Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Return to Blue StarTwo hours passed quickly. After Lin Feng dealt with the items on the Exchange, he passed through the light curtain and left the Elevator.

The next second, Lin Feng appeared in a restroom.

Loud, boisterous music drifted in from outside.

”A bar?”

Lin Feng listened to the revelry outside, then walked out of the restroom. He felt a bit dazed watching the men and women partying wildly on the dance floor.

However, he still didn’t particularly like this kind of environment, so he turned and left.

Yet, as soon as he stepped out, he bumped into a drunkard.

”Come here! Damn it, you slut!”

The drunkard held a bottle in one hand and pulled out a few US dollars with the other, clearly still thinking this was a bar hostess trying to curry favor with him.

The drunkard looked at Lin Feng blearily, then reached out to grope him.

The result was predictable; the next second, the drunkard was kicked several meters away.

Lin Feng’s kick also directly sobered him up.

Almost being molested right after returning to Blue Star, and by a grown man at that, was truly bad luck. Lin Feng respecting the law was the only reason he hadn’t kicked him to death.

”Damn it! You dare hit me! What are you two still looking at! Get him!”

The drunkard clutched his stomach, stood up, and shouted at the two security guards by the bar’s entrance.

Clearly, this drunkard had some connection to the bar, and the two security guards immediately moved towards Lin Feng.

Seeing this, Lin Feng sneered, looking at the two security guards as if they were dead men.

The two security guards, under Lin Feng’s gaze, couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat.

They felt as if they were facing a ruthless executioner.

Their steps towards Lin Feng were forced to halt.

”Scram.”

Lin Feng looked at the two security guards, who were stunned by him, and calmly uttered a single word.

The two security guards immediately scrambled back into the bar.

”Bastard! Useless! Slut! Fuck!”

Seeing the security guards run away, the drunkard cursed a few times. Noticing Lin Feng approaching him, he quickly shuffled backward.

”M-my brother is a high-ranking member of the Motorcycle Gang, y-you, what do you want to do!”

The drunkard looked at the murderous Lin Feng with a face full of terror, his drunkenness instantly gone.

He had thought Lin Feng would be afraid after he threw out the name of the Motorcycle Gang, but to his surprise, Lin Feng didn’t say a word and continued to approach him.

Lin Feng indicated that he had never even heard of something called the Motorcycle Gang.

”Don’t be nervous, I won’t kill you.”

Lin Feng smiled slightly, then single-handedly lifted the drunkard and dragged him into a dark corner.

”W-what are you going to do?”

Thud!

With a muffled thud, the drunkard instantly lost consciousness and fainted.

Lin Feng then emptied his wallet and left him there.

Not far from this bar were some bonfires, a gathering place for vagrants and addicts.

They often came to nearby bars to ”pick up bodies”; of course, they wouldn’t mind men either, he believed.

”This guy’s quite rich, huh.”

Lin Feng felt the thickness of the US dollars in his pocket and smiled. It should be around four or five thousand.

Now he needed to go to a weapon store to buy a self-defense weapon. This was Lighthouse Country, a place where firearms were legal. Even if Lin Feng’s martial arts were superb, facing firearms meant his life would be given away for nothing.

Lin Feng remembered that his last return to the Elevator was from this bar, so that’s why he appeared here?

He took out his phone and checked the time: 11 PM.

There were hardly any cars on the street anymore.

But Lin Feng was lucky and quickly hailed a taxi.

”To the nearest gun store.”

”Okay, please fasten your seatbelt.”

.....

Soon, Lin Feng arrived at his destination.

After paying the fare, Lin Feng walked into the weapon store.

Inside sat a middle-aged man wearing a bulletproof vest.

”Hey, brother, what do you need?”

The boss said very enthusiastically.

”Hello, I’d like to buy a pistol.”

”How about this one? A 1911, a very good pistol.”

Lin Feng looked at it, found no issues, and was ready to buy it.

However, he only had temporary residency identification, so he couldn’t buy a gun through regular channels. But as the saying goes, money makes the world go round.

The price of this gun was 300 US dollars. Lin Feng directly took out one thousand US dollars and explained his difficulty.

The boss was also very understanding, rummaging through another box to find an identical gun.

This kind of gun was black market goods.

Although the price was about twenty percent higher than regular weapons, anyone could buy it as long as they had money, regardless of who they were.

Seeing Lin Feng’s generosity, the boss also gave him some bullets and a suppressor.

After buying his self-defense weapon, Lin Feng left the gun store.

Now, he should find a hotel with internet to stay in, preferably one that could provide a computer.

Hotel check-in also required identification, but a temporary residence permit was sufficient.

Lin Feng stayed at a three-star hotel. The cost was four hundred US dollars a day. Lin Feng added some money to have the hotel provide him with an office laptop.

After receiving the computer, Lin Feng browsed some short video platforms and tweets on Little Blue Bird.

The news on the Little Blue Bird platform was very well-informed and basically unrestricted.

Soon, Lin Feng learned of a major news item.

Just a few days ago, Mao Xiong Country had an armed conflict with his brother. The information displayed on this matter was not extensive, as the incident had just begun.

Lin Feng, however, connected it to the Gold-Stealing Floor he had experienced, where most of the text he saw in that world was Russian.

It was also a war-torn place; could it be related to this?

Lin Feng scratched his head, then continued to check.

Scrolling down, a short video caught Lin Feng’s interest.

”[Xia Country unearths a large number of Stone Age artifacts, confirmed to include bows, iron swords, and statues resembling rifles.]”

The comment section of this video was also very interesting.

”[Facts prove that humans invented firearms in the Stone Age.]”

”[So, has human technology really suffered a discontinuity?]”

”[The statue might be an imagination of primitive people, but I didn’t expect bows and iron swords to exist in the Stone Age.]”

”[According to expert analysis, this stone statue should be the totem of this tribe. This gun-like shape should be due to wear and tear over a very long time, and it might not have looked like this originally, so it can be said to be quite a coincidence.]”

”[So, how do you explain some bullet casings dug up at the site, and they are made of copper?]”

”[The base of this statue is carved with flames, what does it represent? The God of Fire?]”

”[Upstairs, I think it’s very possible. After all, primitive people worshipped natural phenomena more, and fire changed their lives, so worshipping the God of Fire is very possible.]”

.......

Didn’t expect it to be realized so quickly?

Lin Feng rubbed his chin, somewhat surprised.
