Cursed Immortality

Chapter 1168: Void Monarch!

The moment Jacob established Autarch’s identity as the real Heretic, everything became clear, and some of the blank spaces in this entire event started to fill on their own.

For example, when the Artifact Spirit mentioned the part about the Heretic position being exposed, which enabled Whiteness to track him all the way to the Serpent Abyss Forest, it was most likely because Autarch wasn’t with Jacob.

’But this is still quite strange, after all, Autarch was born way before I opened the infinite space, which means the interference mentioned by Whiteness’s backer is probably related to me or...Cursed Immortality!’

Jacob’s eyes flared with a hint of surprise when he thought about this possibility, but he knew it was most likely true.

Nonetheless, Jacob’s mind stirred when he thought about what would have happened if he hadn’t wished to teleport directly to Autarch’s position and instead had gone somewhere else and allowed Autarch to roam on its own!

At that time, Autarch would’ve been utterly helpless against Whiteness, and things turned out vastly different from now, and Jacob wouldn’t even know what had happened to Autarch.

Not to mention if Jacob had been captured by Destin Saint, things would become even more complicated!

However, Jacob still grimaced when he thought about someone who could command a Higher Law God Rank Void Mantis was hunting his most reliable commander, which means he had just gained another terrifying enemy!

At this moment, Jacob’s body suddenly emitted an icy cold killing intent, startling the brocade box and the patterns on it churn violently.

”Who is this Supreme One?” Jacob demanded without emotion behind his voice; only eerie killing intent and rage.

The brocade box seemed to be hesitant, but Jacob’s aura was simply too overbearing, especially with the infinite space multiplying it to an extreme degree, making even a sealed Divine Artifact sense faint dread.

”Could this space really cut us from the Zodiac Plains? Because the ’Supreme One’ is a ’Taboo Entity’ and even by speaking ’their’ moniker or title, ’they’ will be able to sense it!

”And don’t even dare to think that this is just your mortal sense, but once their sense is triggered, even I dare not imagine what would happen. But I can guarantee you there will be endless suffering!

”Lastly, even if I’m daring enough to utter the name of the ’Supreme One’, you might not even hear it because the Universe protects their names; only those qualified ones could preserve them!”

The Artifact Spirit voice was filled with reverence, awe, and fear when it mentioned the Supreme One; it was even more afraid of the Supreme One than Jacob.

On the other hand, Jacob turned even more grave when he heard ’Taboo Entity’ because Immortika had already warned him once about speaking Taboo Entities’ Taboo/True Names.

Furthermore, according to Immortika, the Cursed Book itself was a Taboo Entity of the highest caliber, but there were also other Taboo Entities within the Universe. Moreover, only Taboo Entities can speak each other’s names without worrying about the consequences.

However, this only made this situation even worse than Jacob had imagined, as he always thought Whiteness was working for either Immortal Nimrod or Destin Saint. But now there was a Taboo Entity behind Whiteness, and apparently, ’they’ were hunting Autarch to the point of sending a Higher Law God Rank Void Mantis!

Moreover, Jacob clearly noticed this Taboo Entity seemed to inflict fear, even an arrogant Artifact Spirit, which shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Nonetheless, Jacob didn’t let it affect him; he was deeply confident in the Infinite Space. After all, it was a part of a Universal Godly Artifact, and it can even block the eyes of other heirs of UGS.

”You can speak freely here!” Jacob spoke coldly, his voice carrying boundless authority and confidence.

”Are you sure? This is not a laughing matter! Shouldn’t you consult the ’Taboo Entity’ who owned this place first?” The Brocade Box still seemed hesitant and expressed deep doubts, as it kindly advised.

The Brocade Box still thought that Jacob was like the fox who borrows the tiger’s might, and that imposing aura he was emitting also belonged to that existence, which also made it believe that the Taboo Entity also wanted it to follow Jacob.

Jacob became impatient, but he didn’t try to clarify the Artifact Spirit’s misunderstanding about the Taboo Entity, which, in a sense, was true.

”Do Immortal Nimrod and Destin Saint consider Taboo Entities?”

Jacob suddenly gave these two names as he not only wanted to see if the Brocade Box knew about them, but also if these two could also be considered Taboo Entities.

But even Jacob hadn’t imagined that the Brocade Box instantly started to tremble as its patterns seemed to turn into utter chaos, as if suffering from divine tribulation.

”Y-y...you! H-how did you know the name of the Void Monarch!?” It stammered with horror, ”N...no! It’s not important! You dare to speak it out loud, do you have a death wish!?”

Jacob’s eye flared gloomily, ”Void Monarch? Are you talking about Immortal Nimrod? So, he is a Taboo Entity!”

”Fearless!” The Brocade Box was flabbergasted as it couldn’t help but persuade, ”You don’t understand, Mortal! Void Monarch isn’t considered a Taboo Entity, but within the Universal Void, even a Taboo Entity might not be able to do anything to Void Monarch!

”Furthermore, the Void Monarch is a mysterious entity with abilities unknown to many, yet the name of Void Monarch is also considered a Taboo Name, and within the Universal Void or Zodiac Plains, those who are aware of ’his’ existence won’t dare to utter it!

”Lord Whiteness has a deep history with the Void Monarch and could be considered a traitor of the Universal Void. Even to this day, the Void Monarch still hunts Lord Whiteness, but because of Lord Whiteness’s exalted race, even the Void Monarch couldn’t easily track him!”

Towards the end, the Artifact Spirit seemed to be filled with pride when it spoke about Whiteness’s feat.

However, Jacob wasn’t paying attention to how it felt at all because the information he just gained was too astounding.

”Even Immortal Nimrod couldn’t track a Void Mantis?” Jacob muttered under his breath and couldn’t help but look at Whiteness with a peculiar glimmer in his eyes!
