Chapter 597 Chapter 597:- Fairness

When Night came, Aditya allowed Lilith to join. Sasha was too embarrassed to join. So she decided to sleep with Lara. Lara was confused about what her husband and her sister were going to do together but she did not ask any questions.

Compared to how close Lara was to Alicia, Julia, and Riya, she wasnʼt that close to Sasha. It wasnʼt that Sasha was cold to her. But it was that Sasha wasnʼt the talkative type. However, there is no denying that Sasha always treats Lara with kindness and respect.

”Sister Sasha, do you have any idea what Husband and other sisters are going to do together? Lara also wants to join them.” Lara instinctively felt that she was missing out on something very important.

She wasnʼt stupid. She could see the changes within sister Riya. She could see how tired Riya, Sasha, Alicia, and Julia were this morning. All these things made her feel that she was missing out on something very important.

Sasha looked at Lara. She could see that Lara was looking a little bit disappointed and unhappy.

Among everyone, Lara was the youngest of Adityaʼs wives. Hence, everyone doted on her and loved as her as their little sister. Seeing her sad was one of the least things that everyone wanted.

Even Aditya gave special attention and care to Lara. He made sure to spend a lot of time with her every single day. Even today while everyone was sleeping, Aditya spent a few hours having intimacy with Lara. He didnʼt want Lara to think that he was leaving her out.

In the darkness, Sasha stared at Laraʼs face for a few seconds before she replied. ”Actually, Aditya and others are making b...ab...ba.....babi.....babies.” Although Sasha wanted to be honest with Lara she found it really embarrassing to say the last part of her sentence. She was also blushing.

”Babies......!!!!” Hearing this Laraʼs eyes brightened. No wonder why her sisters looked so tired this morning.

Suddenly Lara excitedly moved the blanket and sat up. ”Making babies........!!!! Lara wants a baby as well......!!!” Seeing Lara walking towards the door, Sasha hurriedly got up, she grabbed her hand, and stopped her from leaving the room.

”Wait.....!!!” Sasha was blushing a lot. Deep down in her heart, she wondered how Lara who is really shy and innocent could be this bold. Even Sasha wasnʼt this bold when it came to this kind of thing despite being the Succubus Empress.

”Why?” Lara tilted her head and asked in confusion.

”Mother Empress said that Lara must give birth to her husbandʼs children as soon as possible. Lara wants to give birth to Husbandʼs children and raise them.” Unlike Sister Julia, Sister Alicia, Sister Riya, and Sister Sasha, Lara had nothing much to do. Other than reading some books at the library, she was always free.

If she had a baby, then she could use all that free time in raising her husbandʼs children. Just thinking about this made her feel really excited and her heart was feeling really restless from excitement. She wanted to find Aditya right now and have a baby with him.

The reason Laraʼs mom said this was because her father had a lot of concubines and wives. So there was a strong competition among the concubines and the wives on who could get pregnant and give birth to the emperorʼs children.

This is the reason Laraʼs mother taught her to have her husbandʼs children as soon as possible.

Hearing Lara innocently saying these words, Sasha was left speechless. In a way, she could somewhat understand why Laraʼs mother must have said these words. After all, being able to give birth to the Emperorʼs children would give them a special rank among the Hierarchy of all the concubines and the wives of the Empire.

In the olden times, the concubine who could give birth to an heir first was officially made the nobleʼs wife. Not to mention, giving birth to the emperorʼs children ensures a lifetime of wealth, power, and status.

ʼUnfortunately, I donʼt think Lara could even withstand Aditya given how weak she currently is.ʼ Sasha thought in her mind.

Sasha knew that she had to stop this girl. The problem was Sasha wasnʼt good with words.

Taking a deep breath, Sasha made Lara sit on the edge of the bed. ”Listen, Lara, youʼre too young to have babies.”

However, upon hearing this Lara was confused once again. ”But why? Mother Empress gave birth to Laraʼs big sister when she was just 15 years old.” Lara was 16 years old. Although she knew that her body was weak, she still felt that she could give birth to Adityaʼs baby.

Sasha didnʼt know what to say hearing her words. Giving birth at the age of 15 used to be a common thing back in the day but now things donʼt work that way more.

Though there are some certain noble families who could get married at the age of 15 and by the age of 16, the wife would be forced to give birth. But these so-called traditional families mostly belonged to the Westnia. As such practices were long abandoned from other continents of this world.

”Lara, right now youʼre body is too weak. Even if you can get pregnant while giving birth, your body wouldnʼt be able to endure it and you might......!!!!” Sasha didnʼt need to say the rest. Lara understood what she was saying.

ʼGiven how much that jerk seems to love every one of us, I doubt he will keep his sanity if anything happens to one of us. He might go berserk.ʼ Sasha thought in her mind. At first, Sasha thought that Aditya didnʼt love everyone equally but she was damn wrong.

He was really serious about every single one of them. Regardless of their status, he treated them equally and loved them equally. If Aditya brought candy for Lara, regardless of whether others were going to eat candy or not, he was going to buy 5 more candies. He was serious about being equal and fair to everyone.

Normally an Emperor would have one Empress. And the Empress would be someone who would be the princess of a powerful Empire. Although the emperor would have other wives, they were going to be given the status of concubines.

Concubines cannot enjoy the status and the power that the Empress enjoys. The rank of the Concubine was simply lower than the Empress. In fact, in some Empires, concubines arenʼt even allowed to give in Royal Castle. Concubines are forced to live in separate Castles. Concubines do not get any marriage ceremonies. The children of the Concubines are not given the same opportunities that the children of the Empress would enjoy.

The disparity between an Empress and a Concubine was just too much.

Monarchies often follow strict traditions and precedents. The concept of a single empress has been the norm for centuries in most cultures, and deviation from this tradition would be unusual and potentially controversial.

The presence of a single empress often helps clarify the line of succession. When there is only one empress, it is easier to determine which offspring is the legitimate heir to the throne. Multiple empresses could create confusion and conflict over succession.

In most monarchies, the title of Empress is not just a marital status but also a position of power and influence. Having multiple empresses could lead to power struggles both between the empresses themselves and within the court. This could destabilize the political structure of the empire.

However, from the beginning, Aditya has made his intentions clear. He was going to make all of them his Empresses. All of them were going to receive the same status.

Sasha didnʼt think there would be ever any power struggles between them. The reason why Sasha was so sure is because of how close and united everyone was. Regardless of background and status, all of Adityaʼs fiance would be treated the same.

Aditya didnʼt really care about traditions. As for the problem of succession, Aditya didnʼt think there was going to be any problem with that.

”Lara understands but Lara really wants to do this.....” Lara looked really reluctant. Despite knowing how dangerous this would be for her, she wanted to do this.

Sasha pulled Lara into a hug. While patting her hair, Sasha spoke in a very gentle and comforting tone. ”Lara, first we will cure your mysterious illness, and then you can worry about all these things.”

”Sister Sasha is right.” Seeing Lara calming down, Sasha sighed in relief.

”Letʼs go to sleep.”

The next two days, they spent traveling through the desert. By then everyone was pretty much bored having nothing else to do. But one thing that everyone noticed was the relationship between Sasha and Lara had gotten a lot closer. This made everyone wonder what could have happened between them.

While everyone night everyone had fun, Sasha and Lara slept together.

On the third day, they finally reached their destination.
