Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Facing the massive crystals leaning against the open door that the holy guardian had been guarding only a short time ago before it ended up unfortunately running into Xuan Hao, the group of juniors were all filled with excitement as they recognized what the crystal standing before them was- or more accurately, there was no way they wouldn’t know what the crystals before them symbolized, as their own families had once used similar crystals to break through and reach the Void Monarch Realm. In a way, using these kinds of unique crystals to break through and reach the Void Monarch Realm was the most normal way of advancing to the Void Monarch Realm throughout the fragmented continent as only a rare few could advance on their own by comprehending the Dao of Space.

In fact, most of the Void Monarch Realm cultivators Xuan Hao had encountered this way and worked hard for hundreds of thousands of years to slowly progress through the Void Monarch Realm and barely reach the Middle Stage of the Void Monarch Realm, with few ever getting to the Late Stage of the Void Monarch Realm outside of those who had advanced naturally without the use of the crystals.

For this reason, this little group of juniors whose strength was barely around the Domain Lord Realm were obvious overcome with joy upon seeing those crystals and any doubts they might have had regarding the battle that had so clearly taken place around them was thrown to the back of their minds as the group surged forth and each of them chose a crystal to absorb.

Luckily for them, there was barely enough for the group of five to get one each. Meaning all five of them would be able to break through to the Void Monarch Realm.

Of course, given that they were a group of juniors and hadn’t managed to learn much about the circumstances of the ancient city center and had essentially made their way directly to the ancient cathedral whose spire they now found themselves inside, they also had no idea that they shouldn’t break through to the Void Monarch Realm inside the ancient city center.

Rumble~

Because of this, it didn’t take long before they each fully absorbed the large crystals and began rapidly growing stronger. The presence around them shifting away from the weak presence one would instantly associate with that of a junior to one befitting of a senior cultivator standing amongst the strongest beings found throughout the fragmented continent. The entire process, taking no more than a few hours before all five had successfully elevated their strength from somewhere barely around the Domain Lord Realm to a level comparable to that of someone in the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm.

Or for those at the fragmented continent, the Early Stage of the Void Monarch Realm. The entire process being completely different from the group of seventeen who had to go into a brief seclusion to breakthrough and had already reached the limits of what they could. Only a single step away from the Void Monarch Realm.

If Xuan Hao had been around to see the group of five, he would have noticed that the presence of the five was completely different from a normal Void Monarch Realm cultivator and looked more so to be somewhere in between, as the five hadn’t yet adapted to their new strength and stabilized their cultivation.

With time, they would be able to make themselves no different from normal Void Monarch Realm cultivators, but for now, that time was still off into the future. For now, they first had to get used to their new strength before anything else.

In the process, it also became clear that the disturbance from their breakthrough to the Void Monarch Realm that would have normally activated the dormant formation that existed throughout the ancient cathedral spire that connected it to the rest of the ancient city center and killed them the second they broke through to the Void Monarch Realm. Didn’t activate. Showing that a breakthrough to the Void Monarch Realm was possible within the city center, that is, if one broke through with the assistance of a crystal and didn’t breakthrough to the Void Monarch Realm normally.

Of course, the group of five had no idea that they had just managed to escape death and were just overjoyed over the fact that they had managed to reach the Void Monarch Realm in a single step. Surpassing their parents and reaching a realm only their old ancestors holding up their families back home had reached.

”Haha, I would love to see the face of my old man when he finds out I managed to breakthrough and reach the Void Monarch Realm before him!”

”Hehe, that ancestor of mine said I was slacking off too much, I’m already looking forward to seeing his expression when I get back.”

”Hmph, that little brat from my mothers side always said I would never surpass him, when I get back, I will teach that little one a lesson.”

Chatting with joy as they felt the newfound strength flowing through their body.

The entire thing lasted longer than the few hours it took them to break through to the Void Monarch Realm in the first place before they finally calmed down from the excitement all of them felt following the massive and sudden increase in strength all of them had experienced.

After which, none of them questioned the battlefield around them and instead gathered to head up the central spire once again. Only this time around with far more excitement and confidence compared to before.

Excited because of the strength they had gained and confident because of the strength they had gained.

Not to mention them breaking through to the Void Monarch Realm, the group of five were already starting to fantasize about reaching the Void Integration Realm and surpassing their old ancestors back home, something they would have never dared to think about in the past before coming to the ancient city center and obtaining an opportunity to reach the Void Monarch Realm.
