Chapter 1789  Mathias Story (1)

Tang Shaoyang expected a similar breed when he read the notification, another commander from the Hurakan Legion. This was the sixth commander, and he sensed boundless rage and hatred from Mathias. This one was totally different from Nikolas, and from his experience, these feelings were carried over right before their death.

Nikolas died after giving his all to fighting the Genesis Emperor. Of course, he still died with regret, which was proved by becoming a spirit. But Mathias did not just die with regret but with something else, something he found in many spirits.

”Why did you become spirit, Nikolas?” Tang Shaoyang asked. ”Whatʼs your regret!?”

[Of course, I want to exterminate the Void Cult and make sure they are rooted to the core! I think thatʼs my only regret, and maybe killing The Genesis Emperor myself. But thatʼs unrealistic, I died because I am weaker than The Genesis Emperor. If the Genesis Emperor is still alive, he would be much stronger, and I am still the same as when he killed me.]

Nikolas could read the notification and find out what his master summoned. He was surprised that his master summoned a commander two generations below him.

[So he is the sixth commander? He looks strong, but it seems like itʼs still not enough, huh?] Mathias also died, which meant the Void Cult had grown much stronger after his death.

”He doesnʼt just look strong, but he is stronger than you. You are one rank below him. He is Archaic Spirit, the highest rank spirit, and you are Mythical Spirit right below him. And I think he experienced a horrible thing for him to have such deep hatred.”

Nikolas of course felt what Tang Shaoyang felt from Mathias. He was surprised that his successor would have such deep vengeance. Mathias had brown eyes and black hair, Nikolas could have a deep hatred beneath the calm gaze. This was his first experience being able to read peopleʼs emotions, and he was getting overwhelmed by the negative emotions from Mathias. He could not imagine what Mathias experienced before his death.

The same with Nikolas, Mathiasʼ eyes locked on Tang Shaoyang after sensing the connection between them. Then he scanned the surroundings calmly, and his eyes flickered with wrath when he looked at the Void Gate above him. That was just for a brief moment, but Tang Shaoyang caught it.

Mathias took his halberd and walked toward Tang Shaoyang, he did not say anything, but his gaze scanned the otherʼs spirit. He stopped when the distance between them was five meters as he finally spoke. ”Letʼs make it simple. I will make a contract with you, I will become your slave, I will do anything even if it means I will disappear forever. I donʼt care as long as you help me exterminate the Void Cult!”

”To be honest I donʼt really care about the Void Cult. As long as they donʼt bother me, then I will not bother them.”

Mathias was shocked at first, and the shock turned into rage directed toward Tang Shaoyang this time. For someone who dedicated his life to guard the Void Gate and fought the Void Cult, he was angry to hear it from Tang Shaoyang.

”But I will fight them because of my class anyway, but I will not make a promise with you to destroy the Void Cult. I have a higher priority than destroying the Void Cult.”

That just fueled Mathiasʼs anger even more. It was humanityʼs duty to fight against the Void Cult, and the man in front of him dared to say that there was a higher priority than exterminating the Void Cult. But he did not lose his reason and asked. ”Whatʼs the Class that makes you fight the Void Cult?”

”Administrator.”

When Mathias heard the class, his rage intensified as his breathing became ragged. He almost lost his control, but he still managed to hold back from attacking the man in front of him. His hatred was for another person with Administrator Class, not everyone with Administrator Class.

”And I think you misunderstand me, Mathias. I donʼt need your agreement to establish a contract with you. If you donʼt want to form a contract with me, then I will force you to form the contract. I will beat you to establish the contract. I am not going to waste my resources just for you to decline the contract!”

Tang Shaoyang was not in a situation where he could be merciful and understanding toward others when he and his family were in danger. He managed to buy time for four years for now, and he needed to make an army of Archaic Spirit in these four years to execute his plan. At least he must destroy the Nirvana Alliance in their ten years of isolation, then the next target would be the God Order.

That was why he would force the contract even if the spirit did not want to form the contract with him. As he said, he had a higher priority than just the Void Cult. There was also the Sorc Clan and The Ancient Kingdom, then there was also The Vigamaur Dgaror, and also a clan from the Dragon Realm. They had not done anything yet so far, but it did not mean they would not do anything in the future. He must be prepared for the worst, so he would not accept the rejection.

”What if I refuse to listen to your order even if you managed to forcefully establish a contract with me?” Mathiasʼ calm demeanor changed into defiant, and he directed his rage toward Tang Shaoyang.

”Then I will sacrifice you. I will get some stats and some of your skills. I will not waste my sacrifice!”

Mathias raised his halberd and made a surprise attack, rushing toward Tang Shaoyang. Even though he was aware that he could not kill the master who summoned him, he still decided to fight. He thought he was fast enough to reach Tang Shaoyang at this distance, but he was wrong.

The person who summoned him could see his movement, his summoner was not surprised by his sudden attack. The man clearly saw his movement, but the man smirked at him at his attempt. Just as he thought his halberd would reach the manʼs head, a massive force fell on him.

Boom!
