Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Shaking his head as he tried to forget about those wasteful beast tamers, Xuan Hao jumped into the air before heading towards Feng Chen’s pavilion to ask him about the entrance to the mystic realm located on his mountain peak.

Even if Feng Chen had no idea about the entrance to the mystic realm, he should be able to dig up something about it from the sect’s records going back over a thousand years… If that did not yield any information, Xuan Hao would have to search for information about the mystic realm by himself.

Above all, there was no way he would just randomly send his disciples into such a dangerous place without at least having any knowledge about the dangers lurking inside. Trusting the information that he had gained after clashing with the formation was not really something he wanted to bet his disciples lives on...!

Sending in someone other than his disciples was also something that he wanted to avoid… Not only because he didn’t want to end up causing the death of the Flying Sword Sect’s few Nascent Soul Realm Experts, but also because if there really was a powerful inheritance waiting inside the mystic realm, he wanted one of his disciples to get it!

Selfish or not, he would prefer for one of his three disciples to get the inheritance inside the mystic realm.

Other than worrying about the mystic realm, Xuan Hao could not help looking at his system feeling a bit frustrated. At this point it had already been a few days since he had completed his main quest, but unlike the past, he did not get a new quest immediately after!

Maybe I can trigger a new main quest after completing the side quests, or maybe I can activate it with the help of the mystic realm…

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao could only end up letting out a helpless sigh in the end. No matter what, he had no control over the system and could only wait for it to activate.

Even if he didn’t get a new main quest, he still had quite a few side quests to keep him occupied.

Worrying about not having any new quests could wait until he completed them…

For now, he still had three side quests! Namely, the one requiring him to set up the qi gathering formation, the one requiring him to scatter at least on thousand interspatial rings and lastly, the one requiring him to help Chu Yang improve his sense of direction…

All in all, there was nothing for him to worry about in the short term.

Boom!

Feeling a strong aura suddenly burst out from Feng Chen’s pavilion in the distance before rushing into the sky. Instantly alarming everyone inside the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao could not help smiling to himself as he witnessed this scene.

”Hm? Seems like Feng Chen is about to exit his seclusion. How lucky!”

Whoosh!

Not waiting around for any longer, Xuan Hao directly increased his speed. Arriving in front of Feng Chen’s pavilion only a few seconds later.

”Elder Xuan!? It’s great to see you back again!”

”Oh? Zu Fei? Didn’t expect to see you waiting here.”

Feeling a bit surprised seeing Zu Fei standing in front of Feng Chen’s pavilion with a look of anticipation on her face. Wondering how she managed to arrive faster than him.

”Ah, I decided to stand guard during sect master’s seclusion!”

”I see…”

Saying this with a weird light shining in her eyes, Zu Fei looked towards the entrance of the pavilion filled with excitement.

Seeing this scene, Xuan Hao decided it was for the better not to ask about why she had decided to stand guard in front of Feng Chen’s pavilion when he was safely cultivating inside the Flying Sword Sect. Not to mention the fact that the secluded cultivation of Feng Chen should have lasted at least a few weeks!

Maybe even longer if he was in secluded cultivation during the time that he had contacted him about the future location of the Flying Sword Sect…

Whoosh~

”Elder Xuan! You are here as well!?”

”Indeed, I just returned a short time ago.”

Hearing the voice coming from behind him followed by the figure of a large man appearing at the path leading up the mountain peak that Feng Chen’s pavilion was located on top of, Xuan Hao responded calmly as he looked over towards Core Elder Wang Hu, who quickly arrived beside him and Zu Fei.

”Ah, looks like everyone are showing up after the commotion caused by Feng Chen…”

Along with an old voice coming from the path, Elder Song soon appeared as well.

Still spotting his splendid long white beard. Looking like both a wise man and a strong expert. Among all the elders of the Flying Sword Sect, Elder Song was the one who resembled what people had in mind when they thought about a strong elder from a sect! this was also one of the reasons why he had gained so many admirers over the many years he had been teaching…

His reputation had increased even more after he had reached the Nascent Soul Realm. During the time Xuan Hao had left the Flying Sword Sect together with Qing Yi, he had even taken over Zu Fei’s role as the Vice Sect master, causing his reputation to almost eclipse Feng Chen, the sect master!

”Hoho, looks like Elder Xuan is here as well, I hope you can tell me a bit about the Iron Sky Kingdom when you get some time in the future… I have always been quite curious about the kingdoms located in the core area of the Sky Empire.”

”Sure, I will pay a visit in the future when I have the time.”

Boom!

Following the short conversation with Elder Song, Xuan Hao and the rest of the core elders having gathered on Feng Chen’s mountain peak suddenly turned towards the pavilion, as an even more powerful aura erupted from inside.

Fwoosh!

Before any of the other core elders had any time to react, a terrifying sea of swords suddenly appeared around the pavilion before expanding out towards them.

Bang!

However, before the sea of swords even had a chance to touch the core elders, Xuan Hao waved his hand and supressed it with his own sword domain.

”Looks like Feng Chen managed to construct his own pseudo sword domain… Now he is only a single step away from the Domain Lord Realm!”

Muttering this to himself as he assessed the pseudo sword domain of Feng Chen that had just erupted violently around him, Xuan Hao could not help smiling approvingly, while at the same time feeling grateful that none of Feng Chen’s disciples or servants were inside the pavilion currently.

After all, Feng Chen had no control over his pseudo sword domain after successfully constructing it and needed some time to fully control it…

During this period of time, his pseudo sword domain could go out of control and accidently harm those around him and given the strength of his pseudo domain, he would have likely ended up grievously injuring all of the core elders currently present if Xuan Hao had not been around to stop it!

”What in the world!?”

”Did the sect master break through to the Domain Lord Realm!? I knew he was the reincarnation of a sword immortal the moment I saw him!”

”How scary…”

As the core elders exclaimed in surprise upon witnessing the sea of swords quickly tear apart the pavilion before slowly revealing Feng Chen hidden inside, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes after seeing their surprised faces.

Why did he not even remember these people acting five percent as surprised and awe stricken when they had been informed about him breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm!? Is it perhaps different when Feng Chen has a breakthrough!?

”Calm down, he didn’t breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm, but instead successfully constructed his pseudo domain!”

Feeling a bit irritated thinking about this, Xuan Hao did not even notice that he had unknowingly released part of his aura. Instantly causing the awe-struck core elders to quiet down.

Even Zu Fei in the process of praising Feng Chen to the high heavens looking like a lovestruck young maiden quieted down, as she bit her lips while looking towards the figure of Feng Chen with an unknown desire shinning in her eyes.

…

”Looks like I was not able to breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm. However, I was at least able to condense a pseudo domain and successfully reach the Half-Step Domain Lord Realm!”

Sitting in the middle of what had once been his pavilion, Feng Chen slowly opened his eyes as he examined his newfound strength.

”Hm? Xuan, Elder Song, Zu Fei, Elder Wang… What are all of you doing here? Huh? Where did my pavilion go…?”

Looking around himself Feng Chen first discovered Xuan Hao and the others before quickly realizing that he was no longer inside his cultivation room but was instead inside a large ruin.

”This… Ehm… Actually, you are sitting inside you pavilion…”

Stepping forward to say this, Elder Song smiled wryly before explaining what had happened.

”What!? I destroyed my pavilion!?”
