Chapter 217: Chapter 174 Wen Ruan, Xie Shuyu_2 Chapter 217: Chapter 174 Wen Ruan, Xie Shuyu_2 Glimmer Coffee headquarters didn’t have a large staff, just over 50 people, and most of them were in business support positions.

The pay wasn’t high, but the work was relaxed, and women made up more than 60% of the workforce.

There were only a handful of male colleagues, and not a single one to show off.

Previously, the appearance of Tang Song’s photo had shocked them deeply, and they had been looking forward to seeing him in person.

At the bar in the break area, Tang Song had just sat down when he noticed several female colleagues approaching.

While making coffee, they stole glances at him and occasionally whispered amongst themselves.

“Tap tap tap—” Rapid footsteps sounded.

Immediately after, Li Xiaomin briskly entered the break area.

She came up to him and said enthusiastically, “Tang Song, you got here so early today, come on, President Xie had arranged a workstation for you before, I’ll take you there.”

“Okay, thank you, Sister Min.”

Tang Song stood up and followed her, feeling a bit surprised, as he hadn’t expected the company to arrange a workstation for a part-time tech like him.

Glimmer Coffee headquarters wasn’t very large, probably only three to four hundred square meters in size.

They had walked only a short distance when they reached a separate office, located right opposite Shuyu’s office. It had only four workstations and was very spacious.

Li Xiaomin pointed to a spot by the window and said, “This is your seat, your office supplies are all in the storage cabinet.”

“Okay.” Tang Song nodded, placed his backpack down, and sat in the office chair.

The desk was clean, with a brand-new laptop on it, next to a blue mug, a Glimmer Coffee themed calendar, a file rack…

Besides that, there was a tender green potted plant in the corner.

Tang Song rummaged through the storage cabinet below and found an employee badge, a signing pen, sticky notes, a mouse, and other commonly used office supplies.

It was clear that Shuyu truly admired him. All that was missing was her saying outright that she wanted to poach him to work there.

Li Xiaomin picked up the mug from his desk and asked with a smile, “Would you like anything to drink? We have coffee, tea, juice…”

“Coffee is fine, thank you.”

Li Xiaomin gave an OK gesture and quickly walked out.

Regarding the company’s part-time technician, she was extremely enthusiastic.

Not only because of Tang Song’s own remarkable skills but also because of President Xie’s attitude.

Having worked with this boss for so long, she had never seen her admire an employee so much.

Furthermore, thinking about the affectionate gestures between Tang Song and President Xie in the car, as well as the other’s impressive looks and bearing,

Li Xiaomin laughed to herself, thinking he might well become her boss in the future.

Tang Song sat at his workstation, sipping coffee and waiting for Shuyu.

Looking out at Building B, a thought crossed his mind.

He hadn’t seen Wen Ruan for several days and wondered if this “big sister” had finished with her work.

He took out his phone and sent her a message: “Guess where I am?”

After a while, “buzz buzz buzz—”

[Wen Ruan: “I guess you are right here.”]

Since there was no one in the office, Tang Song discreetly opened the photo.

It seemed to have been taken in the company bathroom, as one could see the tiles and wooden boards behind her.

Two buttons of her shirt were undone, revealing a deep cleavage.

After zooming in for a better look, Tang Song took a deep breath and replied, “Okay, big sis, you’re right. I’m already inside.”

He was just about to continue flirting with big sister.

There was a “knock knock knock” at the door. Tang Song hurriedly put away his phone and sat up straight.

Then, Shuyu walked in, dressed in a silk stocking dress, smiling radiantly at him, “Good morning, Song. Sorry to keep you waiting so long. I didn’t expect you to arrive so early.”

Tang Song stood up and responded, “Good morning, Suyu. No worries, I haven’t been here long myself.”

The scent of a light and sweet perfume filled the air.

Shuyu gracefully approached and sat down at the workstation next to him, “Did you have breakfast?”

Unlike her usual intellectual and aloof demeanor, Shuyu now appeared very approachable, her eyes warm and smiling at him.

“Yes, I did. My schedule is very regular. I eat on time every day.” Tang Song met her gaze openly and confidently, without any sign of shyness.

After a brief chat about daily life and Shuyu expressing concern about his work,

she started, “I wanted to see you today mainly for two things. First, we’re going to start the mini-program marketing activities. I’ve contacted the planning company, and we’ll have a meeting later to discuss. See if you can achieve the effects they’ve mentioned. And the second thing…”

She paused before continuing, “There’s a private business gathering on Saturday. The attendees are all esteemed individuals in their respective fields. I want to take you there to experience it, if you’re interested?”

Tang Song was slightly startled, then a pleased smile appeared on his face, “Of course I’m interested, thank you, Suyu.”

From Shuyu’s invitation and attitude, it was evident that she genuinely treated him like a close friend and also wanted to help him reach higher circles and improve himself.

This came at a perfect time as he had the task of building a “social life” and it was killing two birds with one stone.

He had originally planned to go through Gathering Emotion Gold or Huashang Clothing to progress but didn’t expect to find a breakthrough from Shuyu.

It was an unexpected joy.

Shuyu nodded lightly, leaned back slightly, resting her arm on the armrest, and crossed her slender and lustrous legs lightly.

In a soft voice, she said, “Have you ever heard of the concept of ‘weak ties’?”

Tang Song nodded, “I have. I’m currently reading Stephen Covey’s ‘The most important in life.’ It emphasizes the importance of weak ties and how to manage interpersonal relationships for long-term benefits.”
