Heaven Assault most likely valued him, a potential sword immortal.” He said: “I could tell he was a recluse and didn’t know many people in Heavenrealm. No one had a clue.”

“Looks like you’ve been paying attention.” Li Qiye said with a smile.

“What do you want to know?” His heart skipped a beat after seeing the smile.

“What would I possibly need to know from you or rather, what is it that you need to tell me?” Li Qiye responded.

“Hmm…” He pondered: “After Mang died, Devouring Alliance suffered heavy casualties in Heaven Pit just like Heaven Essence Alliance. From my estimation, they still have two primordial immortals left, one is an acquaintance of yours.”

“An acquaintance?” Li Qiye seemed amused.

“Gu Chun.” He said: “An impressive pioneer with incredible potential after being polished in your world. Although those born in Heavenrealm have an easier time reaching the immortal realm, they still have a hard time competing.”

“All that polishing, not enough to change an unwavering dao heart.” Li Qiye said.

“Everyone has a different goal, they do not agree with your style.” He shook his head: “If I had been a bit younger, I wouldn’t have agreed to our deal.”

“It’s a good thing you didn’t miss out on the most profitable deal in your life.” Li Qiye said.

“The higher one climbs, the more one believes.” He sighed: “Becoming an immortal here is too easy so they scoffed and dismissed your belief.”

“Any other news?” Li Qiye asked.

“That place became restless and dragged up some land from your world, risking heavenly tribulations. I did not know the exact reason and details, just one thing, there was a survivor.” He said.

“Who is it?” Li Qiye asked.

“That’s for you to uncover.” He said: “And I’m sure you are already aware of this, I don’t need to spell it out.”

“You still have more valuable information.” Li Qiye said.

“What do you want to know?” He asked.

“I’m waiting for you to tell me.” Li Qiye smiled.

After a brief silence, he said: “You want to know about Hidden Immortal.”

“Indeed.” Li Qiye said.

“Then I have nothing for you.” He sighed.

“I believe when someone needs to make a deal for resources, your enterprise is the best.” Li Qiye said.

“Someone did come but I cannot say with confidence that it was Hidden Immortal, the person was mysterious and prudent.” He said.

“For which resources?” Li Qiye asked.

“Some were brought to Divine Firmament. Of course, I’m just speculating, and another part was taken to World of the Living.” He said.

“World of the Living.” Li Qiye uttered the old name of the world now known as Ruin.

“I know what you are thinking.” He said: “Heaven Essence Alliance only showed itself during Heaven Pit. The battle didn’t only take place in Ruin because of Heavenfall and Dusk. I believe Ruin was Heaven Essence’s home ground.”

“So Immortal Hunt and Heaven Essence teamed up long ago?” Li Qiye smiled.

“Definitely since the start of Heaven Pit. Otherwise, why did that place suddenly go crazy and pull your nine worlds’ regions up?” He said.

“Interesting.” Li Qiye stroked his chin.

“Thus, solving this secret requires more than a trip to Divine Firmament. You must go to Ruin as well.” He said.

“And that’s all you know?” Li Qiye smirked.

“Yes. I’m a businessman so if there is nothing of relevance, I’m not going to go out of my way seeking information.” He said: “Moreover, even Mang didn’t know who Hidden Immortal was. Dusk and Heavenfall lost patience during the battle but I’m not sure if Hidden Immortal ever joined.”

“I wonder what this person’s goal is.” Li Qiye smiled.

“At the very least, not total destruction. In my opinion, this Hidden Immortal is better than madmen such as Mang and Genesis.” He said.

“Oh? Elaborate.” Li Qiye said.

“Both Mang and Genesis believed in their greatness and magnificent goals, blinded by them. Hidden Immortal, on the other hand, composed and astute.” He said.

“Don’t be so sure, the most composed might be the most insane.” Li Qiye said.

“Then what would the most insane cultivator be after?” He asked.

“Who knows? You immortals can’t be judged by logic.” Li Qiye said.

“You’re one of us now.” He said.

“I was a mortal, only mortals can truly look at this world as it is while those born as immortals are all lunatics. Perhaps not at the start, but in the end, they will end up mad.” Li Qiye said.

“Now that’s a bit harsh, I’m not insane, more or less.” He smiled.

“Not completely insane.” Li Qiye said.

“Fine, then this half-insane lunatic will try his best not to go completely insane.” He wasn’t offended: “Is there anything else you want to know?”

“Heavenly Whale.” Li Qiye said.

“You’re asking all the hardest secrets in Heavenrealm.” He shook his head: “Probably showed up once in Stygian, but to do what? I did not know. Go to Stygian and perhaps there are some clues there, or maybe not. These existences got to their level by being careful.”

“Careful or not, this world won’t spare them in this generation.” Li Qiye said.

“Indeed.” He sighed: “If I didn’t have that deal with you, maybe I wouldn’t be spared either.”

Li Qiye smiled and left.
