Chapter 963: Chapter 760: Bon Voyage (Part 3)

”I will definitely live up to the president’s trust!”

Tsushima Daigo was overjoyed, holding the Zhong Kui Horse Seal in both hands, he carefully put away this formidable power.

”Very good, with fierce generals like Tsushima-kun and experts like Mr. Nagahara secretly assisting, this time we are sure to achieve success!”

”Wish you all a smooth journey!”

Ozaki Mitsuharu grinned, a sinister smile, ”I will wait here for you all to return together with that old thief Tobio’s head!”

With the farewell drink downed in one gulp, the roaring sound of engines erupted from the parking lot.

Amidst the roar, the stream of cars sped like a long dragon, rushing towards the Tanbo Inner Circle.

.

Among the stream of cars, in an especially luxurious vehicle, Tsushima Daigo, who had just been entrusted with an important task, respectfully saluted the young man beside him: ”This time’s mission will rely on Mr. Nagahara’s assistance.”

”It’s nothing, merely my duty.”

Nagahara smiled reservedly, ”Now, with our Thunder Strike, the defenses inside Kahara hospital are empty, the only one who can oppose me is Amada. Just focus on defense execution, leave the rest to me!”

Tsushima was delighted: ”With Mr. Nagahara here, we are sure to succeed in this battle!”

Along the way, everything was smooth and unhindered.

In the silent night of Kyoto, vehicles came and went, but under the cover of Nagahara’s Source Substance, the convoy was shrouded in shadows, indistinct beyond a hundred steps away, only a vague gray mist could be glimpsed roaming loudly through the city, like a Python leaving its nest.

In the middle of the convoy, Nagahara closed his eyes as if in a light doze, yet his thoughts and awareness spread along with the gray mist in all directions, overlooking everything around without leaving any traces.

Only occasionally, the black Flying Birds in the sky would curiously gaze down, observing everything happening on the ground.

The Hybrid Alliance indeed was completely unaware.

They’ve probably been scared out of their wits, right? Without Tobio’s leadership, they’re leaderless, and now they’re probably struggling for power and profit internally.

The security of the distant Tanbo Inner Circle was also sparse and just for show, without any real defenses.

But for some reason...

Nagahara’s brow furrowed: ”Are there more Ravens today than usual?”

Confused, Tsushima raised his head and looked out the window, seeing those swirling shadows above the Sky Dome, eyes red as they looked down at the ground, occasionally making raucous noises.

Yet the farther they went, the closer they got to the Tanbo Inner Circle, the denser those omnipresent Ravens became.

In the end, each rooftop, each street lamp, and each tree’s shade had crimson lights appearing, spreading iron-like wings, jeering and cawing.

A mighty wave of Ravens suddenly swept over, covering the entire Sky Dome.

”Wait, this is...”

Tsushima Daigo’s eyes widened, and immediately he heard a loud boom, the ground trembled fiercely, and the speeding convoy abruptly halted.

In the darkness, two glaring car headlights suddenly lit up.

It was as if a sleeping monster had been awakened, its engine emitted a restless roar.

Amidst the roar, it dashed out wildly, whistling forward, swaying its massive body, breaking through the oncoming wind, heading straight to crush the speeding convoy.

It was a massive... oil tanker?!

Behind the darkness, the smoking man pressed the button in his hand.

”Damn it!”

Instinctively, Tsushima Daigo clenched his fist, only to see the terrifying flames erupt skyward, a terrifying pressure lifting a white wave, sweeping, violently spreading in the suburb’s quiet night.

The blazing flames danced along with the falling rain of fire, casting down the light of Purgatory.

In this sudden explosion, all the gasoline and insignificant metal fuel within were completely transformed, burning into heat, rolling and spreading all around.

Instantly engulfing a third of the convoy, the viscous flowing flames continued to spread rapidly, swallowing the scrapped vehicles that didn’t escape in time.

Then, amidst the flames, shrill screams and cries echoed.

Under the excited oversight of the Ravens, a figure gradually emerged from the fiercely burning fire.

Walking out of the darkness, crossing through the burning flames and terrifying heat.

Just like a true Evil Ghost walking from its Hell, stepping over the red-hot steel and charred bones, moving forward step by step.

From the light of Purgatory, a pleased face appeared.

”Yo, everyone, good evening.”

Huai Shi extended his hand, slowly unsheathing the Famous Sword gifted by Tobio, smiling as he greeted:

”Did you miss me?”
