Be Gentle, My Master

“They…” Tan Xiao bit her lip, immediately infuriated again.

“It’s the people from the Ouyang and Sima families, Miss Ouyang Peishan of the Ouyang family and Miss Sima Liuli of the Sima family.”

Baili Xia frowned: “What exactly do they want you to do?”

If it was the young ladies from the Eight Big Families who had beaten her up like this, it wouldn’t be particularly surprising.

Being part of the younger generation of the Eight Big Families, each one of them had been through training.

While perhaps the intensity of the training wasn’t too severe, they at least had some level of prowess.

After she joined the Mu family, she also constantly trained, and her martial arts skills were now miles better than when she first joined the Mu family.

But, she had a mysterious master teaching her martial arts and her elder brother supporting her training, so her progress wasn’t something an average person could compare to.

Looking at Tan Xiao’s face, she was still somewhat puzzled: “You didn’t agree?”

“How could I agree?” Tan Xiao became visibly excited as she mentioned it.

“They asked me to disband the basketball team and wouldn’t allow Mr.

Xiaojiu and Mr.

Jin to participate.

Do you think I could agree to that?”

“Even if I agreed, Mr.

Xiaojiu and Mr.

Jin might not.

If I disbanded the basketball team for no reason, they would definitely want to kill me.”

“Disband the basketball team?

Are they afraid of losing?” Baili Xia asked.

“That’s correct, Ouyang Peishan is the class president of the mechanical class, while Sima Liuli is the vice-president of telecommunications class; they are each in charge of their class’s sports activities.”

“Once they found out Mr.

Xiaojiu and Mr.

Jin joined our basketball team, they continually sought trouble.”

“In the past few days, while you and Ning Anran were staying in the hospital, unaware of the school affairs, they have been causing trouble not just once.”

Baili Xia sat in silence, listening to her, but not giving any opinions.

In reality, their hiring professional assistance from Uncle and Jin made the competition severely unfair.

But since Uncle and Jin wanted to participate, did they have the right to refuse?

Definitely not.

What difference would it make if Sima Peishan and Ouyang Liuli took it up with them?

If this matter blew up and reached Uncle and Jin, no one knew what kind of storm these big figures would stir up in the school.

It’s better if the students handle student affairs by themselves, involving more people would change the nature of the problem.

“But, they can’t just beat people up for no reason, did they beat you collectively?”

After being beaten to this extent, if it wasn’t a group assault then what was it?

Unexpectedly, her words made Tan Xiao blush in shame, a streak of crimson across her face.

“It wasn’t group assault, it was…

Chen Ming and I collectively beat up that girl.”

“So Chen Ming is lying in the school hospital and you ended up like this?” Baili Xia raised an eyebrow, finding this situation somewhat absurd.

“What are you looking at!” Tan Xiao stared at her, feeling wronged immediately.

“You don’t know, that girl is quite formidable! Who knew that she would be so good at fighting, had I known earlier, I wouldn’t have accepted the challenge.”

Baili Xia fell silent, in this world, there are always higher mountains and better people, there are masters everywhere.

However, a girl with such strong fighting skills—it was somewhat odd.

“If I remember correctly, Chen Ming also practices martial arts,” she said.

Tan Xiao made a face, there was clear resentment on it.

“I knew he practiced martial arts, and that’s why I dared to accept the challenge with him.”

Thinking about what happened last night, she felt both regret and anger!

“Who knew he would be so useless, he was knocked down in just a few strokes and even broke a rib!”
