Cursed Immortality

889  Kingslayer!

The sudden teleportation, which was even faster than normal teleportation, sent a chill running down Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs spine. He wouldʼve never anticipated that Jacob would be so brazen as to attack him right in his throne room directly.

Furthermore, he was a legendary king, and a fight between legendary kings could shake heaven and earth, raise cities to the ground, cause storms, and even change the weather, turning lands into forbidden zones.

Thatʼs why legendary kings never fight in public places or even lands. As a matter of fact, they always move high in space because a simple shockwave from their full-power attacks can raise a city to the ground! But Jacob clearly had no such qualms; in fact, after observing the Myriad Galaxy City and meeting Myriad Galaxy King, Jacob was completely sure that Myriad Galaxy King wouldnʼt dare to release his full power in his beloved city and cause harm to him. He was too obsessed with it.

Furthermore, Myriad Galaxy King was injured on top of that and far weaker than Jacob, so Jacob wonʼt miss such an advantage and directly mount a surprise attack without holding back. He was betting on the Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs obsession and taking full advantage of it.

Just as Jacob expected, the Myriad Galaxy King tried to block Jacobʼs incoming claw towards his forehead as he instantly poured soul force into his spiritual eye. His reaction was also extremely fast, but not fast enough as just his violet eye began to ripple with light; Jacobʼs hand, like a bone claw, was already on his head!

The next moment, Jacob also released his full soul force back by the full power of his totem as the symbol of infinity on his skull crown started to shimmer with terrifying kaleidoscopic light, and a phantom of infinity bloomed behind him in its full glory!

Their exchange was so fast that just a measly second had passed, yet Myriad Galaxy King was already at a disadvantage.

When Jacobʼs soul force back by his laws came in contact with Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs soul force, it was instantly destroyed. Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs body shook violently as he felt like the death knell rang. Only now did he understand how terrifyingly powerful Jacob was, especially with all those laws!

”Ahhhh!” Sensing the deadly crisis, Myriad Galaxy King roared, trying to summon his soul totem manifestation to push Jacob away without caring about the aftermath anymore since he cherished his life more, and a moment of clarity returned.

But Jacob was like an unmovable mountain, and from the moment he gripped Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs head, he had no intention of letting him go since he knew it would be very troublesome once Myriad Galaxy King was freed.

However, Jacob didnʼt know a powerful lawʼs soul totem had the ability to suppress an inferior lawʼs soul totem to some degree, and his soul totem was anything but weak.

So, the moment he released his full power, and because of Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs initial hesitation with Jacobʼs surprise attack and superior power, the Myriad Galaxy King was doomed never to overcome this crisis.

Jacobʼs soul was forced directly through Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs soul defenses and a foreign barrier before it engulfed his soul totem, which was radiating the maddening power of law.

Under his soul force, the soul totem was completely suppressed, and Jacob had even broken a defensive soul artifact; the Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs law was utterly crushed under Jacobʼs laws, and at this moment, Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs life was finally under Jacobʼs control without the possibilities of fleeing with his soul totem!

The soul totem was the only weakness of a legendary rank, and thatʼs why they protect it at all costs, especially legendary kings. All kinds of soul artifacts with soul defenses were used to ensure their soul never perished, and thatʼs why Legendary King rarely died.

But Myriad Galaxy King just happened to meet an anomaly like Jacob, who was on the crux of becoming a myth, and his soul totem contained a forbidden arcane law that destroyed all of his defensive measures.

Eyes wide open with terror and disbelief, Myriad Galaxy King could feel his soul totem was now completely under Jacobʼs mercy, and if he destroyed it, heʼd perish.

Jacob was well aware that now he held Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs life under his hand, and he could see the Myriad Galaxy King was filled with terror of death. If he wanted Myriad Galaxy King to be a slave, he would probably agree, but sadly for Myriad Galaxy King, Jacob has no intention of enslaving him.

Thereafter, Jacobʼs eyes flickered with merciless light as he ruthlessly destroyed Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs consciousness in his soul totem. The light in Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs eyes vanished, and the struggle ended as he was lumpen on his beloved throne.

Although Myriad Galaxy King still has a life force, he was nothing but a living corpse now with a soul totem and complete soul star and magic core. However, there was no consciousness to control them.

This was a meticulous way to kill someone, which required powerful control over soul force and laws, which came to Jacob naturally.

Jacob finally let go as he emotionlessly looked at the Myriad Galaxy King on his throne, that was quite ironic for in a sense he died protecting his city just as he wanted just not as he had imagined.

Elia was completely shaken as she finally snapped out of her stupor. She had moved so abruptly and fast that before she could even comprehend what was happening, the Myriad Galaxy King was now lying lump on his own throne, and Jacob stood there the same as ever.

All she saw was Jacob gripping the Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs head before he screamed, and then everything was over. Jacob had again relivened his image in her mind, and right now, she holds absolute obedience and reverence towards him just like a God!

Jacob gave the Myriad Galaxy King a final glance before he let Autarch do his thing. The next moment, Autarch had already vanished into Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs ear with a rare excitement.

”How is it?” Jacob asked with a hint of anticipation.

Although he had wiped Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs consciousness, he didnʼt know if it would hinder Autarchʼs advancement in any way.

But he canʼt risk leaving even a sliver of Myriad Galaxy Kingʼs consciousness behind because only after coming in contact with a legendary king does he understand just how territory their consciousness was, and he canʼt take chances with Autarch. If this didnʼt work, he would have to think of another method.

At this moment, Autarchʼs voice rang, ”Itʼs sufficient! Thank you, sir!”

Relieved, Jacob pulled a faint smile before his eyes flickered coldly as he looked towards the entrance.

Elia shivered when Jacob looked over but quickly discovered he wasnʼt looking at her but at the entrance, and her expression also changed when she heard hurried footsteps approaching!
