Beyond M-Eclipse: Easy Mode LIVE

*Parry* *Block* *Smack* *Knee* *Crash*

“Argh!” Getting all of my attacks countered and then a hit to the head and a knee to the stomach, sending me crashing into the wall of light.

“Seems like that is your limit for today.” She said, sounding slightly bored.

*Shine*

The wall dissipates and a healing light shines on me. Honestly I didn’t get much done this time around. I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten stronger, but…

“The result looks about the same, but I can tell you’ve been getting stronger.” She casually mentioned as she looked at the result screen. “It’s simply that my rate of improvement is superior to yours, so you simply couldn’t catch up in terms of raw power, or perhaps even in terms of learning and improving techniques.”

“Really helping with my confidence there.” I said, not actually as bitter as that sarcastic comment may suggest. “Is everyone in that class as much of a freak of nature as you?”

“Hmm… I believe only one surpassed me in that regard, but it’s just my instinct talking.” She vaguely said. “But the others should not fall far behind in that regard nonetheless. Even our resident nerds could fold you like paper if they wanted to.”

“That’s hard to imagine…” I said while scratching the back of my head. I know everyone said that class is full of people who are both stronger and smarter than literally everyone here, but surely there’s at least not that big of a gap.

“Hey, get out of our way, we have business with that chick.” Huh? What is it now? Why are there like ten guys here?

“The hell is going on?” I said, bewildered at the sight. I don’t really recognize them, maybe they’re the juniors or new students?

“Move out of the way already!” The guy in the front said, looking like he’s about to throw hands.

“Just humor them.” Emmie said, not even a little bit bothered. Alright then, if that’s what she wants. I guess I’ll go sit next to Glery who probably looks a bit more concerned than I am at this moment. “So what business do all of you have with me?”

“Simple. We’re gonna beat the shit out of you.” Never have I heard something so ludicrous. Are these guys for real? No matter how you look at it they sound like a bunch of fools right now.

“Oh? Coming at me all at once? That’s quite a bold way to say you know you are all individually inadequate.” Emmie said with a chuckle.

“Why-!” That guy stops his outburst fast enough before he says something cliche. “You won’t be laughing by the end of this! For all the times you humiliate us!”

“Whatever. Let’s get this over with.” Emmie said before walking over to the control panel, not caring about their motive rant.

*Dash*

However, they start to ambush her before she could start up the sequence.

*Evade*

“A bit hasty, aren’t you?” She casually said while avoiding the encirclement. “Or are you all just afraid of getting boxed in? The battle area still has plenty of space to fight in regardless, you know?”

“Shut the hell up!” One of them said, still going after her despite going against the etiquette. They know the control panel here doesn’t have a healing option not related to a match right? It’s designed like that so students are more incentivised using the match system instead of just doing stuff more informally with zero plan and foresight.

*Grab* *Swing* *Crash*

She grabbed one of them by the arm and swung him towards a wall, which while doesn’t leave even a tiny crack on it, just knocks the guy out completely.

They all look rather bewildered at such a violent display of strength, but weren’t they asking for it in the first place?

“What? Scared?” She said, further mocking them with a rather cruel-looking grin. “You guys are no fun at all.”

She then simply chooses to walk away, not even bothering to attack them, choosing to slowly walk to the teleporter and go elsewhere.

“Get the hell back here!” One of them shouted before all of them quickly tried to swarm her again.

*Glare* *Launch* *Crash*

“Argh!” She turned around with a menacing glare and some sort of technique that launched them all back, scattering them across the room. What the hell is that attack!?

“Looks you all changed your mind. Very well then.” She said with a small grin. Is she not going to leave after all?

“You bitch! Everyone! Stop messing around and attack!” One guy shouted out, being the first to recover and ready to pounce, seemingly ignoring how the others were still in shock over the sudden turn of events.

*Dash* *Grab* *Scrape*

Not giving them any more grace period, she ran towards one of the guys who was the last to recover his footing, grabbing him by the back of his head and dragged his head against the wall. I can’t really tell how hard she was bashing his head, these walls are insanely durable anyway, so even if she was aiming to crush his head like a grape, the wall will remain pristine.

*Throw* *Crash*

She then threw him towards the first guy who got countered and now lay unconscious on the floor, piling on top of each other.

As for the second guy, aside from a bruise there doesn’t seem to be much damage, which is quite surprising. Maybe his neck is also messed up.

“S-Should we leave?” Glery quietly asked while the others chose to ignore the brutality this time around.

“And be in the crossfire? Hell no.” We better off just sitting here and letting the chaos settle itself out. The last thing I want to do is get in the way of this raging mad woman.

*Evade* *Kick*

“Agh!” She dodges a few punches coming her way before countering one of the attacks with a kick right at a guy’s arm, probably hitting near his elbow, making him recoil back due to pain, but not quite putting him out of commission.

*Smack* *Crash*

She unceremoniously backhanded someone within the chaos and sent him flying back and crashing into the wall. Did she slip up or…

“Why the hell is she so strong!?” One of them complained. I mean, what else were you expecting from someone from a group of people everyone in the school already accepted as a group of those who are born winners. They are a bunch of talented freaks who are on a different level from us entirely.

*Grab* *Throw* *Crash*

Next she chose to throw another person, but this time throwing the guy right up to the ceiling and crashing into it.

*Grab* *Throw* *Crash*

She then takes another person and throws him right at the guy who was about to fall down, crashing and bouncing off each other from the force of the throw. This room is pretty damn big and tall, so it took a lot of force to throw something or someone hard enough to reach the ceiling.

**Thud**

They both fall down to the ground. I’m surprised they’re not bleeding out everywhere considering how strong each impact should be. Maybe it’s just that everyone has gotten more resilient since the Eclipse? I feel like they should all be bleeding out somewhere at this point.

*Evade* *Punch*

She casually side-stepped an incoming punch before slowly approaching that guy from the side and punching him right in the stomach, also taking him out.

“How!? We didn’t let you rig anything!” One of the remaining six guys started bitching. What the hell does he mean by rig?

“Rig? What is there to rig? Speak with some sophistry.” Emmie mockingly said while shrugging her shoulders, also having no idea what the hell they are talking about.

“Don’t fucking lie to us! You must have rig those battle systems somehow to boost yourself up!” One of them cried out. So that’s what that was about. Indeed, there is a way to add extra settings to a match, like boosting your power or constant healing throughout the fight to make sure it lasts longer or level the playing field. Emmie isn’t the type of person to do that, she has no reason to add those extra settings when she is already so powerful.

So that’s why they were trying to jump her before she could initiate a match. They think she was a dishonest crook who gave herself many advantages during the match, never knowing that the system would never allow it, or at least would make such a thing clear and easy to notice.

*Grab*

“Ug- Argh!” Emmie then grabbed that person by the throat and lifted him up as he tried to struggle out of it with no success, she didn’t even shake a little bit as he tried to use every ounce of strength he had to get out of the grip.

“[Fireba-” One of them was about to cast a spell before seeing Emmie holding that guy in front of her as a human shield, causing him to understandably halt the process.

“Well. I don’t need such a dirty tactic anyway.” Emmie said, seeing their reactions.

*Kick* *Crash*

Right after dropping him she kicks him away, hitting another person in the process and leaving them with just four active fighters remaining. Of course some of them probably aren’t that injured to the point of being unable to get up, but by then they’d be the only person remaining. Let’s be real here, do you want to be the lone fighter against such an insurmountable wall? I sure don’t.

Also, they can’t even tank an attack. At least I can still stand after taking one of those. What a bunch of wimps these guys are, no wonder they need to team up to stand a- Scratch that, to give an illusion of having a chance.

*Dash* *Punch* *Smash* *Kick* *Stomp*

In a short time frame of no less than five seconds, she closed the distance between here and the last four, hitting one with a punch, another with a fist swung right to his head like a sledgehammer, another a kick to the chin, and the last one a foot to the chest. All attacks have enough force to send them packing.

“Ugh… Agh…” They can barely even mutter a sound, some of them clinging to any sense of hope at this point. Realistically, despite how hard they were hit, it was an attack without any intention to kill, and it was only one blow at the end of the day.

Some of them managed to get back up and look at her with a mix of hatred and fear, something she obviously expected and let happen.

“To be honest. If only all of you showed a bit more sportsmanship, I would have entertained you guys with something more flashy and forgiving.” Emmie said, and she is probably not kidding about it. Even if their intent is about the same, she would probably have gone easier on them just on that fact alone, since regardless of it all, the gap between them is so big that she could afford to play around.

*Dim*

Five bullets appeared behind her, looking like they were made out of pure darkness. She pointed at the remaining guys with her index finger. “Bang.”

*Bang* *Crash*

All five bullets immediately honed in on them and hit them right in the chest, sending them all flying straight towards the wall and pinning them on it for a few seconds before disappearing, leaving them to flop down to the ground, clearly unconscious.

“Well. It was an okay side distraction, I suppose.” She said, probably to the two of us, since the others are either unconscious or are still reeling in pain from… Hold on.

That’s weird, there seems to be some sort of mana fluctuation from one of the guys on the floor here. Someone here still has a trick up his sleeve.

“Hmm… Perhaps this will be a better fight than I thought.” Emmie said, clearly not sounding pressed despite the fluctuating power reading that is between lower than mine to over double of mine.

“Uah… Aa…” One guy got back up, his body still limping from the lingering pain. His appearance is rather mild, but his current action and what I am feeling right now is definitely betraying that look. “UUUGGAAHHH!!!”

I felt goosebumps as suddenly his form began to change!

*Rip*

His plain shirt was ripped up as his body is hulking up to a massive size, his hair getting longer and wilder while turning deep red in color.

“T-That is-!” Glery sounds confused and frightened as she seems to realize what is going on.

“I figured you were hiding amongst the students here, what a pleasant surprise. I thought you’d be a bit more… patient, before revealing such a trump card.” Emmie said without an ounce of fear in her tone. What is this power I am sensing!?

“AAGGHHH!!!” He screamed out loudly as two golden horns protruded out of his skull, his body being very muscular and having an expression of a man who seems to have lost his mind, and is now staring at Emmie, clearly not looking to have a nice chat.

“It’s him…” Glery muttered quietly.

Indeed. It is him. The mysterious hulking beast that attacked the Perfect Class seven months ago. The one who went missing after being subjugated by Wiina. The one who was later nicknamed as ‘Krusher’.
