Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Hearing that Xuan Hao was about to leave, Xu Bao could not help freezing for a moment before a sudden feeling of loss washed over him.

Over the past few days, he had grown used to the fact that he had the support of a powerful senior that would be able to help him, but now, he was once again back to being the only person who was able to support the independent sects when faced with the powerful kingdoms standing behind the major sects.

Although he had long since know that this time would come, he could still not stop himself from feeling a certain sense of loss when it was finally time for Xuan Hao was about to leave.

Knowing that nothing would come from just staring blankly into the distance, Xu Bao calmed down before turning towards Xuan Hao. ”I hope you have a great journey back home. Remember to contact me if you need help with anything! Ah! You can also contact me if you come to the core of the Sky Empire again, I will be more than happy to have you visit at my sect!”

”Of course, I will make sure to contact you in the future in case I visit the core region or need your help.” Chuckling silently to himself as he saw the somewhat begging expression that had unconsciously appeared on the face of Xu Bao, Xuan Hao felt that it would be a good idea to visit Xu Bao and his sect when the Star Shattering Sect officially began expanding into the core region of the Sky Empire.

If things worked out well, Xuan Hao had a feeling that he would be able to get Xu Bao and his sect to join under the Star Shattering Sect when that happened. At that point in time, it would not be hard to get the rest of the independent sects to join under the Star Shattering Sect.

This way, when the Star Shattering Sect expanded into the core region of the Sky Empire in the future, they would already have a solid foundation in the core region of the Sky Empire due to these independent sects. The prerequisite to this, was of course that the independent sects would not get overwhelmed by the major sects or the powerful kingdoms behind them before this happened…

Well… That is a matter for the future. For now, I need to get back to the sect and see how my disciples are doing, I wonder if Qing Yi has managed to reach the Nascent Soul Realm yet…

Shaking his head as he thought about all of this, Xuan Hao did not stay around the group of elders and disciples from the independent sects for any longer-

Swish-!

Directly using the Drifting Cloud Steps to start his journey back towards the Star Shattering Sect. Wanting to return to see how far his disciples had managed to improve during the time he was gone.

…

At the same time Xuan Hao started making his way back towards the Star Shattering Sect after having split up with Xu Bao and the rest of the elders from the independent sects, Qing Yi was sitting in a small valley located at the bottom of the Seventh Star Peak. Chu Yang watching over her from a distance.

Although the place was not located far away from the sect itself, it was isolated and not a place that disciple or elders would normally visit when travelling between the different Star Peaks. For this reason, it was a perfect location for cultivators who were looking for a quiet place to breakthrough in peace.

Closing her eyes as she entered an optimal state of mind, Qing Yi focused on what she had come to this small, isolated valley to do. Break through to the Nascent Soul Realm!

”It’s finally time…” In the distance, Chu Yang could not help tensing up as he saw this, a hint of worry flashed past his eyes as he focused on Qing Yi whose aura started violently fluctuating as she began breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

CRACK-!

As Qing Yi’s aura seemed to have reached its peak, a loud cracking sound echoed out across the small valley. Signalling that the golden core floating around inside her dantian had started the process of breaking apart and the birth of her nascent soul was imminent.

Bang!

Only a few minutes later, Qing Yi’s expression was filled with pain as her core fully broke apart. However, the pain only lasted for a split second, as it all disappeared the moment a small nascent soul appeared at the centre of her dantian following her core being broken.

The newly born nascent soul was so small and weak that it looked like a small wind could blow it away, but at the same time, a terrifying aura could clearly be felt from within the depths of this small and seemingly weak nascent soul.

Swish~

Knowing that the Cloud Tribulation, that she had seen Chu Yang go through after he had broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm, would soon descend, Qing Yi used the limited time she had left to observe the appearance of her nascent soul.

Gazing upon her nascent soul, Qing Yi could not help feeling awestruck by its beauty. Different from an ordinary nascent soul, her nascent soul shone like a bright flame, making it look like a small human shaped sun had appeared in the middle of her dantian. Not only that, but she could clearly feel that her innate divine physique had strengthened following the birth of her nascent soul.

If she had been at the early stage of the Small Sun Realm of her divine physique before this, she had now managed to reach the middle stage of the Small Sun Realm!

Although this could only be considered an increase by a minor realm, Qing Yi could clearly feel that the strength of her body had increased by several times and at the same time, her connection to the Dao of Fire seemed to have become even stronger than before!

RUMBLE~!

Just at this moment, a loud rumbling sound echoed out across the small valley, causing Qing Yi to turn her attention away from her nascent soul and on to the large cloud filled with lightning that had rapidly began to gather above her.

Different from the ordinary bronze, silver and gold coloured cloud tribulations, the one gathering above her was made up of all kinds of different coloured clouds that gathered together into a single massive rainbow coloured cloud that flashed with all kinds of different coloured lightning.

”Looks like I will also have to endure a special cloud tribulation like Chu Yang…” Smiling wryly to herself as she said this while looking up at the rainbow coloured cloud that was growing larger and larger above her, Qing Yi began preparing herself for the cloud tribulation to descend.

BOOOOOM-!

Not giving her more than a few seconds to prepare after it had finished absorbing all of the different coloured clouds, a loud clap of thunder echoed through the surroundings as a rainbow coloured bolt of lighting descended towards Qing Yi sitting on the ground below.

”Ahhh-!”

Like what had happened to Chu Yang when he had been faced with his cloud tribulation, Qing Yi could only let out a painful cry as she felt her entire body being ripped apart by the powerful lightning. The only difference between her and Chu Yang, was the fact that her body was in a slightly better state due to her powerful innate divine physique…

Whoosh~!

Not waiting for Qing Yi to recover, the rainbow coloured cloud floating in the air above her rapidly descended towards her while at the same time shrinking down to the size of her head before forcefully entering her body before appearing directly in front of her newly born nascent soul-

”Ahh-!”

Not wasting a single second before it started the process of merging together with her nascent soul, Qing Yi soon felt the soul tearing pain from the small rainbow coloured cloud that had now shrunk down to the size of an apple merging together with her nascent soul.

However, this was only the beginning, as part of the rainbow-coloured cloud split off and transformed into a large sea of energy that rapidly filled up her dantian before spreading to the rest of her body to begin the process of refining her body from that of a Core Formation Realm cultivator into that of a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator.

”AAAAAHHHHH-!”

Of course, the pain brought about by this transformation only made it worse, causing Qing Yi to let out a pain filled scream at the increase in pain from having her body forcefully reconstructed by the energy from the rainbow cloud. Even worse, the pain only increased due to the fact that her body was far stronger than Chu Yang’s when he had broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm. Making the energy coursing through her meridians from her dantian spend far longer time between each reconstruction.
