Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy

Chapter 1200: Celestial Being

”Thatʼs right!”

Dalton slammed his palm lightly on the table, not in anger but in determination. ”We must prepare our students immediately. Training schedules, strategy sessions, sparring matches… everything must be intensified. Six months is not a long time.”

Lenora added… ”We should select our representatives carefully. Not just the strongest, but those who can endure pressure. The competition will test more than Arcane Power...”

Zeno agreed, ”And think of the message it will send… The Academy itself will show the continent that we are unshaken. That we will be the pinnacle of Arcanist training.”

Professor Dalton chuckled. ”Imagine the faces of those publishers when our students stand victorious. Theyʼll have no choice but to write about our triumph instead of our supposed failures.”

Lenora smirked. ”Let them write. Let them spread their doubts. When the competition ends, theyʼll be forced to praise us. And the parents who worry now will boast that their children belong to the greatest academy on the continent.”

”But we must not underestimate the others.” Professor Perez added.

”The academies of the northern kingdoms, the desert nations, even the sea-bound academies, they will all send their best. This will be no easy victory.”

Valeʼs Avatar gently nodded as he liked where this was going.

He could see the fire in their eyes. Indeed, the best way to resolve this issue wasnʼt to give simple words or statements to the public… Although it was also needed, the most important thing was to show results… and they would do that in the largest Arcane Academy Competition on the Continent!

”Then itʼs settled. We prepare for the competition. We will show them all that Marshall Academy is not just a protector of the Shadow Domain… it is the strongest academy on the continent.” Vale said with confidence.

Just like that, Valeʼs Avatar continued the meeting as he wanted to ensure that their students would be ready.

They had to ensure that the best students of the Academy would be able to show their true potential in the upcoming months… At the very least, they must immediately learn the three Foundational Spell Models of their Arcane Arts and ensure that their Special State or Magic Zone can last them at least 7 minutes!

Of course, this was all happening while outside the Academy gates were crowded with citizens demanding explanations.

Apparently, new rumors came that the Evil Spirits were not defeated, only delayed… For this matter, Valeʼs Avatar decided to just send Aurion, one of the Immortals who had just arrived, to deal with it…

Apparently, a few hours ago, although Vale worked with Jody to suppress the news, ensuring that the public knew the culprit behind the Evil Spirit attack had already been captured and that such an incident would not happen again, unease still lingered.

Despite the official statements, some parents remained unconvinced. Rumors spread quickly through the city, and within days, groups of worried families began arriving at the Academy gates.

”We want to speak to the Headmaster!” one parent demanded, clutching the hand of his child.

”My daughter trains here every day. How can you guarantee she wonʼt be attacked again?” another asked, her voice trembling.

”You say the culprit was caught, but we heard that Evil Spirits keep coming back. How do we know the Academy is safe?”

At this point, Aurion hasnʼt arrived yet.

So, many of the new professors tried to calm them, but the crowd grew louder.

Another Professor from the new Transformation Arts stepped forward calmly.

He even transformed into a beautiful and charming professor to appeal more to the parents.

”Donʼt worry… The Academy is secure. The Shadow Pillars are watching over the city, and Vale himself has given his assurance. Your children are safe here.”

But the parents pressed harder.

”Assurances arenʼt enough. We want to hear it directly from the Headmaster.”

”Yes! If Lord Vale is truly in control, then let him face us!”

They spoke as if they had forgotten how Vale saved the city from the Chaos Immortals.

With their attitude, it wouldnʼt be surprising if they had been bribed about this.

Inside, Vale was already aware of the growing unrest, and it was at this time that he used his telepathy to inform Aurion, who had just returned from his training, to deal with this matter without anyone getting hurt…

”They must be desperate…” Vale mused to himself as he felt that whoever the enemy was, they seemed to be rushing these things.

There was no way theyʼd succeed just like that.

Anyway, Jody had warned him that suppressing the news would only buy time, not erase doubt. Now, the parentsʼ demands proved her right.

Vale sighed again as he soon ended the meeting with the Professors.

The crowd outside the Academy gates appeared to grow restless, with their voices rising in frustration.

However, those sharp-eyed professors also noticed that the parents hid the money in their pockets carefully while demanding answers…

It could also be seen that many of them would look at their watches from time to time, as if they were waiting for something…

Then, suddenly, the sky above the city shimmered.

A radiant figure descended slowly, wrapped in a white sash that draped across a physique so flawless it seemed sculpted by divinity itself.

His androgynous beauty was simply too attractive… He was neither wholly masculine nor feminine, but transcendent, a presence that seemed beyond mortal comprehension.

Aurion had arrived.

Gasps rippled through the crowd as the Celestial Being touched down before the gates. His bare feet met the stone with a soft glow, and the murmurs stopped as they did not dare complain anymore.

They were just paid to make a scene and wait until the end of the classes before they could finally stop.

However, since such a godly figure arrived… They knew that they had to be careful not to ire him.

Still, no one knew his true nature, not even the Professors themselves. They didnʼt know that this Celestial Being was one of Valeʼs slaves, a previously sealed Celestial from the mausoleum…

”Be at peace. Your fears are heard, and your concerns are not ignored. You can leave now.”

The parents, stunned, listened as his words seemed to soothe the tension in their hearts.

”The Evil Spirits have been defeated. Their master has been captured. Your children are safe within these walls.”

Just like that, the leaders of the groups exchanged glances and didnʼt dare to argue anymore… They still value their lives!
