Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Takin Administrator stared at the screen, his expression grim.

”So, this isn’t a joke? Are you sure?”

”I’m very sure, sir.”

The soldier at the console quickly replied.

”They’ve infiltrated our systems, claiming to be a force from another star system wanting to meet us through regular diplomatic channels... We scanned their code, and I can confirm it’s indeed a completely different framework from ours. We can’t even break their encryption system.”

”.......”

Hearing his subordinate’s response, Takin clasped his hands behind his back, a pensive expression flickering on his elongated face, then turned his head to look at a man clad in black armor and a black cape next to him.

”Wade, what do you think?”

”Huuuh... haaah...”

Upon Takin’s inquiry, the man in black armor took several breaths, then spoke in a low voice.

”I can sense a powerful force.”

”Force?”

”Indeed, like fire, like a storm — a force unheard of.”

”Are you sure they aren’t Jedi?”

”No, the Jedi Order couldn’t possibly possess such power.”

”Alright.”

Hearing this, the Takin Administrator thought for a moment, then nodded.

”Then I’ll have you greet our guests... Well, guests from another star system. This is certainly rare, and I wonder what brings them here?”

”Sir, report — there’s unusual spatial fluctuation on radar!”

However, before Takin Administrator’s words could fall, suddenly a golden light flashed before his eyes, followed by the sudden appearance of three remarkably ornate warships, interwoven with white and gold, silently emerging from infinite void and hovering right in front of them.

”It seems there really is something different here.”

Looking at the warships before his eyes, Takin squinted. As an administrator of the Galactic Empire, his skills were naturally not lacking. Just from the appearance of these warships, Takin could tell they were definitely not manufactured based on the Galactic Empire’s technological level. In fact, it wasn’t just Takin; all the Imperial soldiers who saw this scene were exclaiming in surprise.

If the Galactic Empire’s warships emphasized grandeur and stability, then these warships were clearly following a path of noble elegance. This was not the mere whimsy of some eccentric billionaire’s retrofit — it was evidently the product of a technological route entirely different from their own.

At this moment, the screen suddenly flickered, followed by the soldier’s voice once again.

”We’ve received a transmission signal from the opposing warship.”

”Open it.”

”Yes.”

Soon, the screen flicked, and everyone saw a young man with black hair and black eyes, dressed in a black trench coat, appearing before them.

”Hello, members of the Galactic Empire.”

The man spoke softly, his voice seemingly possessing some mysterious magic, making those who heard it inexplicably feel a particular sense of fear.

”I sincerely apologize for making contact in this manner. I just wanted to make it clear that we mean no harm. Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Fang Zheng, from the Heavenly Dao Palace. This time we arrived in your star system... well, quite by accident. To be honest, we did not expect to find such a stable civilization in this star system. Therefore, we made a special visit.”

Frankly speaking, these words didn’t sound very pleasant, even carrying a sense of lofty arrogance. However, none seemed to find this problematic, and Takin Administrator, as the leader, also adjusted his attire before looking at the screen.

”Hello, Mr. Fang Zheng. I am Wilhelph Takin, Grand Moff of the Galactic Empire, here representing the great Emperor Palpatine to welcome your visit.”

At this point, Takin Administrator paused for a moment.

”If possible, would you like to come to our fortress for a conversation?”

”Of course, it would be an honor.”

The conversation soon ended, and then everyone saw a small shuttlecraft fly out from the leading warship, slowly heading toward the fortress. Takin Administrator also waved his hand, and soon the previously sealed fortress gate slowly opened, pulling the shuttlecraft inside.

”I kinda feel like we’re heading deep into enemy territory.”

Sitting in a chair, looking at the scene outside the window, Little Hei was excitedly rubbing his hands together.

”You see, doesn’t this feel like the plot where the protagonist goes deep into enemy lines in a movie?”

”Calm down, calm down, we have no enmity with the Galactic Empire, so don’t go looking for trouble.”

Fang Zheng gave Little Hei a pat on the head, quelling the little guy’s notion of causing trouble. This left Little Hei pouting, disgruntledly humming, but he didn’t say anything else.

Soon, the shuttlecraft came to a steady stop, and then the hatch opened. Fang Zheng adjusted his attire, leading Eiriri down the shuttlecraft first, followed closely by Little Hei, Illya, and Shihou Souki.

When the group stepped off the shuttlecraft, the first thing they saw was a vast expanse of Stormtroopers dressed in white armor, standing in formation in front of the shuttlecraft, looking as motionless as robots. Quickly, the Stormtroopers split into two lines, and Fang Zheng then saw a man clad in black armor stride from the other side of the corridor.

”.........”

Isn’t there supposed to be a BGM at this moment?! Where did the iconic BGM go?!

Watching Darth Vader emerge without the accompaniment of a BGM, Fang Zheng felt... like it was totally soulless!

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng quietly adjusted his personal terminal, and soon, the familiar sound of the BGM resonated in his ears.

”Dun-Dun-Dun! Dun-da-Dun, Dun-da-Dun!”

Ah, now it has that flavor!

Watching Darth Vader stride along with the BGM, Fang Zheng immediately felt refreshed, and the previous discomfort vanished instantly.

”Hello, guest from afar.”

Of course, Darth Vader didn’t know that Fang Zheng was still listening to the BGM. He stood in front of Fang Zheng and said in a low voice. In fact, Darth Vader was quite grateful for wearing a mask. Ordinary people might not sense it, but as a master of the Dark Force, Darth Vader could feel that this young man in front of him was like a massive, burning sun. Just being near him gave Darth Vader the illusion that he might be incinerated by fiery flames at any moment, reduced to ashes.

For the first time, Darth Vader was so grateful for his current body. If he were still human, just being near this man might make him break out in a cold sweat or even show fear. However, now he concealed his face behind a heavy black helmet, and his lungs relied on machines to breathe. So even though Darth Vader was inwardly terrified, his voice remained as deep and steady as ever.

”I am Darth Vader. I represent His Imperial Majesty in welcoming you. His Imperial Majesty is very pleased with your arrival and is prepared to have a conversation with you. I apologize that this is not an ideal reception venue. If possible, the Emperor wishes to welcome you himself on Coruscant.”

”I don’t mind, after all, it is us who have come to intrude uninvited.”

”Please, follow me.”

Darth Vader dared not speak more with Fang Zheng. He directly turned around, made an inviting gesture, and then walked forward. Fang Zheng, with others, followed him closely. Soon, Darth Vader led Fang Zheng and his company to a communications room, where Fang Zheng saw on the screen an elderly man in a black cloak emanating an ”I am the ultimate boss” aura—Palpatine.

Truth be told, dressed like that, you really lack presence.

Looking at the elderly man wearing just a black robe, exposing only half of his chin, Fang Zheng truly wanted him to switch up his attire.

With a getup like that, if you don’t die, who will?

”Ah, I perceive your presence, young king...”

A raspy, aged voice slowly emanated from the other side of the screen.

”The Dark Force senses you. They fear you. Your blazing flames pierce the deepest darkness, causing even the Dark Forces to tremble. Who exactly are you, and why have you come here?”

”Hello, Mr. Palpatine.”

Given that the other party had laid it out bluntly, Fang Zheng naturally did not hold back. He nodded and then looked toward the Emperor of the Galactic Empire on the screen.

”We are from another far-off star system, and our presence here is not because of you, but due to another threat—the Chaos Tide. Have you heard of its existence?”

”Chaos... Chaos...”

The emperor’s voice gradually became low before rising vigorously again.

”I know, I have foreseen them in my dreams. Whether it’s light or dark, they are powerless against Chaos. I can feel...feel...these...ancient inheritance and memories, history before the Jedi, those forgotten pasts...”

”In fact, we are investigating certain matters, and I believe the Primordial Force in your star system is one of the clues. If possible, we hope to gain the Empire’s permission and assistance. In return, we can help resolve some issues for you or exchange some knowledge... What do you think?”

”............”

This time, Palpatine did not reply immediately. He was silent for a long time before finally speaking.

”If possible, I hope to discuss this matter with you in detail on Coruscant.”

”Of course, then...”

”Bee-doo—Bee-doo—!”

However, before the conversation was concluded, sudden urgent alarm sounds interrupted, and communication was cut off.

”What happened? What’s going on?”

Eiriri stood up uneasily, looking around. At this moment, the door opened, and Darth Vader walked in again.

”I apologize, we’ve encountered a bit of a...small incident. Please rest assured, we will resolve it shortly.”

Having finished saying this, Darth Vader turned around to leave, and the room was once again sealed.

”Are we being detained?”

Illya looked around uneasily and asked hesitantly, while Fang Zheng shrugged.

”No, I think they indeed have a problem to solve.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng opened his personal terminal and quickly ran a scan. Soon, the screen revealed two men in stormtrooper armor carrying guns, along with a Long-Haired Monster, battling with Imperial soldiers in the corridor.

”Come on, let’s enjoy a good show.”

Saying so, Fang Zheng shifted his posture, comfortably settling into the couch.

Live-action broadcasts are way more entertaining than the movies.
