Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1000 - 943: Talk about Sex

Alex had other plans in mind, it was something he wanted to ask a long time ago but because he was busy he postponed it. The truth is that he had planned to discuss this topic with her once he arrived.

ʼʼCome, Alexandra, donʼt be like that. Letʼs have this conversation and tomorrow I promise you that we will go on a date between siblings. Just the two of us.ʼʼ

Upon hearing her brotherʼs promise Gracierʼs eyes shone and began to smile.

ʼʼReally? Do really mean what you said?”

ʼʼOf course I mean it. We can pinky swear if you want.ʼʼ Alex said and stretched his pinky and Gracier smiled.

ʼʼItʼs a pinky swear then.ʼʼ

ʼʼWhat do you want to know?ʼʼ She asked right after the pinky swear.

ʼʼYou know youʼre already an adult and itʼs normal to have one boyfriend. Iʼm curious, I want to know if there is anyone you have in mind and is possibly thinking of going out with later.ʼʼ Alex asked while finishing his tea.

ʼʼHum! I donʼt have someone like that right now. Iʼm too busy trying to increase my strength and no boy have caught my eyes yet. None of them is strong as you and my boyfriend should be awesome like my brother, talented and rich as him as well.ʼʼ Gracier finally gave Alex the answer he wanted to hear, she even went beyond that and told him what kind of guy she would love like to have as a boyfriend.

Alex couldnʼt help but chuckling.

ʼIsnʼt somewhere thatʼs exactly like me? Iʼm know Iʼm awesome but still.ʼ

If Gracier knew what her brother was thinking at the moment she would have called him shameless without doubt.

ʼʼI see, itʼs good that you have such requirements but donʼt you think you should lower them a bit?”

Alex said, he was trying to have his sister know that she did not need to set such a high requirements because she was sure to have a man that didnʼt met all the requirements she said. She should start low.

ʼʼI refuse.ʼʼ

However, Alexʼs proposal was meet with an immediate refusal leaving Alex a bit overwhelmed and he could only scratch his head.

It was time to talk about the next subject, although she said she didnʼt have any boyfriend right now and was busy with gaining strength, he must talk to her about Sex. It is a necessary topic to discuss with your sister, not to let her make mistake.

Alex remembered that his grandma had talked about sex with him when he reached fifteen. Back then he sat there obediently listening to her, the poor old woman had no idea that Alex had already tasted the forbidden fruit few days prior to this lesson and yet still pretended that he had never touched a woman before.

When he recalled that now he was amused, those were the good old days when his best friend back then taught him few things and have him taste his first woman.

Alex shook his head and looked at his sister directly in the eyes.

ʼʼGracier did you know what Sex is?” He asked her directly not beating around the bush and Gracier who had an easy going expression until now stopped.

She knew from now on it was a serious topic and she must sincerely answer her brotherʼs question, the later must had an idea, a purpose behind this question.

Taking a deep breath Gracier replied.

ʼʼYes, itʼs the act copulating with a male. Itʼs the union between a male and a female.ʼʼ

While explaining this her face was red as tomato, obviously she was embarrassed.

Alex nodded, what she said was not wrong, itʼs the basic description of sex. As big brother he had something else to add, therefore he said.

ʼʼWhat you said isnʼt wrong but Iʼve something else to add so you better listen carefully.ʼʼ

It was Gracierʼs turn to nod, she focused all of her attention on what her brother was about to tell her, for fear of ever missing something and seeing his sister so attentive made Alex happy.

ʼʼThe human body is capable of sex long before the mind is mature enough to handle the emotions that go with it. Sex isnʼt just a fun thing like laser tag or bungee jumping, it is a powerful union between two souls. Isnʼt that why we say ”lovers”?

I can never see anything sinful about sex between consenting adults, what people do is their own business, but the most damaging cultural dislocation is the one between sex and love. Sex should always be an act between two souls who love one another deeply, who are are committed to one another, for it is a deeply spiritual act that bonds. As a species we are happiest with life long mates.

That is why older adults often caution young people not to run in too fast, to take time and be sure. To feel the heady passion that sex brings without the love to keep the bond strong ultimately brings damage not easily repaired. That is why emerging adults need to truly understand the difference between passionate love and lust.

One builds strong relationships, keeps our souls healthy and our self esteem high, the other is fireworks in the moment but ultimately leaves us empty, shallow and addicted like the junkie.ʼʼ

Gracier listened quietly and could not deny that what her brother said does make sense. Sex is not something to take lightly.

ʼʼDo you understand what Iʼve said?” Alex asked after a moment of silence, he had to make sure that his sister had really understood the meaning behind his lengthy explanation, he had borrowed something he heard somewhere while mixing his own words within.

ʼʼYes, brother I understood. Donʼt worry Iʼll pay attention to what Iʼll do in the future and not recklessly act, I meant Iʼll not act impulsively.ʼʼ

Gracier promised, she had really understood what her brother wished to convey through his explanation.

Alex nodded happy that his words went through, he was afraid that his sister would not immediately understood what he was trying to explain here.

ʼʼLetʼs drink wine.ʼʼ He proposed before taking of a bottle of white wine. Gracierʼs eyes shone upon seeing this.
