Chapter 2298: Growing Confident

Tang Shaoyang could sense the determination but also frustration from Zhang Mengyao through his Absolute Sense. Her words were genuine, but there was something hidden inside her.

He could pry further with his Absolute Sense, finding out what frustrated her. But that would be rude of him. If she didn’t want him to know, then let it remain that way. If she wanted to tell him, she would tell him.

He grinned ear to ear, ”You are the Supreme Commander. We listen to your command, Ma’am.”

Zhang Mengyao rolled her eyes as her husband could still joke around, ”You are in charge—”

Tang Shaoyang shook his head, waved his hand at her, ”I can’t be in charge when I will be on the frontline. How am I supposed to give you guys an order? Staying behind and giving orders is not my thing.”

”Or maybe I can issue an edict for you to be in charge. I am Emperor, after all,” He winked his right eye at Zhang Mengyao.

”Alright, I can’t win with you. That’s for later to discuss, and even if I am in command, you still need to show your face to boost morale.”

”It’s decided then!” Tang Shaoyang rose from his seat. ”I might have to leave for another mission tomorrow or the day after, so I am going to play with the kids. Where are they?”

”They are with Elin and Ava in the God Realm.”

Tang Shaoyang was about to bolt out of the room, but the three pairs of eyes stared at him intensely. He smiled and kissed them on the lips one by one. He kissed Kang Xue last, and she whispered something in his ear in a shy voice, ”Tonight.”

That was only one word, but he got the cue: ”Yes, my lady.”

He then bolted out of the room, waving them goodbye. He headed to the underground room where they placed all the portal gates.

His kids stayed in the God Realm for most of the time. It was under Lunea’s suggestion that it would be good for the children to stay in a rich-mana environment. She mentioned it was better for their growth, and the God Realm was the realm with the most mana.

Just like Tang Xiulan, Tang Huan Mei and Gavriel naturally grew their levels. They never killed zombies or beasts, yet their levels were growing. Tang Xiulan was already Level 126. It was slowing down once she reached level 126.

Tang Shaoyang guessed that might be because of the elven blood in her, but he was wrong about it because Tang Huan Mei and Gavriel’s levels grew naturally while both were born to a human mother.

Tang Huan Mei was a little bit slower compared to her brother. She was at level 28, and her brother, Gavriel, was at level 35. However, both were faster compared to their big sister. That might be the effect of the rich-mana environment that Lunea mentioned.

The surprise was that it only happened to his children. His Vice Supreme Commander, Wei Xi’s son, who was a little over a year older, didn’t have his level increased naturally. The clue was on him, and maybe his bloodline or his race had been jumbled. The Dragon, Demon, High Human, even Calamity.

That might be why his children were quite special. That was just the thing he figured, and he would not allow his kids to be the subject of an experiment. That was why it stopped there, even though Yi showed an interest.

Yi was his former spirit who took charge of the TEAA. He was hoping to make a potion that could help children grow their level naturally, like his children. The Head Alchemist cowered under his glare and never brought the topic up again.

All kinds of thoughts ran through his head as he headed to the God Realm. He arrived at the public teleportation gate. There were two teleportation gates: one was private, located inside the castle, and one was for the public.

He purposely chose the public one because he wanted to check on his city. Ten Tarriors were on guard, and all of them were Demi-God Rank. He sensed two God Ranks posted inside the guard post.

The Tang Empire had enough God Ranks to use them as guards. The guard duty had become mandatory for Tarrior, taking turns every week. That was all he knew about the guards.

He was satisfied with the security, and he could see the city was filled with people. He could see through his Chaos Eyes people walking on the street. They were not adventurers or Tarrior, but normal citizens.

Mother and her daughter, walking side by side. A family of three came out to what looked like an eatery. A playground filled with children playing, as well as a park where a couple was having a walk.

There was this sense of accomplishment that rose in his heart when he saw everything through Chaos Eyes. He didn’t take a role in building or designing the city, but this city existed because of him. That itself gave him a sense of accomplishment.

The dwarves finished the city some time ago, and this city was their capital in the God Realm. They were currently expanding the city while developing another one in another place. That was why Zhang Mengyao asked the dwarves to stop the development and focus on upgrading the Tarrior.

The Tarriors recognized him and were about to bow, but he waved his hand. ”Don’t need. Keep doing your job!”

Then his figure blurred and disappeared from the Tarrior’s eyes. He took a short walk before heading to his mansion. The people staying in the city were the family of the Tarrior or the family members of other divisions’ members.

Those who worked directly under the Tang Empire got priority to move their families to the God Realm. Not many were interested because a lot still regarded Earth as their home. However, that changed when Lunea announced the benefits of living in the God Realm.

The rich-mana environment didn’t just help the children’s growth, but it apparently helped the Elderly as well. That was just the wonder of mana that naturally strengthened the constitution.

[You seem to have to grow even more confident that you will win against the Nirvana Alliance and the God Order!]

Vandir suddenly said. That came out of nowhere since no one had said anything initially.

Tang Shaoyang was walking while viewing his city. The question caught him off guard, but it amused him. He could not feel his own change, but the people around him could. That might be the case, but he was the same- nothing different.

”What do you mean? There’s nothing to change. I have always been like this.”
