Apocalyptic Disaster: I Hoard Billions in Supplies and Kill the Saint

34: Chapter 34 One Night to Sweep Away the Food CourtYe Nanxing said in a calm tone, ”For the dishes I just ordered, I want 300 portions of each.”

The air went silent for three seconds.

”...Y-you, how many did you just say?” the waiter asked, looking shocked.

Ye Nanxing repeated herself, ”300 portions of each dish.”

The waiter’s eyes widened sharply, and even their voice trembled, ”A-are you hosting a banquet?”

That much food would be enough for dozens of large banquet tables, right?!

Ye Nanxing smiled casually, her tone still understated, ”No, I just want to order it to eat.”

”...” The waiter was completely stunned.

She hurried off to call the manager. Before long, a middle-aged man walked out quickly, his face plastered with a professional smile, ”Miss, hello. I am the manager. Is the order you just mentioned real?”

Ye Nanxing nodded faintly, ”Of course it’s real. Charge me your normal prices. I only have one requirement—it must be delivered to this address before six o’clock tomorrow evening.”

She took out her phone and sent the warehouse address to the manager.

Upon seeing the address and realizing it was a large storage area in the suburbs, the manager immediately felt much more at ease.

Large orders like this were usually placed by big companies or catering supply chains, so it certainly wasn’t a prank.

He nodded quickly, ”No problem! Rest assured, we will definitely deliver on time!”

Ye Nanxing nodded in satisfaction and paid 480,000 directly.

Watching the large sum hit his account, the manager’s smile nearly split his face. He immediately patted his chest in assurance, ”Miss, whatever you want to eat in the future, just let me know a day in advance, and we will definitely arrange the best ingredients and the best chefs to prepare it for you!”

Ye Nanxing smiled faintly and turned to leave. Walking out of the restaurant, the food street under the night sky was still bustling, and the air was filled with all sorts of aromas. She stood at the street corner, her gaze sweeping sharply across rows of restaurants and snack stalls, her eyes flashing slightly. How could she only stock up from one place?

She took out her phone and quickly dialed the number of a Sichuan restaurant, ”Hello, I’d like to place an order.”

The owner on the other end asked enthusiastically, ”Miss, how many portions do you need?”

Ye Nanxing said in an indifferent tone, ”500 portions of each dish.”

The owner was stunned, then asked with pleasant surprise, ”500 portions? Are you sure?”

”Sure. Deliver it to this warehouse address before six o’clock tomorrow. I’ll pay the full amount now.”

As soon as she finished speaking, the owner shouted excitedly, ”No problem! We will definitely arrange the best chefs and guarantee on-time delivery!” This was a huge order, equivalent to half a month’s business!

Ye Nanxing hung up and continued calling a Cantonese restaurant, a Northeastern restaurant, and an Anhui restaurant, ordering 500 portions of signature dishes from each!

Sichuan cuisine—Boiled Fish, Mao Xue Wang, Husband and Wife Lung Slices, Spicy Chicken...

Cantonese cuisine—Roast Goose, White Cut Chicken, Braised Squab, Cantonese Char Siu...

Northeastern cuisine—Guo Bao Rou, Fried Meat Slices, Stewed Chicken with Mushrooms, Stewed Vermicelli with Sauerkraut...

Anhui cuisine—Stinky Mandarin Fish, Yan Du Xian, Braised Lion’s Head Meatballs, Hairy Tofu...

...500 portions of each dish. That night, every restaurant on the food street received her orders, and the chefs worked overtime, preparing the ingredients!

With the main meals resolved, Ye Nanxing turned her attention to the street snack stalls. She walked straight up to the largest barbecue stall and said to the owner, ”I want to order barbecue. How much can you make?”

The owner, busy and sweating profusely, replied offhandedly upon hearing this, ”Our shop can make at most... five thousand skewers a day?”

Ye Nanxing nodded slightly and said directly, ”Alright, then 5,000 lamb skewers, and 2,000 portions each of grilled chicken wings, grilled oysters, and grilled chives. Deliver them to this address before six o’clock tomorrow.”

”...Ah?!” The tongs in the owner’s hand dropped onto the grill with a ”clatter,” sending charcoal sparks flying. He widened his eyes, his face full of disbelief, ”L-little sister, are you opening a barbecue city?!”

Ye Nanxing said understatedly, ”Don’t worry about it. Just make as much as you can. I’ll transfer the money now.”

Seeing her pay without hesitation, the owner was instantly thrilled, ”Alright! I’ll go restock tonight and guarantee I’ll make the best for you!”

The next second, she turned and walked towards the nearby teppanyaki squid, stinky tofu, and fried rice cake stalls, practically buying up all the snacks on the entire food street!

The stall owners were all stunned, suspecting that she might be hosting a banquet for a thousand people. But Ye Nanxing didn’t care about their shock. She knew that after the Apocalypse, whoever held the food was the king!

Since she had already stocked up on cooked food, how could she miss out on milk tea and fast food?

She walked into a booming milk tea shop and said to the cashier, ”I want 5,000 cups of milk tea. Can you make that?”

The cashier looked confused, ”...Y-you mean 5,000 cups?”

”Yes,” Ye Nanxing said calmly, ”500 cups of each flavor.”

The cashier’s jaw nearly dropped, and they immediately went to find the manager. Upon hearing this, the milk tea shop owner was blown away and rushed over, ”Miss, are you sure you want that much?”

”Yes. I’ll pay now. Deliver it to the designated warehouse tomorrow.”

Hearing that she would pay in full, the owner nearly knelt down to thank her, ”Miss! Rest assured! We will do our absolute best!”

It wasn’t just milk tea; she also specifically ordered a large amount of fast food! Fried chicken burgers—2,000 portions (all varieties from K-store and M-store); pizza—500 portions (supreme, cheese, seafood); fried chicken legs, fries, cola—5,000 portions each!

She had swept through almost every restaurant and snack shop on the entire food street!

When all the orders were finalized, Ye Nanxing took out her phone and called the large warehouse she had rented in the suburbs: ”Hello, a large amount of cooked food will be delivered tomorrow. Please arrange for personnel to receive it.”

The warehouse manager was immediately surprised, ”Miss Ye, are you sure you want to stock up on so much food? This... won’t it be too much to fit?”

Ye Nanxing smiled slightly, ”Don’t worry, I have a way to store it.”

The next day, hundreds of restaurant delivery vehicles converged at the warehouse. Boxes of packed cooked food, fresh fried chicken, burgers, milk tea, and more were delivered into the warehouse.

Outside the warehouse, the delivery workers looked shocked! ”My god, with this much food, are they opening a restaurant chain?” ”How big of a team would it take to finish all this?” ”I’ve lived for thirty years, and this is the first time I’ve seen someone order food so extravagantly...”

Ye Nanxing stood at the warehouse entrance, the corners of her mouth slightly raised. After everyone left, she confirmed no one was around, and with a thought—”Collect!”

Hum—! The next second, hundreds of thousands of portions of cooked food, milk tea, and fast food were instantly swallowed into her space!

The space was instantly piled high with all kinds of delicacies, each dish maintaining the temperature as if just out of the pot!

Ye Nanxing clapped her hands lightly and turned to leave. After the Apocalypse, who else could still eat fried chicken, burgers, milk tea, and pizza? Only her!
