Be Gentle, My Master

“Well,” seeing Baili Xia still giving him looks continuously, Fan Yi had no choice but to clear his throat and explain.

“The eldest son of Bei Family was indeed feeling a bit unwell last night, Miss Xiaxia came to take care of him.”

Baili Xia let out a sigh of relief, but unexpectedly, just as she relaxed, Fan Yi uttered another shocking statement.

“But…

well, I wasn’t around the eldest son of Bei Family last night, as for what the eldest son of Bei Family and Miss Xiaxia did in the room, I…

honestly don’t know.”

“Fan Yi, what nonsense are you talking about!” Baili Xia was stunned, did Fan Yi take the wrong medication or something?

By saying this, isn’t he implying they did something indecent?

This damned Fan Yi, usually seeming not too stupid, how could he drop the ball at a critical moment?

Could it be that he is doing it on purpose?

Seeing Baili Xia so anxious that she’s sweating even in the cold winter, Bei Tianyou finally waved his hand, motioning her to come over.

Baili Xia didn’t understand his intentions, but she could only walk over and stand beside him.

“With her by my side, I can avoid taking medicine.” Bei Tianyou said, his voice flat and calm.

Old Madam’s gaze flickered, worried about hearing wrong, she asked, “What do you mean?”

“With her here, when the illness strikes, I can manage without taking medicine,” he replied.

“Really?” This unexpected news excited Old Madam, her voice rising involuntarily.

Everyone knew that Bei Tianyou had been dependent on medication since childhood, and this medication had side effects on him.

The fact that there was another way was bound to shock Old Madam.

Seeing Bei Tianyou nod, she became even more excited.

“What method did she use? It’s so miraculous!”

Bei Tianyou didn’t speak, his calm gaze landed on Baili Xia.

Baili Xia explained on his behalf: “Old Madam, I’ve been treating Brother You with acupuncture.

After a pause, she continued: “Actually, I’m not sure if it truly works for Brother You’s illness, but whenever he has an episode, acupuncture can help alleviate his symptoms, allowing him to recover without medication.”

After all, for now, acupuncture just alleviated the pain during Bei Tianyou’s episodes.

Baili Xia didn’t want Old Madam to misunderstand that she could cure Bei Tianyou’s illness.

“Of course, this method was taught by my cousin, it’s just he’s too busy at the Bei Family…”

Hmm, not sure if I should say it like this, but since Nangong Xu came to the Bei Family, he’s indeed been very busy.

Everyone needs him, seemingly trying to monopolize him.

Seeing the slight unease in Old Madam’s eyes, Baili Xia cleared her throat and changed the subject.

“My cousin doesn’t have much time, can’t always stay with Brother You, on the contrary, I have more free time, so I’ve been taking care of Brother You more.”

“Very good, very good.” Although a hint of disappointment flashed in Old Madam’s eyes, as she acknowledged the method might not truly cure Tianyou.

But looking at Baili Xia, her gaze was still full of delight.

“Relieving his symptoms is already great, those drugs are harmful to the body, if possible, don’t take them anymore.”

After speaking, Old Madam patted the sofa beside her: “Come, come, sit here.”

Old Madam’s change in attitude completely shocked Nangong Yun.

This damned girl just said a few words, yet, completely changed the entire situation!

She originally thought that this time, she could definitely ruin her!

The eldest son of Bei Family, how could he let her invade!
