Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Chapter 1589: Chapter 1604: Scorching Hot Adorable Wife (145)

Ye Bai looked at Zhong Qin, and really liked her. During the days at the Huo Family, Grandma Zhong treated her like a daughter.

Many times she thought, if only she had a mother like that!

But, she never had a mother since she was young.

Zhong Qin helped Ye Bai with a maternity pad, dressed her in disposable underwear, and helped her put on a dress, ”This is more convenient, easier than wearing pants.”

Ye Bai responded, not really knowing much, so she just followed whatever Mama Zhong said!

Zhong Qin looked at Huo Jinxue, ”Give me the baby.”

Huo Jinxue handed the baby in her arms over to Zhong Qin.

Zhong Qin placed the baby next to Ye Bai, ”Here, wrap the baby, this way the milk flows faster.”

Ye Bai, ”Can’t we just use formula milk?”

Zhong Qin looked at Ye Bai, ”You’re a doctor too, you should know breastfeeding is better, breast milk contains many antibodies.”

Ye Bai didn’t respond, lowering her head to see the baby who had already latched on, sucking vigorously, even with eyes closed!

It hurt!

After a while, she tightly furrowed her brows.

Zhong Qin watched from the side and couldn’t help but laugh, ”It’s a bit painful at first, but it’ll get better in a few days.”

Ye Bai, ”...”

She really wanted to pluck the little thing off and push it aside!

Zhong Qin looked at Ye Bai, ”How did the birth happen so fast? When did the contractions start?”

Ye Bai looked at Zhong Qin, ”Early in the morning, around midnight I think. I was sleepy and didn’t pay attention, then when I woke up it still hurt, and kept getting worse. Before I realized it, I had given birth.”

Zhong Qin, ”...”

This child!

Luckily, she’s a doctor herself!

Ye Bai looked at the little one sucking earnestly with mixed feelings, and after a while, furrowed her brows and whimpered.

Zhong Qin, ”It’s alright, let her keep sucking.”

Just as she finished speaking, there was a knock at the door.

Zhong Qin looked towards the door, walked over, and opened it, seeing Shen Mubai, ”No worries, she’s breastfeeding.”

Shen Mubai didn’t enter, standing there, finding no words to describe his curiosity about Ye Bai!

But actually, a few decades ago, home births were common, it’s nothing strange.

After all, Ye Bai is a doctor herself.

He stood at the door for a while, roughly half an hour later, the door opened again.

Zhong Qin, ”Come in, have a look at Ye Bai, she’s probably fine.”

Shen Mubai entered the room, seeing Ye Bai lying on the bed with a calm face, not at all like someone who just gave birth.

She looked perfectly fine!

He pushed his glasses up, ”Looks fine, when confinement is over, get an ultrasound at the hospital to check there’s no residue inside the uterus and see the recovery condition.”

Ye Bai glanced at Shen Mubai without saying a word, she would manage her own uterus issues!

Shen Mubai looked at the baby beside, ”The diaper is blue.”

Zhong Qin checked, indeed, then unwrapped the diaper to change it with a new one.

Shen Mubai saw, it was a boy.

Ye Bai looked at Shen Mubai, ”Looks ugly, doesn’t he?”

Shen Mubai, ”...”

He turned back to Ye Bai, ”Many babies look like this when they’re first born, with time they’ll look much better.”

”...” Ye Bai didn’t speak, hopefully! If he still looked this ugly in the future, she wouldn’t want to admit it’s her child!

Luckily, Huanhuan didn’t deliver at the same time as her, otherwise, she might have done something unethical like secretly swapping the two babies!

Seeing Ye Bai was fine, Shen Mubai left the bedroom, looked at Huo Jinnan in the corridor, and thought about Shen You who hadn’t woken up yet, ”Did you contact Ye Bai’s father?”

Huo Jinnan, ”Already contacted, he should return to Hong Kong tonight.”

Shen Mubai, ”Will he take Ye Bai back?”

Huo Jinnan, ”He didn’t mention that.”
