Chapter 768: The Balance of the Great World, Stay Steady and Don’t Be Reckless

Antares told a story. Lin Moyu listened attentively.

In the great world, there is a very powerful race. Their strength lies in their talents, and this race calls themselves the Chosen Race.

From birth, members of the Chosen Race can awaken a talent.

By adulthood, they can awaken at least five talents, and the strongest can awaken seven or even eight talents.

These powerful and numerous talents allow them to easily challenge opponents of higher levels.

Being invincible at the same level is as simple as eating and drinking for this race.

If things continued this way, when everyone reached the super god, true god, or even higher levels, the Chosen Race, with their various talents, would still be invincible at the same level, even able to instantly kill enemies of the same level. In this way, it would not be surprising for them to become the strongest race in the great world.

But this situation changed after level 90.

Different races have different names for levels before the super god level, and Antares explained it in terms Lin Moyu could understand.

After level 90, the effect of talents begins to weaken.

As strength increases, the effect of talents also weakens.

Until finally, the door to the talent world completely closes, and talents no longer have any impact on strength.

Everyone returns to the same starting line.

At the same level, who is strong and who is weak still depends on individual understanding and control of power.

This is the so-called balance.

With Antares’ explanation, Lin Moyu immediately understood.

In the great world, there seems to be an invisible force maintaining the balance of the entire great world.

No one can dominate alone, and there is no absolutely powerful race.

Antares said, “Do you know who came up with the method to extract talents?”

Lin Moyu said, “It must be them.”

Antares chuckled, “That’s right, but unfortunately, blessings and misfortunes are intertwined, and the result was unexpected for everyone.”

Lin Moyu thought for a moment, “If I’m not mistaken, the Chosen Race was almost exterminated, right?”

“Smart!” Antares couldn’t help but praise, “How did you guess?”

Lin Moyu said, “The strong individuals of various races in the great world would not allow an absolutely powerful race to appear. You also mentioned the need for balance.”

Antares nodded, “Indeed, the Chosen Race was almost exterminated, and their strongest ancestor was besieged and fell.”

“In the end, the Chosen Race revealed the method to retain talents, which allowed them to survive.”

Lin Moyu pondered for a few seconds and slowly said, “It shouldn’t be that simple. The strong individuals of various races must have imposed restrictions on the Chosen Race. If another invincible talent emerges from their race…”

Antares’ eyes lit up, “You really are a freak to think of this. Indeed, although the various races superficially let the Chosen Race go, they actually confined them.”

Lin Moyu sighed, the great world is as cruel as imagined.

Possessing a treasure can be a crime, and a tree that stands out in the forest will be destroyed by the wind.

The Chosen Race might have been too high-profile.

If they had hidden their strength and acted in secret.

When a large number of invincible strong individuals emerged from their race, relying on their talents, they might have truly been able to dominate all races.

Antares said so much to tell Lin Moyu two principles.

First is the word “balance.” Currently, the great world, whether its own will or various races, follows this principle.

The Chosen Race is the best example. No matter how strong or good the talents are, they will eventually disappear.

Although they found a special method to solve this problem, they almost faced extermination.

Blessings and misfortunes are intertwined, and fate is indeed mysterious.

Secondly, it is to be low-key.

Whether as an individual or a race, do not be too ostentatious before having absolute strength.

Stay steady and don’t be reckless, or the waves of the great world will surely swallow you.

Antares told Lin Moyu the method to retain talents.

“Alright, you can start comprehending the laws now.”

“The process of comprehending the laws is also the process of refining your soul.”

“Remember, the soul is the foundation of everything, for all races.”

“I’ll take a nap first, call me if you need anything.”

After giving a final warning, Antares slowly closed his eyes.

Comprehending the laws is not a matter of a day or two, it takes years.

In the soul world, the bone and summoning spells each formed two multi-star spell systems.

At their centers, laws were also condensing.

Lin Moyu began to observe and comprehend.

The Eye of the Soul opened, and soul power flowed out, slowly enveloping the laws.

He comprehended every bit of it.

The benefits of law manifestation were obvious, and a large amount of profound knowledge about the laws came one after another.

Lin Moyu’s soul was immediately immersed in it.

The feeling was wonderful, completely different from when he had previously sensed the laws.

Every bit of comprehension was countless times deeper.

Time passed day by day, and Lin Moyu was unaware of it.

In the human world, the army was gathering.

This time, not only the army was mobilized, but also a large number of professionals.

Those guilds, dungeon teams, and civilian organizations, etc.

Anyone who wanted to go could go.

This time, going to the Dragon Race was not about conquering cities and territories, but a war of extermination.

It was a war between races.

No prisoners were needed, and there was no sympathy.

Kill on sight, it’s either them or us.

Naturally, the Shenxia Empire could not bear this burden alone.

After all, it concerned the entire human race, so other countries also participated.

Meng Anwen, as the only god-level array master among the human race, and a high-level god-level array master at that, set up a large number of teleportation arrays.

At this moment, the Shenxia Empire truly displayed its power to the world.

Meng Anwen, Bai Yiyuan, Ning Tairan, Mo Xinghai, Feng Xiu, Ye Hao…

One high-level god after another appeared before the world.

They were surrounded by laws, high and mighty, truly gods among men.

The strength of the Shenxia Empire silenced all other forces and countries.

While other countries were still counting how many god-level individuals they had, the Shenxia Empire already had a batch of high-level gods.

One high-level god was enough to suppress all other countries and forces, let alone more than one.

The Shenxia Empire had truly become the number one country among the human race, the true king.

Meng Anwen stood in the air, with the Shenxia Tower slowly rotating above his head.

On the ground, twelve giant cross-realm teleportation arrays occupied a large area. These giant cross-realm teleportation arrays were super large, each occupying a range of a thousand meters.

The twelve arrays formed a circle, emitting a faint glow.

Outside the teleportation arrays, countless people and horses gathered.

A dense mass of people, impossible to see the end.

Closest to the teleportation arrays were the Shenxia Empire’s army, followed by various professionals and forces. Meng Anwen’s eyes were like lightning, “Activate the teleportation!”

Accompanied by a rumbling sound, the twelve teleportation arrays operated simultaneously.

Huge beams of light shot into the sky, illuminating the heavens.

The twelve beams of light shot out like sharp swords, landing on the Shenxia Tower.

The Shenxia Tower gathered the energy of the twelve giant teleportation arrays and suddenly expanded.

It emitted a strong aura of laws, and the array laws manifested.

An incredibly terrifying power swept out, making everyone within a thousand miles feel suffocated, as if a mountain was pressing down on them.

Meng Anwen’s fingertips released runes, each carrying the aura of laws.

Finally, a seemingly insignificant beam of law light shot out from the top of the Shenxia Tower.

A black hole appeared in the sky, revealing the world of the Dragon Race.

“Advance!”
