Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1565  First Battle Against a Celestial Immortal (1)

”Hmph! Even if you are from an ancient hidden sect, I wonʼt allow those two people to escape. Especially that person who killed my family member!” Hearing what Xuan Hao said, the ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire hesitated for a moment before responding with confidence. Not intending to continue the conversation as he directly made a move to try and kill Chu Yang and Zhao Ling. Attempting to kill both before a battle could start with Xuan Hao, as he deep down still wanted to avoid a confrontation with someone that had at least reached the Celestial Immortal Realm according to the information they had managed to gather on him so far.

Whoosh~

Unfortunately for the ancestor of the Blue Sea Empire, Xuan Hao had already expected something like this to happen, as he wasted no time in sending his disciples and Zhao Ling away through a spatial passage that had secretly been established by him during his conversation with the ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire. Destroying any chances the other party had a killing the four, as the connection point of the spatial passage he used to move them through was outside the mountain range, while more importantly also being outside the range of the Blue Sea Empire Ancestorʼs divine sense.

Even if he wished to chase after them, there was nowhere for him to start. After all, the space around them was under the complete control of Xuan Hao. Allowing him to easily hide the direction of the spatial passage from him.

The only way that the other party could still track down his disciples after this was if he had reached the Large Success Realm in the Dao of Space, but… Considering how rare it was for someone to comprehend the Dao of Space to the Small Success Realm on the entire continent, he doubted that the person in front of him was someone who had managed to surpass even that realm and step into the Large Success Realm.

”Dao of Space!”

On the other hand, seeing Xuan Hao using the Dao of Space to send away the two people he intended to kill, the ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire could not help freezing on the spot with a shocked expression on his face. Never having expected Xuan Hao to be someone proficient in the Dao of Space.

Even though he felt confident in his own strength, he understood full well that it was close to impossible to kill someone proficient in the Dao of Space unless they had prepared special artifacts or methods to restrain their ability to manipulate space to escape…

Swish-!

However, given that the enmity had already been created between himself and the Star Shattering Sect, he had no plans of escaping. Instead, planning on using the opportunity to potentially gauge the strength of the elder in front of him to get a clearer picture of the true strength of the Star Shattering Sect. After all, even among hidden ancient sects there was a clear difference in strength, some being slightly weaker than a major power like his Blue Sea Empire, while the stronger ones had reached a level where they could essentially erase the Blue Sea Empire with a flip of a hand.

However, given that the enmity had already been created between himself and the Star Shattering Sect, he had no plans of escaping. After all, even among hidden ancient sects there was a clear difference in strength, some being slightly weaker than a major power like his Blue Sea Empire, while the stronger ones had reached a level where they could essentially erase the Blue Sea Empire with a flip of a hand.

Of course, the Star Shattering Sect was not at that level, but it still needed to be confirmed how far away from that level of strength it was…

Bang!

And it was because of this that the ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire now found himself clashing headfirst with Xuan Hao for the first time, both their domains violently clashing with each other before the actual clash. Soon enough, showing that his domain was a bit on the losing side when confronted with Xuan Haoʼs dao domain.

BOOOM-!

Following the two exchanging blows for the first time, the expression on the face of the ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire eased slightly.

Although he had been somewhat on the losing side when faced with Xuan Haoʼs dao domain, he ended up slightly ahead when clashing with him. Indicating that their overall strength should be around the same level.

This was by far the best-case scenario, as it meant the other party was also in the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm like himself.

From this level of strength from an elder of the Star Shattering Sect, although the sect shouldnʼt be among the weakest ancient hidden sects, it shouldnʼt be too strong either. At most it is a bit weaker or stronger than the Blue Sea Empire. The main worrying factor would be the inheritance of such a force.

Given how long it has existed, it should have a terrifying inheritance and methods far beyond the Blue Sea Empire that has only been around for a fraction of the time that the sect has existed…

As he thought about this to himself, the ancestor of the Blue Sea Empire realized that although the Star Shattering Sect shouldnʼt be much stronger than the Blue Sea Empire, the difference in inheritance between the two made it close to impossible for them to make a move against the Star Shattering Sect in their own territory.

Not to mention, outside of the Star Shattering Sect, the empire also had to deal with the increasingly problematic demonic cultivators. Not having the time or energy to spare on dealing with a force like the Star Shattering Sect.

So… This matter will ultimately be ignored until further notice when I bring it up to the rest…

Feeling a sense of anger as he thought about this and how his beloved family member couldnʼt be avenged, the ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire erupted with even more power as he began to seriously attack Xuan Hao with all his strength.

In turn, this forced Xuan Hao to also start drawing on all his strength for the first time in a rather long time. Giving him a chance to examine his current limit, while also getting the chance to see where he could improve. This was after all his first real battle against someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm.

At the same time, it was also a perfect opportunity for him to gain a better understanding of the strength of someone in the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm.
