Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 605: Building the Qi Gathering Formation

Taking out the treasures he had gathered for the Qi Gathering Formation, Xuan Hao could not help taking a good look at the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Flower that would become the core of the Qi Gathering Formation.

Even with alchemy knowledge he had gained from the system, he had no idea what the name of the flower was, as the knowledge itself did not include spiritual herbs at the Transcendent Grade.

If not for the fact that the spiritual herb could be used in the Qi Gathering Formation, Xuan Hao would honestly have no idea what to use such a high-level spiritual herb on with his current cultivation realm.

Consuming it was out of the question, as he still had no idea whether or not the spiritual flower was poisonous. If it was truly a poisonous spiritual herb and he ended up eating it... Luckily, he had a use for it and didnʼt have to find a use for the spiritual flower!

I should get started...

Whoosh~

Not wasting any more time on useless thoughts, Xuan Hao placed the five Mystic Grade Natural Treasures that he had managed to gather in five different locations around the Seventh Star Peak. Having them form a pentagon formation with the Seventh Star Peak at the centre.

Whoosh~

As the five natural treasures were placed down, a line formed between all of them as all of the Mystic Grade Natural Treasure began moving from the position Xuan Hao had placed them in.

The Pure Heart Spiritual Water flowed freely as it formed a thin barrier around the entire Seventh Star Peak.

Followed by the Ash Sunstone merging together with the thin barrier of water formed around the Seventh Star Peak-

Fwoosh!

Which instantly caused a small fire to erupt just outside the thin barrier formed by the Pure Heart Spiritual Water.

Whoosh~

Whoosh~

Whoosh~

The Seven Petal Sky Flower, Spiritual Dark Metal Ore and the Full Moon Ganoderma soon followed as they similarly formed a unique barrier of their own.

Nodding his head happily upon seeing this, Xuan Hao soon waved his hand, as countless spiritual herbs, metals, and other kinds of natural treasures appeared from his interspatial ring before flying all around the Seventh Star Peak under the guidance of his power.

Only coming to a stop after having reached the destination predetermined according to the information about the Qi Gathering Formation that he had gotten from the system.𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Boom!

Following the thousands of lower grade spiritual herbs, metals, and other natural treasures settling into place all around the Seventh Star Peak, the barrier around the Seventh Star Peak seemed to undergo an earth-shaking change, as it rapidly began changing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Slowly, the five thin barrier that had formed from the fire, wood, water, wind, and metal Mystic Grade Natural Treasures began merging together with each other.

Whoooooosh~

Along with the five different unique barriers merging together, the thousands of lower grade natural treasures spread around the Seventh Star Peak all linked together before a large wave of natural qi belonging to the five elements that made up the five unique barrier surged into the massive barriers surrounding the entire Seventh Star Peak.

Instantly causing the merging process of the five unique barriers to hasten.

BOOOOOM!

After spending close to two hours like this, the five unique barriers surrounding the Seventh Star Peak finally merged together as they formed a new barrier that looked completely different from before.

The appearance of the barrier no longer reminded one of any of the five elements, but instead looked like something similar to chaotic qi that was ever-present in the Shattered Star Peaks.

Bang!

Following the change to the barrier, a friction seemed to appear between it and the chaotic qi, as the newly formed barrier began pushing out the chaotic qi inside the Seventh Star Peak!

”It really works...”

Even if it was slow and the Qi Gathering Formation was yet to be finished, Xuan Hao could not help showing a relieved smile upon seeing the unfinished Qi Gathering Formation start removing the chaotic qi from the Seventh Star Peak.

For the last step of constructing the Qi Gathering Formation, he would need to add in the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Flower.

Without it. Although the current unfinished Qi Gathering Formation could keep the chaotic qi at bay, it could not refine the chaotic qi into normal pure qi that could be gathered inside the formation and with time, it would slowly collapse on its own under the constant attack from the chaotic qi outside.

Only when the Qi Gathering Formation could gather qi from the outside to keep itself functioning and concentrate the qi inside it, would it be considered to be a real Qi Gathering Formation and for that, it required a Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure to act as a core!

”However, I should probably wait until all the chaotic qi on the Seventh Star Peak is removed before setting up the core...” Muttering this to himself as he glanced at the chaotic qi still swirling around on top of the mountain, Xuan Hao decided to wait until the unfinished Qi Gathering Formation had pushed out all the chaotic qi on top of the Seventh Star Peak out before starting to set up the core of the formation.

After all, setting up the core of the Qi Gathering Formation was the most delicate part of setting up the Qi Gathering Formation and could easily go wrong even for a skilled formation master. Let alone someone like Xuan Hao who had close to no experience with formations!

If not for the fact that he had a guide provided to him by the system, there was no way he would ever attempt to create a Qi Gathering Formation with his current skill level!

For this reason, Xuan Hao wanted the environment to be the best possible when he created the formation core. Not wanting any chaotic qi to interfere while he was setting it up and accidently ending up ruining the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Flower in the process...

...

Over the next two hours, Xuan Hao waited patiently as all the qi inside the unfinished Qi Gathering Formation covering the Seventh Star Peak was slowly pushed out. Allowing the still unfished Qi Gathering Formation to completely remove any and all chaotic qi on the Seventh Star Peak.

”This should be good enough...” Carefully scanning the Seventh Star Peak and making sure that there was no chaotic qi left, Xuan Hao carefully took out the small flower from his interspatial ring before placing it at the centre of the pentagon formation that had formed around the Seventh Star Peak.

BOOOOOM!

Following the small flower being placed down, a terrible power erupted from it before washing over Xuan Hao standing just a short distance away from it.

The power erupting from the flower was far stronger than anything Xuan Hao had ever felt before and was very clearly above the Domain Lord Realm.

”Hmph!”

However, Xuan Hao did not let this intimidate him, as he quickly formed hundreds of different ancient symbols with his hands within an instant before directing all of them towards the small flower located at the centre of the formation.

Whoosh~

As the symbols flew over, all of them quickly merged together with the small flower, as an ancient pattern formed above the small flower. Quickly suppressing the terrible power erupting from the small flower before directing it towards the barrier.

Crack-!

As the thin barrier was suddenly met with the power of the flower, it rapidly began cracking all over, as it seemed like it would break apart at any moment.

Bang!

Swish-!

However, just as the massive formation seemed like it would break apart, the ancient symbol formed above the ancient flower split apart into hundreds of different symbols before merging together with the barrier that surrounded the Seventh Star Peak.

”...”

In an instant, everything became quite on the Seventh Star Peak, as Xuan Hao watched in awe how the barrier kept silently changing in front of him, as it adapted to the power of the flower.

All of this without him even lifting a finger!

The ancient symbols that the system had taught him to set up the Qi Gathering Formation were truly wonderful. All he had to do was form the symbols and they would do the rest of the work while he just watched the Qi Gathering Formation getting constructed in front of him...

Soon enough, everything fell into place, as the small flower finally calmed down before it gently floated mid-air.

”Did it succeed-”

BOOM!

Before Xuan Hao even had the time to say anything, the formation around him began moving on its own, as he felt the chaotic qi outside getting drawn into the formation before being slowly refined and turned into pure qi that could easily be absorbed by cultivators.

Feeling the pure qi slowly raining down from above after having been refined from chaotic qi, Xuan Hao instantly understood what had just happened.

The Qi Gathering Formation had successfully been created!
