Catastrophic necromancer

Chapter 359: New Skill: Wings of Lightning

In the sea of thunderclouds, countless lightning bolts struck Lin Moyu. The skeletal armor on Lin Moyu’s body flickered with electric light, and his entire body emitted a blue glow.

The lightning attacks were not weak, especially after the dungeon was upgraded to hell difficulty.

Through the reaction of the skeletal armor, Lin Moyu could basically judge the strength of the lightning attacks.

Now he had a clear understanding of each profession.

A level 50 knight, with extreme defense, and at least two healers, could possibly retrieve the pearl from the sea of lightning.

Lin Moyu walked to the center of the sea of lightning and reached out to grasp the pearl.

At the moment of grasping the pearl, the sea of lightning instantly went into chaos.

Countless lightning bolts surged from all directions, pouring into the pearl.

In the blink of an eye, the sea of lightning disappeared, and the pearl emitted a blue glow.

Inside the pearl, lightning flickered, looking extremely beautiful from the outside.

[Lightning Gem: Permanently immune to 50% of electric elemental damage, with a chance to gain an electric skill.] Lin Moyu took a deep breath and activated the Lightning Gem.

His entire body turned into an electric man again, with a large amount of lightning falling around, creating small pits on the ground.

He did not expect to gain an electric skill, as increasing his immunity to electric elements by 50% was already quite good.

After a minute, the electric light surrounding Lin Moyu showed no signs of weakening, but instead grew stronger.

Then, all the lightning gathered behind Lin Moyu, forming a pair of huge wings.

[Acquired Skill: Wings of Lightning]

[Wings of Lightning: Grants the ability to fly for 1 minute, cooldown time 10 minutes.]

The lightning disappeared, and Lin Moyu’s face showed a burst of joy.

He did not expect to actually master a new skill.

Wings of Lightning, it sounded pretty good.

Although it could only fly for 1 minute, it was still flight.

“I wonder how fast it is!”

With a thought, he activated the skill.

Accompanied by the crackling sound of electric currents, a pair of wings over five meters wide appeared behind Lin Moyu. Without any visible movement of the wings, Lin Moyu shot out.

Looking at the shrinking ground and the traces left by the collapsed valley.

In an instant, he covered a thousand meters, like teleportation.

Fast, too fast!

A thousand meters in less than 1 second.

At this speed, Lin Moyu felt he could attack or retreat at will.

A 1-minute duration was enough for him to cover hundreds of kilometers.

Another fruitful harvest.

Lin Moyu, filled with joy, flew rapidly in the air with the Wings of Lightning, enjoying the thrill of high-speed flight.

In the dungeon, thunderclouds roared and lightning rumbled, and Lin Moyu shuttled back and forth among the thunderclouds.

The Wings of Lightning behind him sparkled with electric currents.

At this moment, Lin Moyu was like a thunder god descending to the world, making people’s hearts tremble.

After 1 minute, the skill disappeared, and Lin Moyu descended from the sky.

The Wings of Lightning also vanished without a trace.

For some reason, the overall enhancement talent did not seem to have any effect on the Wings of Lightning.

It could still only fly for one minute.

From past experiences, the overall enhancement talent had an effect on most skills, with only a few exceptions.

For example, the Strong Soldier skill formed by the Primordial Rune, and the Blessing of Light brought by the Light Gem, did not have corresponding enhancements.

If it was said that this skill could not be enhanced because it was brought by the gem.

But the Poison Gem did produce an enhancement.

Very strange.

Lin Moyu could not figure out the reason.

In the end, he could only let it be.

In front of him was a swamp.

Thunder Swamp!

The swamp was like ponds of various sizes, densely distributed in front of him.

The swamps formed a winding path.

Lightning intertwined in the swamp, splashing mud.

Whether on the path or in the swamp, there were many monsters.

[Thunder Lizard (Hell-level Elite Monster)]

[Level: 47]

[Strength: 40000]

[Agility: 20000]

[Mental: 40000]

[Constitution: 50000]

[Skill: Lightning Attack]

[Feature: Reduces electric elemental damage by 50%, reduces physical damage by 50%, speed enhancement]

They were no longer purely electric elemental monsters, and were no longer completely immune to physical damage.

For Lin Moyu, the skeletal berserkers and skeletal archers could now be effective.

As for the attributes of the monsters, they were not very strong for Lin Moyu.

The undead army charged into the Thunder Swamp, with berserkers taking on the monsters on the path.

Mages and archers dealt with the monsters in the swamp.

The swamp was about ten kilometers deep. When he was in the air earlier, he could have flown over it. But Lin Moyu did not do so, as he would have missed something.

Previous experiences told him that besides the Lightning Gem, there should be a key and an item that could awaken the Thunder God in this electric elemental dungeon.

As for the crystal fragments of the electric element, they could be obtained by killing the final boss, so there was no need to search for them deliberately.

Lin Moyu was clear about this, especially the key and the item to awaken the Thunder God, which could only be obtained once.

He was not 100% sure he could get these two items on the first try.

So he made the request that no one else could enter until he was done.

As he advanced along the path in the swamp, Lin Moyu also searched around.

Not missing any details.

Soon, the undead army reached the center of the swamp.

There was a large thunder swamp, much larger than all the other small swamps.

In the center of the thunder swamp, thunderclouds gathered, and lightning continuously struck a certain point.

Through the lightning, Lin Moyu saw a plant.

Upon closer inspection, he found that the plant was not being struck by lightning:

But the plant itself was releasing lightning, forming the thunderclouds.

The moment he saw it, Lin Moyu thought of the Fire God Flower in the Fire God Temple dungeon.

“Found it.”

With a thought, the Wings of Lightning, which had finished cooling down, instantly spread out.

A pair of wings with lightning appeared behind him, carrying Lin Moyu towards the plant.

In the blink of an eye, Lin Moyu was above the plant and reached out to grab it.

Terrifying lightning surged into the sky, and a giant hand reached out from the lightning, slamming down on Lin Moyu.

Lin Moyu had anticipated this, as it was normal for a monster to guard the plant.

The giant hand, wrapped in lightning, came crashing down, and the Wings of Lightning trembled slightly, speeding up to avoid it.

Then, he quickly changed position in mid-air, bypassed the giant hand, and grabbed the plant.

The plant in his hand crackled with terrifying lightning.

The skeletal armor shone brightly, and even through the armor, Lin Moyu could feel the power of the lightning.

Even a knight would be seriously injured on the spot.

But other teams would not think of doing this, they would definitely kill the guardian monster first, and then take the plant.

As Lin Moyu pulled up the plant, the thunder swamp erupted.

Lin Moyu held onto the plant and quickly flew towards the sky.

Countless lightning bolts and mud surged from the thunder swamp, rushing towards the sky.

A giant hand reached out from the mud, grabbing at Lin Moyu.

The giant hand was wrapped in lightning and moved quickly.

The Wings of Lightning trembled, and Lin Moyu accelerated again.

The giant hand missed twice and failed to catch Lin Moyu, then a giant beast shot out.

The monster looked like a gorilla, over 10 meters tall, huge.

Its limbs were very long, and could stretch even further when attacking, longer than its body.

After dodging two attacks, Lin Moyu stopped in mid-air.

The lightning on the plant in his hand quickly dissipated, and in the blink of an eye, the lightning completely disappeared, turning into an ordinary-looking plant.

[Electric Grass: Can be used to awaken the Thunder God]

“Not bad, just need the key now.”

Lin Moyu smiled slightly, put the Electric Grass in his pocket, and looked at the monster that had jumped out of the thunder swamp.

A detection skill swept over like a breeze.

[Lightning Ape (Hell-level Boss)]

[Level: 48]

[Strength: 60000]

[Agility: 40000]

[Mental: 10000]

[Constitution: 60000]

[Skills: Wings of Lightning, Thunder Giant Hand]

[Features: Reduces electric elemental damage by 50%, reduces physical damage by 50%, speed enhancement, vitality enhancement.] “It also has Wings of Lightning.” Lin Moyu was slightly surprised, but then didn’t care.

The Lightning Ape’s total attributes were only 170,000.

Each attribute was far inferior to the skeletal berserkers.

But Lin Moyu knew that if a skeletal berserker were to duel it, the berserker would lose. As a hell-level boss, its vitality was too strong.

Although its attack and defense were inferior to the skeletal berserkers, its strong vitality allowed it to last longer.

The Lightning Ape glared at Lin Moyu and roared angrily.

In its angry roar, a pair of wings appeared behind the Lightning Ape.

In the next second, it shot into the sky, appearing beside Lin Moyu in an instant, with a giant hand wrapped in lightning slamming down.

The Wings of Lightning trembled slightly, and Lin Moyu quickly dodged. Although the skeletal armor could protect him from harm, Lin Moyu did not want to take the hit.

No longer passive as before, accustomed to taking hits.

Now, Lin Moyu’s combat had become very proactive and flexible.

While dodging, the skeletons began to counterattack.

The mages’ elemental explosions and the archers’ arrows all landed on the Lightning Ape.

Lin Moyu pointed a finger, skill: Curse of Aging.

At the same time, flames danced in his palm, skill: Soul Flame.

The Lightning Ape screamed and fell from the sky.

The fully activated Soul Flame caused it unbearable pain.

The skeletal berserkers on the ground were already ready, jumping up before it landed.

The giant axes in their hands glowed red, slashing down.
