Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire

Chapter 25: The reveal **

”Caius, you’re...”

”A Vampire,” Caius admitted immediately. The signs of struggle, suspiciously gone from his voice.

That was because it was all an act.

Sure Kaya’s blood was becoming irresistible, but it was not to the extent of him being forced to show off his fangs. He revealed this because he wanted to.

If he wanted to progress on the path of a true Vampire, Caius was going to have to feed. Arlette was great and was even enough for now because she was so much stronger than he was but even that would wane. He needed more partners. He needed others who could accept his Vampirism and let him feed on them and he decided Kaya would be first.

As he studied her face, he noted that his plan was still on track. He just admitted to being a Vampire and she hadn’t turned and run. That was a very good sign.

”I’ve—I’ve only heard stories...” Kaya said and gulped. Her mind was fuzzy and she found it hard not to focus on how serious this was when her body was all warm and tingly.

Caius couldn’t read minds but he knew what was happening. In a sense. It was why he had to pick his moment. He had to get Kaya aroused as usual, take her to a certain level of pleasured delirium before revealing his true nature hoping it would cloud her judgment enough to let her ignore what he was.

”You’re mad,” Samantha said. She wasn’t speaking in Caius’ head this time. She appeared by his side but was, of course, only visible to him.

’You don’t actually sound judgmental,’ Caius noted.

Samantha shook her head,

”I’m just slightly surprised this might work. This manipulative tactic of yours.”

Caius gave a mental shrug,

’I need to strike when I have the most chance at success. If all goes to plan, she’ll let me feed on her.’

”And what then? What about after the pleasure is gone from her system? When her judgment is no longer clouded?”

Again Caius shrugged,

’We’ll see.’

Samantha raised a brow but smiled and said nothing more. She just stood floating in mid-air, watching the scene play out.

While Caius was having a conversation with the invisible Author, many thoughts were running through Kaya’s head. First, she considered this was all a trick and then she decided it wasn’t. And then she spent a minute trying to decide what to do.

”When you said you were sorry and you couldn’t do it, was that about... biting me?” She asked slowly.

Caius frowned, trying to put on a tortured face. Fortunately, it wasn’t hard. It was a face ’Caius’ had put on for five years while he struggled with his Vampirism so he could replicate it with ease.

He let out a heavy pained sigh,

”I’ve lived with my— condition for years and I thought I could manage it. Usually I can but sometimes I lose control. I felt it was happening so I had to stop.”

”But yesterday...” Kaya started.

”Yesterday, I barely managed to keep it in check. It’s why I thought I could do it again today,” Caius interrupted,

”I was wrong.”

”Are you in pain? Do you—Do you have to feed?” Kaya asked.

What other sign could there be that she wasn’t thinking straight? But Caius could see the end of his rouse now and knew he had to seize the chance.

Adopting a sarcastic tone, he asked,

”Why? Are you offering?”

Kaya bit her lower lip. Her breasts, barely covered by her bra, rose and fell as her body grew warmer and the tingling of need got stronger. It was like she could feel the absence of Caius’ touch on her body. Specifically on her breasts.

”Will you drain me?” She asked trying for a smile.

Caius laughed. Making it sound joyless. Like he actually believed there was nothing to be joyful about in this situation.

He opened his mouth as if to speak and then closed it like he couldn’t think of anything to say.

Kaya gulped and took a step forward before cocking her head to the side as if to highlight her long and smooth neck. Caius took one step toward her and she stiffened. He paused but then quickly closed the distance between them as he raised a hand to the opposite side of the part of her neck she was presenting to him.

Kaya’s heart skipped a beat. The part of her brain that was still lucid pointed out that this wasn’t normal. That she shouldn’t be feeling—excitement?— in this moment... Alas, she couldn’t help it.

”Your arm would have been fine,” Caius said in a gentle and almost alluring voice while breathing on her neck, and before Kaya’s brain could truly comprehend what was about to happen, he sank his fangs into her flesh and her blood spilled out into his mouth.

Immediately, Kaya’s body was jolted out of her stiffened posture at the same time one of Caius’ arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her against his body. Kaya grabbed fistfuls of his shirt at his waist as she felt the blood drain from her and into his mouth.

Yet, despite the feeling of loss and the lightheadedness that followed, her heart beat even harder. Her blood pulsed even harder and her body tingled with an even greater intensity than it already did.

”Ahh...” she let out in a sound that was equal parts pain and equal parts pleasure as her body, almost on instinct, rocked against Caius’.

Speaking of Caius, every hike in Kaya’s arousal only made drop after drop of her blood grant him even more powerful kicks of evolutionary energy. But he kept himself in check. His goal wasn’t to drain her after all.

He pulled his fangs out of her neck and dragged his tongue across the bite mark he made in her neck, licking the drops that still seeped out. And then, he trailed the hand he had on her neck down to her chest where he cupped one of her breasts. Squeezing and kneading while Kaya let out gasps of pleasure. The sting of the bite mark on her neck was still pricking her but it hardly mattered. In fact, she welcomed it.

Caius’ hands lifted her skirt until it was bunched up at her waist and the flimsy leggings were quickly done away with. Ripped to shreds with Kaya barely noticing. When Caius lifted her into his arms and she felt a flow of breeze on her underwear covered ass, she just let out a moan as she wrapped her legs tight around his waist.

When she heard the flourish of the undoing of his pants, her heart just skipped. When she felt the hard and sizable head of a member rubbing against her inner thighs, her breath caught but her arms—now around Caius’ neck only—wrapped tighter.

Caius in turn guided his cock to her moist lips, separating them and inching his way in but here he paused. Feeling as she clenched and unclenched around him, he wanted to savor that moment. To savor the first true sexual act he was performing in this world...

And then, his hand grabbed Kaya’s waist and with one pull, he brought her down and lodged half of his rod within, breaking her hymen in that single fluid move.

”Ahn...!”

Feeling pain much greater than what the Vampire bite on her neck had caused her, Kaya opened her mouth and started to yell only for the sound to be cut off by Caius’ lips pressing against hers and somehow, that single action caused the pain to melt away.
