Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 56: Troublesome Disciple

”…” The entire crowd froze for a moment as they looked at where the passed-out Bai Fei was now laying on the ground, then they turned around and looked up at Qing Yi.

This was supposed to be an epic match between two cultivators at the Foundation Establishment Realm! The fight even started out spectacularly…

Qing Yi did not expect the match to end so easily and smiled awkwardly when she saw the confused look on the crowds faces.

”Impudent!” As Bai Fei hit the ground, the black robed man from the Black Rose sect opened his eyes and looked at Qing Yi with a frown on his face.

The aura of a Nascent Soul expert quickly spread out and engulfed Qing Yi and the crowd, freezing them in place.𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

”Hmph, how dare your mere Qing family beat up someone from the Black Rose sect? Looks like you really donʼt want to live anymore.” The black robed man stood up and looked disdainfully in the direction of the Qing family as he said this.

Qing Yang and the rest of the Qing family started trembling in anger upon hearing the black robed manʼs words.

Beat up? This is a goddamn martial arts tournament! How can someone not get hurt? If you want an excuse to attack us, just say it!

Xuan Hao looked at the angry looks on the Qing familyʼs faces and then turned to look at the black robed man now standing in front of the Bai family as he disdainfully smiled towards them.

”…”

Since when had Nascent Soul experts gotten so shameless? This was the thought on Xuan Haoʼs and the crowds mind at the moment.

But the crowd decided to stay quiet, it was after all a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator…

”Hmph, I might as well deal with this little girl first.” Saying so, the Nascent Soul expert from the Black Rose sect waved his hand slightly as a bloody tendril formed in the air and the slender threadlike tendril, stretched out towards Qing Yi at a speed only Xuan Hao could see.

Before anyone could understand what was going on, the surrounding crowd saw a bloody tendril suddenly appear directly in front of Qing Yi.

Buzz!

However, just as everyone thought that Qing Yi was about to perish, another terrifying aura suddenly descended!

The terrifying blood tendril launched by the black-robed man was suddenly cut in half as a sword strike appeared just in front of Qing Yi at the last possible moment.

Qing Yi let out a sigh of relief upon seeing this, she knew that her master had defended her just now.

”Hmph, itʼs been a while since I have seen someone as shameless as you! Canʼt bear that your disciple lost to mine, so you decide to attack her?” Xuan Haoʼs voice came out from besides Qing Yi as he suddenly appeared directly besides her.

”This aura… Whatʼs going on? Why is there another Nascent Soul expert!?”

”Yeah, and this one seems to be slightly stronger as well, did you see how easily he dealt with that bloody tendril?!”

”If it was me, I would have probably died if even 1% of that tendrils strength hit me…”

Some of the weaker people in the crowd could not help but fearfully retreat and look towards Xuan Hao in awe.

…

This damn Bai family! Why did they not mention that the Qing family had the support of a Nascent Soul expert!

”…Might I ask where this Daoist is from?” The black-robed man from the Black Rose sect regained his bearing as he cautiously asked with narrowed eyes.

At the side, the Bai family knew that the situation was no longer under their control and most of the anxiously looked at the black-robed man. Hoping that he could deal with the unknown Nascent Soul expert that had appeared at the Qing familyʼs side.

Bai Hua, the former head of the Bai family looked towards Xuan Hao standing besides Qing Yi and sighed to himself.

”Ha… The Bai family is done for… the only reason that the Black Rose Sect took in Bai Fei was because they had a use for him… Between offending a Nascent Soul expert and helping the Bai family…” Bai Hua felt the last bit of hope that he had for the Bai family disappear as he walked out of the venue.

Only Xuan Hao and the black robed man from the Black Rose Sect saw him leave the venue, but both ignored him. After all, neither cared about him leaving or staying.

”From today onwards, I will travel the world and finally explore it without being bound by the task of looking after the Bai family…” Giving a final sad smile in the direction of the panicking Bai family, Bai Hua told himself as he felt himself being freer and more relaxed than ever.

This was the last time that the Bai family would ever see Bai Hua.

”…”

Xuan Hao looked at the old man well into his eighties disappearing into the distance, he clearly knew that he was a member of the Bai family, but the sad feeling of the elderly man caused Xuan Hao not to do anything to him.

He instinctively felt that the old man most likely did not have anything to do with the Bai family current aggressive behaviour in trying to kill the Qing family off.

The current scuffle between the two familyʼs had lasted for hundreds of years, but it was only recently that the Bai family truly started to try and get rid of the Qing family!

Xuan Hao did not find the scuffle and skirmishes for the past hundreds or so years weird, as it was relatively normal for something like that to happen if two families were around equal in strength in the same city…

”Ha…” Sighing to himself, Xuan Hao looked away from the elderly manʼs back and turned his focus back onto the black robed Nascent Soul expert.

The fight between two families for the rule of a region or city was not really fair and Xuan Hao knew this as well.

Most likely, the Bai family and the Black Rose Sect were the big bad guys, but this was only from the Qing familyʼs perspective.

The only thing Xuan Hao could see was two familyʼs fighting for control over a city, his disciple just happened to be from one of them, causing him to join in and help her family.

This disciple of his… Maybe she was more troublesome than he had first thought…?
