Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

58: Bazooka bombards mecha, shocking defense”Little Zhang, are you telling the truth?” Old Wang’s breathing became rapid; he truly wanted the mecha to be equipped in the military. As long as Zhang Yuanhang could prove that the mecha could indeed withstand attacks from portable weapons like rocket launchers.

Then he would spare no effort to ensure the mecha production line was established.

”Of course.”

Zhang Yuanhang nodded. The metal material formula from the System was beyond what ordinary people could imagine.

Seeing Zhang Yuanhang speak with such seriousness, Old Wang excitedly looked at China’s Top Leader, ”Leader, why don’t we test it out?”

China’s Top Leader looked at the mecha in front of him, pondered for a moment, and finally nodded.

”Go prepare some rocket launchers. We’ll use them for the test.”

The reason for using rocket launchers for the test was that, in China’s Top Leader’s opinion, if the test failed, the mecha would not suffer large-scale damage. Moreover, the Shancheng Military Base was not suitable for testing large-scale weapons.

”I’ll arrange it right away.”

Leader Jia, seeing that China’s Top Leader had agreed, turned and jogged to inform the soldiers to prepare the rocket launchers.

China’s Top Leader took advantage of this lull to approach Zhang Yuanhang, ”Little Zhang, where do you think this mecha would be best deployed?”

In everyone’s eyes, Zhang Yuanhang was the creator of the mecha and understood its functions and uses better, so it was very necessary for him to offer some suggestions.

”Leader, I think that at that time, the mecha could be deployed in areas with conflicts with India.”

”The mecha’s Nuclear Reactor Device can not only provide certain conveniences for the soldiers but also save some precious energy.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

Old Wang smiled at Zhang Yuanhang. Good kid, he thought the same as him.

China’s Top Leader nodded. He also found Zhang Yuanhang’s suggestion extremely reasonable.

Currently, the only major country with friction with China was India. Deploying the mecha there would also be a very advantageous measure against India.

The mecha’s Electromagnetic Oscillation Cannon could easily deal with India’s illegal military constructions.

The Arachnid and Iron Eagle from before could also fight alongside the soldiers, and the mecha could even act as a mobile fortress, directly controlling the situation!

Now, it all depended on whether the mecha’s defensive capabilities were as Zhang Yuanhang said, capable of blocking rocket launchers with its special material steel plates.

The students of Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao looked at Zhang Yuanhang and the mecha he created with worried eyes.

They had all seen the mecha’s design blueprints. The mecha’s average thickness was only one centimeter. Could it really withstand the attack of a rocket launcher?

Compared to their students’ worried expressions, the three Academicians Wu, Sun, and Zhao looked calm. After experiencing so many things, the three believed that the mecha invented by Zhang Yuanhang would have no problem against a rocket launcher.

At this moment, a military vehicle arrived, carrying rocket launchers. Seeing a whole truckload of rocket launchers, everyone present, except Zhang Yuanhang, looked at Leader Jia in bewilderment.

”Brother, we just wanted to test the mecha’s defensive capabilities, not to destroy it!”

”It feels a bit too little!” Zhang Yuanhang stood on his tiptoes, looked at the rocket launchers loaded in the back of the military vehicle, and shook his head. ”Leader Jia, why don’t we bring some more? One shot each?”

Zhang Yuanhang felt an itch to try the rocket launchers; he had never fired one before. It would be great if he could fire a few rounds.

”Enough, enough, Little Zhang, this is enough.” Lin Yun looked at Zhang Yuanhang, whose eyes were shining, and quickly pulled him aside, then kept his eyes on Zhang Yuanhang.

He was afraid Zhang Yuanhang would say, ”Let me fire a few rounds too!”

Old Wang also noticed Zhang Yuanhang, and for a moment, he felt a hint of blame towards Leader Jia. What was the point of bringing so many! ! !

Facing his superior’s sudden reproachful gaze, Leader Jia was still a bit bewildered. He had already brought a whole truckload, did Old Wang still think it was too little?

He should have brought another truckload! ! !

”Little Zhang, do we need to prepare anything?”

China’s Top Leader pointed at the mecha, indicating whether the mecha needed any preparations.

”No need, Leader, just attack directly. The mecha can completely withstand it.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

”Alright, then let’s begin.” Seeing Zhang Yuanhang speak with such confidence, China’s Top Leader nodded, signaling to Leader Jia that he could start.

”Understood, Leader.”

Leader Jia personally shouldered a launcher, and the soldiers behind him loaded the ammunition. ”I’m firing now!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Leader Jia pulled the trigger, and the warhead directly hit the mecha’s thigh.

”Bang!”

Everyone immediately picked up their binoculars hanging around their necks and carefully looked at the spot that had just been hit by the rocket launcher.

”Oh my goodness, it seems like there’s no change at all!”

”What kind of divine material did Great God Zhang Yuanhang use to create this mecha? It’s both light and hard.”

”It’s too unbelievable, simply too unbelievable.”

...Looking at the unharmed mecha, everyone was astonished. From the looks of it, the mecha could completely do as Zhang Yuanhang said and directly withstand the attack of a rocket launcher.

”Again!”

Old Wang turned to Leader Jia and said.

Leader Jia ignored his superior’s words and instead turned to look at Zhang Yuanhang. If Zhang Yuanhang didn’t speak, Leader Jia wouldn’t dare pull the trigger.

”You can continue!” Zhang Yuanhang nodded.

Having received the word from Zhang Yuanhang, the creator, Leader Jia directly pulled the trigger.

”Bang!”

The rocket launcher struck the same position again.

Everyone’s gaze once again converged on the thigh.

”Old Wang, am I seeing things? How do I feel that after being hit by two rocket launchers, the mecha’s exterior hasn’t even deformed?”

China’s Top Leader asked slowly. It was important to know that two rocket launchers hitting the same point had considerable power.

”I don’t know, someone quickly go check.”

Old Wang waved for a soldier to go up and inspect. A soldier quickly ran up and meticulously checked the spot where the mecha had been hit twice for ten minutes.

China’s Top Leader and the others waited patiently below; no one urged the soldier.

After the inspection, the soldier quickly descended from the mecha.

Old Wang and the others jogged to the soldier, asking nervously, ”How is it? Is there any deformation on the mecha’s surface?”

”Reporting, Leader, there are no changes.”

”The part hit by the rocket launcher is exactly the same as the surrounding areas that were not hit.”

The soldier immediately reported the findings of his inspection to everyone.

”Good, good, good!”

Old Wang smiled very happily, his hands clapped until they were red, and his mouth was smiling so wide it almost reached the back of his head.

Judging from the current situation, the matter of equipping the military with mecha could be considered a foregone conclusion.
