Chapter 494: Chapter 430: Chaotic Battle_1

In the tumultuous space between sea and sky, a white dove looked around, lost, beating its wings. Then, after circling the massive column of light, it seemed to finally remember its home and flew away. So swift, and so abrupt. No one could see where it came from, nor where it vanished. Quick as lightning.

Quicker than lightning was a line of iron light that roared in its wake, a Miracle Imprint condensing to its limit, circling once around the gravitational tether of Nowhere and disappearing.

After that, the column of light was severed mid-way. It was as smoothly bisected as a glass column cut by a high-pressure water knife—clear and mirror-like—where the very nature of light, whether wave or particle, was undoubtedly split in two. The gravity and bindings applied within it collapsed as well.

Once again, a rainbow light descended from the sky. An old man in a long robe stepped out, opened the sealed box in his hand, and held it aloft.

The world tilted. Everything began to tilt at a subtle angle, spinning wildly, as directions like up, down, left, and right swiftly inverted and recombined, forming an invisible maze.

The Heaven Ladder fell again, but it could not decipher the random code and returned without success.

Now, above the Endless Sea, a triple-fold legal framework shrouded the area.

’Double Helix Secret Ritual’ granted a twenty-five percent enhancement to all Abyssal Creatures and a suppression of the same percentage to all non-Hell Clans.

’Primitive Soup’ then flattened all this, imposing an additional thirty percent weakening on all incoming non-single-celled, non-mechanical structure organisms and a continuous disintegration Domain at the cellular level. All creatures entering the area had to endure radiation-like devastation against their own cells.

The subsequent legal framework, ’Box-Garden Therapy,’ instantly sandboxed the entire sea area, breaking it into hundreds of modules, each capable of flipping at will, forming a rapidly changing spatial labyrinth.

After that, a sharp light was cast from Nowhere, descending from the sky.

[King’s Selection Sword].

The spatial lockdown of the Box-Garden was completely penetrated by that sword blade. As the ancient longsword was driven into the Group Star, all creatures not holding the rank of Owner of the Great Mob, The Crowned One, or Ruler were forcibly expelled. The closer to the center, the more they felt the terrifying gravity multiply, quickly depleting their energy and leading to exhaustion and death.

Then, the envoy from the Jurisdiction Bureau opened the door to the storage room and poured a ladle of boiling oil onto the globe, using three times the amount from before.

Conflagration descended from the heavens. From within Nowhere, another ray of light was cast—a reverse framework manipulating ’entropy,’ revealing the countenance of the paradoxical theorem once again. Overturning thermodynamics, it transformed into frost then, with a light touch, turned the frost back into flame. Even under the interference of temporal editing, a complicated and delicate conversion was completed, ultimately leading to a balance that nullified both parties and turned into a meaningless storm blowing in all directions.

The theorem framework [Everworld] arrived, turning this place into a kingdom of the undead. Following this, a Fifth Stage Sublimator of the Russian Federation Genealogy raised the Holy Grail. Riding a warhorse, he rushed through the waves, the sacred radiance purifying all obscure mortal toxins. A clear light surged out of nowhere, illuminating the sea area once again.

Once the Domain was no longer confined to one place, a total of eleven Creators overlaid various chaotic frameworks on this sea area. This caused the rules and aesthetics here to change wildly, with countless physical collision effects, typical of trashy game engines, constantly appearing.

The scene was completely chaotic, as if someone had filled a pot with three liters of water, boiled it for five minutes, and then chucked in star anise, fennel, rice, red dates, military models, action figures, clots of blood, pig intestines, cooking wine, red wine, squid, dog feces, rainbow candy, and a bunch of other random items, covered the pot, and stewed everything for ten minutes.

In the violent shaking, Osiris was caught in the aftermath, soaring up like a rag doll and falling into the Endless Sea, slowly sinking into the deep.

The shrill alarm sounded incessantly.

Huai Shi saw only darkness. He gasped for breath but could hardly support his own body. He opened his mouth but could not make a sound, as if he’d become an idiot. Instinct, muscle memory, recollection, self, and even consciousness were all messed up by that eye of thunder light. He was just a tiny bit away from becoming a vegetable.

In the cockpit, the Steel book slowly rose and locked in place. Beelzebub’s projection emerged from it, reaching out to take over control from Huai Shi.

But a raised hand gripped it tightly.

”No one can stop me from operating the robot...” From his stupor, Mountain Ghost looked up, green fire blazing in his eyes. ”No one can!”

In his other hand, the Book of Fate appeared, instantly reorganizing all his consciousness, neat and orderly, as if everything just now, except for the blood around his nose and mouth, had been an illusion.

Beelzebub was silent for a long time before saying, ”That won’t do, Huai Shi. Neither you nor this armor can go on like this. Let’s leave.”

Huai Shi glared at him. ”We’ve come all this way, and at such a critical moment! Don’t be a fool, what nonsense are you talking?! Matthes, that Wang Ba, is just a little further away. If you have any treasures, bring them out now, don’t keep hiding them!”

”...As you wish.” Beelzebub remained silent for a moment, then sighed. Suddenly, a control lever popped out from the cockpit. ”See this?” he said. ”Press and hold the red button, and pull it all the way down!”

Without a second thought, Huai Shi reached out and pressed the control lever.

As the red button was pressed, a piercing alarm sounded from the cockpit, but as the lever was pulled down, sudden silence followed.

On the cover of the Steel book, numerous characters flashed by in a projection. Finally, they were replaced by a line of blood-red characters.

[State of the Styx preheating complete, countdown—3, 2, 1!]

In the deathly stillness, the sound of a torrent suddenly swept through. In an instant, Huai Shi was engulfed by numerous chilling breaths, frozen stiff, his consciousness struggling to function. Endless death became a record, continually surfacing from within his consciousness, pulling him repeatedly toward that irrevocable limit.

Grey water vapor condensed out of thin air, turning into a downpour, instantly submerging the entire cockpit. Everything was submerged at the bottom of the Styx.

In that moment, Osiris’s eyes suddenly dimmed, no longer responsive. But immediately after, numerous plates of armor upon his body roared open, spewing out terrifying heat and flames.

Radiance surged forth from the depths of the Styx. It beamed out of Osiris’s eyes, like a sun in the darkness.

”OHHHHHH!!!!!”

Huai Shi felt as though he was burning.

Emulating the Miracle of Osiris’s two resurrections from death, he transformed the immense mecha into a death-coffin bearing a god adrift on the Styx. He activated all engines and Source furnaces, performing the forbidden Miracle forging, and eventually approached divine power without limit.

Layer upon layer of shackles were undone in an instant. Armor continuously fell off, crumbled, and disintegrated, as if a heavily armored person had shed all hindrances, stepping undeterred onto the final battlefield. Flames burst forth from the crevices of the steel mechanism.

At this moment, everyone saw the light and heat that suddenly erupted from the Endless Sea, as if a sun was rapidly rising from beneath the sea—no, it was the great star of the Styx arriving here.

The existence that shook heaven and earth wielded limitless power. The Underworld Giant tore through the dark currents of the sea, ascending from it, reigning between the Abyss and the sea, bellowing with a roar.

”Full health resurrection!” Huai Shi jubilantly cheered, ”Truly worthy of me!!!”

”That damn old man is here again,” Beelzebub warned. ”Be careful!”

In front of the crystal cage, the Heretic King coldly eyed the assaulting Sublimators. His fingers curled on one hand, flicking out a sky full of thunder light. His other hand calmly rose, pointing distantly at Osiris, who had returned to seek death, as he indifferently chanted a few syllables.

Countless darkness surged out of nowhere, like a gaping mouth, swallowing toward Osiris.

Subconsciously, Huai Shi retreated a step without thinking. Unexpectedly, he blasted backward sixteen kilometers in the air, leaving only a straight trail of light. Even Beelzebub was stunned.

”What’s this?” he asked in amazement. ”What is this thing?”

Pace of Yu...?

Huai Shi was dumbfounded. Only now did he realize that after shedding all its armor, Osiris’s alloy muscles had perfectly emulated his own motions and reactions. He was then taken aback with delight.

”The mecha knows Ancient Martial arts; not even gods can stop it, you know!” he shouted excitedly. ”This time, it’s in the bag!”

The Shepherd’s Staff unfolded once more.

Rising hundreds of meters from the sky, the Underworld Giant, wrapped in blazing flames, dove downwards.

In the midst of the struggle, the Heretic King glanced back impassively, but his gaze was not on Osiris, rather fixed on the swiftly vanishing trail of light in the void. A flicker of astonishment crossed his dark, turbid eyes, then came undisguised disgust and killing intent.

”Such a display... is genuinely disagreeable,” he remarked, as if recalling something unpleasant.

The Heretic King snapped his fingers and fired. A thread of thunder light surged, transforming into a raging storm, howling towards them.

Huai Shi roared, sweeping the Shepherd’s Staff to shatter the encroaching thunder. The Underworld Giant fell from the sky like a malevolent star, the golden star crashing toward the sea’s surface, bringing with it a ferocious, overbearing pressure.

The Shepherd’s Staff cleaved!

Without turning his head, the Heretic King raised his fist and struck upward.

A world-shaking roar burst forth.

Cracks appeared on the Shepherd’s Staff, and in an instant, it crumbled to pieces. Huai Shi’s eyes widened in astonishment.

Then, among the scattering fragments, he saw the old man lift his gloomy eyes for a glance. Fingers clenched, his fist, wrapped in boundless thunder light, struck out again.

This time, it was a straight punch!
