Emperor’s Domination

The coffin’s shadow gave every living being the illusion that all life and death originated from it.

“Death Coffin!” Bao Pu’s expression darkened as he spoke: “One of the legendary Nine Heavenly Treasures.”

This name was utterly unfamiliar to most, just like the so-called nine treasures. Bao Pu, on the other hand, understood what these Nine Heavenly Treasures signified. He imagined if he had it in his possession.

He had heard that the Nine Heavenly Treasures devour primordial chaos and that upon becoming a primordial immortal, one wouldn’t need to seek them. However, it was perfect for a broken immortal such as himself. A covetous gleam flicked in his eyes.

Meanwhile, the coffin instilled an absurd feeling into everyone. Life and death were the same, just contrasting forms of material existence encompassing everything. Its weight was immense as it pushed the ghost back.

“How is this possible?” Everyone was shocked.

“People say the lord is in charge of life and death but this guardian is death, she’s wielding it.” Bao Pu said.

She was a magical entity; her power was not her own but the lord used Death Coffin to shift death into her. Thus, the ghost was facing the power of his destined death.

“Activate!” He didn’t fear it due to his rich experience and targeted himself with his Luminous Origination.

His ignited desires turned into an endless will to survive.

“Rumble!” It surged and burned everything near to cinder, protecting him from death.

No one expected his special move to be usable on himself, not just the enemies. Bao Pu himself was impressed by his brilliant talent and mastery of such a dangerous technique.

At the same time, an ocean of lightning formed in the special area above the heaven. It twirled slowly, forming a maelstrom.

“Ocean” in this sense was literal since it was filled with a golden liquid, the best conductor for lightning. It could channel as many from above as possible, even the strongest ones.

Bao Pu thought avoiding this punishment was impossible. All of it would eventually hit the mark – Lord of Life and Death.

“The tribulation is here, please excuse me.” The lord spoke.

A figure deep in space surged upward to meet the maelstrom.

“There she is!” All eyes were on her.

Many became surprised at her appearance. They assumed she would pulse with immortal energy and the essences of life and death. Just a single strand could cause quakes in Three Immortals.

Sure, she was beautiful like a work of art. However, a childlike innocence could be seen at first glance. Her kindness and purity exceeded her appearance. They came from the heart, capable of affecting immortals.

“Lord of Life and Death.” They couldn’t help but blurt her title in admiration.

“Such kindness, she should be in charge of life and death.” Bao Pu remarked, appreciating her existence despite being a fallen immortal.

Such an existence should be around for the world’s sake.
