Cursed Immortality

Chapter 1163: Judgment Rendered! (2)

Whiteness’s mind was still in utter mess because for him it was hard to imagine that he had returned to being a Demigod Void Mantis. Not to mention that everything had happened so fast, with no chance to resist, seemed to have maimed his mind.

Although Whiteness was ready to sacrifice everything for his master, when his connection was cut off in the infinite space, he seemed to develop a will to survive.

Moreover, he was willing to sacrifice his everything if he could kill the ’Heretic,’ but he failed, and he knew that within this terrifying space, he wouldn’t stand a chance. Lastly, escape was out of the question because he couldn’t flee even after revealing his real physique, much less now.

At that moment, Jacob finally acted for the first time since Whiteness had shown up, ”Slumber Hex!”

Whiteness suddenly felt his mind go blank, and all the chaos in his mind seemed to have vanished. He didn’t even try to resist because he felt relief and morbid peace as his body slowly fell in front of Jacob.

Jacob looked on impassively as Whiteness’s body fell, since he had already expected it. After all, Whiteness had been dragged to the same rank as Jacob, and when it came to the same realm, no one was Jacob’s match unless they were Heirs of UGS.

Furthermore, Jacob didn’t even try to interrogate Whiteness despite knowing that it was a treasure trove of unimaginable knowledge. But Jacob won’t be Jacob if he fails to utilize this impossibly rare opportunity to the fullest.

”How long will he stay in his current state?” Jacob impassively questioned Immortika.

”Oh come on, you’ve just taken down a Void Mantis at Higher Law God Rank with the cheap price of measly 100,000 years of lifespan, I think it’s worth celebrating at least a little.” Immortika pretended to whine.

Jacob curtly replied, ”I nearly died within my own Universal Godly Artifact, do you think I’m in the mood to celebrate? Furthermore, as long as this guy is alive, he’ll still wreak havoc once he regains his power. So, I need to know how long I have.”

”Hehehe, you do have a point there...” Immortika chortled playfully, ”...but if you want to get rid of him, simply kill him, and be done with it. All of your troubles will be gone.”

Jacob’s eyes flickered coldly as he retorted, ”You know exactly what I’m planning, so let’s not waste my time, and tell me whether I have a chance or not.”

”Hahahaha...” Immortika burst into wanton laughter as if extremely amused, ”Alright, alright, to answer your question, if the Scales of Justice had been activated by a true Arch-Justice Human, it would’ve been limited depending on their bloodline and rank.

”However, in your case, the Scales of Justice have become your exclusive ability with no connection with the Arch-Justice Human Race anymore, and calling them the ’Scales of Infinity’ won’t be wrong.

”That’s why, since the Scales of Infinity were activated through your Infinity Blood, the judgment will last as long as you exist!”

Jacob’s eyes flared with astonishment as he wasn’t expecting his law ability to be so overbearing to the point of lasting until he lived, which means if he became Immortal one day, those who were judged by the ’Scales of Infinity’ would fall into eternal misery.

At this moment, he looked at Whiteness’s unconscious body and asked, ”Which means, as long as I’m alive, he will forever remain as a Quasi-Myth, with no room to break free from the Scales of Infinity’s judgment?”

”Exactly! Unless you want to ’terminate’ the judgment, and ’pardon’ him, which by the way is very easy, just activate the Scales again with him in the vicinity and think about pardoning him, and done! But I know you won’t do that, hehe~.” Immortika snickered.

Realization dawned on Jacob at that moment as he nodded, and now he knows everything that he needed to know about the Scales of Infinity. But Jacob still has no plan to use them unless he were in a similar situation or had a massive lifespan.

But Immortika wasn’t done as the Cursed Book continued, ”Oh, and if you are thinking of using the Blood Insect Enslavement Ritual Array on him, it won’t work because the moment you release him, the ritual will be undone.

”Another thing, if you are going to call the Brain Hunter, so you could have it not only claim the Void Mantis body but also regain the Void Mantis memories, I’ll strongly advise you against it.

”Although the Brain Hunter will definitely be able to evolve again, you will deeply regret it. Lastly, you should never take the Void Mantis body or any belongings outside the Infinite Space.

”As for why I’m telling you all of this, don’t ask or even think about it until you complete my next phase. But the other methods aren’t so bad. Heh~!”

Jacob didn’t even flinch when Immortika perfectly guessed his inner thoughts, as he was already used to it. But he was greatly alarmed when he heard the part about Autarch because he was exactly planning to do what Immortika had just revealed.

As for taking the Void Mantis body out or his belongings, Jacob was also well aware of what kind of existence he was dealing with, so even if Immortika hadn’t warned him, he wasn’t planning on doing any of that.

But Jacob decided to remain silent since Immortika had already given him this huge piece of information, and he also couldn’t deny the fact that if Immortika hadn’t given him that clue about his Eyes of Judge, he might’ve already been dead.

”Do you think he’s also related to those two guys?” Jacob asked, clearly implying Destin Saint and Immortal Nimrod.

He was especially inclined towards Immortal Nimrod because of Whiteness’s origin, but he still feels something didn’t seem to fit. He was also expecting Immortika not answer this question and brush it off like always, yet he still asked.

”Hehe, well, I can answer this, but only this.” Immortika unexpectedly replied, ”The answer is...NO! Hahahahaha...!”

This time, Jacob was startled, as this was out of his expectations, but he quickly calmed down and no longer inquired about this topic because he would soon know what was really going on if what he was going to do actually worked.

At that moment, Jacob stopped talking with Immortika and finally decided to use the only method remaining to deal with Whiteness, and Immortika had already hinted that this method was feasible.

Furthermore, this method was at the top of Jacob’s list from the start because it will give him the highest return with the least losses from Whiteness!

At this moment, Jacob transmitted his voice through his mind, ”Nyx, since you’ve seen everything, I don’t need to tell you what kind of existence we are dealing with and what kind of opportunity I’m going to give you.

”So, I want you to implant a Nightmare Conqueror Seed and use the Nightmare Sepsis on this Void Mantis!”
