Be Gentle, My Master

Mu Xiaojiu never liked taking medicine.

Whenever he fell ill, he’d either apply some topical ointment or just endure it for a few days until he got better.

Today, he didn’t know what had happened, but after eating some hot and sour noodles, he ended up tormented, which really damaged his imposing and robust image.

Even more so, he let this girl give him a shot in the buttocks.

But now, the girl was feeding him medicine with her lips, and the taste was indescribably complex.

As he swallowed the medicine, when it slid past his throat, the sharp pain spread instantly.

However, the pain was never as terrifying as the bitterness.

He was truly afraid of the bitter taste, but her lips were so enticing…

He wanted to keep kissing her, but Baili Xia, after making sure he had swallowed the medicine, immediately raised her head and let go of him.

Under his slightly protesting gaze, she picked up the medicine bottle from the bedside table.

After taking another mouthful, her thin lips pressed down again, cradling his face, entangling with him in every possible way.

When Mu Xiaoyao walked through the door, this was the scene he saw.

Although he couldn’t make out exactly what the two were doing, the sight of Baili Xia pressing down on Uncle, their movements suggestive, made him instinctively shut the door behind him.

He had only walked a few steps when he made out their actions clearly.

This girl…

was using her mouth to feed Uncle medicine.

When he saw the four lips intertwined, for a moment his fingertips tensed, and his body stiffened.

So, in this world, there really was such a way to feed someone medicine.

The medicine was definitely bitter; one could tell from Uncle’s furrowed brow.

But if the girl was the one holding the medicine in her lips to feed him, then no matter how bitter, it seemed not so hard to accept.

All of a sudden, a strange feeling rose from the depths of his heart and he felt unexpectedly…

envious of Uncle.

If he were sick, to receive such care…

He coughed lightly, dared not to look any longer, turned, and went to stand next to Nangong Xu, both of them pretending to admire some unnamed scenery outside.

It wasn’t until the couple by the bed had clearly separated, and Baili Xia began to tidy up the medicine bowl on the bedside table, that they both, with a sense of shared understanding, turned their heads back to look at them.

Baili Xia not only fed Uncle medicine but also gave him water, naturally, using the same method.

This guy refused to drink water by himself, as if he had become addicted to her lips, insisting on her feeding him even water.

Knowing full well that Brother had seen her action earlier, her face was now flushed with embarrassment.

But to avoid making everyone uncomfortable, she could only act as if nothing had happened.

Once everything was put away, even though her face was still red, she managed to appear calm.

Nangong Xu walked over and checked the IV bottle on the bedside, then turned back to look at Mu Xiaoyao.

Mu Xiaoyao nodded and said lightly, “I’ll watch him.”

“Call me when it’s time to change the IV fluid; I’ll come right over,” Nangong Xu said.

As he packed the medical box and made sure to remind him to take another dose of medicine, he said the herbal concoction he had prepared would be delivered in about half an hour.

After a round of instructions, he took his things and left.

When only three people were left in the room, Mu Xiaoyao inexplicably felt a bit awkward.

With Uncle and Baili Xia here, his presence seemed somewhat superfluous.

But since he had taken on the responsibility to watch over Uncle tonight, he had to suppress that awkwardness.

He glanced at Baili Xia: “You go to sleep, keep Uncle company while he rests.

I’ll watch the IV fluid.”

But Baili Xia looked at Mu Xiaojiu, her long finger tracing across his forehead: “You sleep first, I’ll wake you up when it’s time to take your medicine.”
