Apocalypse Forecast

Meanwhile, the dying wail of the Ruler pierced everyone’s eardrums.

Countless viscous nightmares frantically pierced out in every direction, like a display of ferrofluid reacting to a magnet.

But the moment those sharp spikes solidified, they began to turn grayish-white from their tips, fragmenting inch by inch and crumbling into ash.

Only the central, viscous mass of nightmare continued to wriggle, attempting to escape from between the roots.

Death had already arrived.

The Rotting Dream was about to be completely devoured by the inverted giant tree.

Everyone could imagine the gurgling sound of a drink being drained by a straw, echoing joyfully inside a cup.

Among the countless withered branches of the Remaining Evils of the World, cheerful baby laughter burst forth. They felt nourished and happy, expressing gratitude to their mothers.

In that instant, unknowingly, the last part of the enormous inverted tree had left the edge of the Mirror World.

In the midst of its sweet feeding, it had obliviously left the safe zone.

Lured by the candies continually appearing on the ground, it hadn’t noticed it had strayed farther and farther, leaving its safe cradle and entering a treacherous den.

No, perhaps it should be said that the moment it ignored the surrounding mortals with disdain, its own subsequent grisly fate was sealed.

”Majestic is my bloodline!”

Matthes spread his arms, chanting loudly. The myriad floating, twisted crystals radiated intense light, showering down Blessings.

Law Framework·Double Helix.

This was a world-transforming tool meticulously woven by the Creator—a Secret Ritual powerful enough to reshape heaven and earth through an interplay of ingenuity and knowledge.

With Matthes fully in command, all the reflected Owners of the Great Mob roared thunderously. The Disaster Miracle from the Abyss descended upon them, transforming into crimson flames and rapidly amplifying their Power.

Bone-white masks covered their grotesque faces, one by one, until finally, a blood-red Halo arose.

Meanwhile, all creatures not of the Abyss Bloodline felt a profound malice and suppression from the world. The very air turned hard as iron, becoming unbreathable. Their boiling blood began to surge uncontrollably and mutate, forcing them to suppress it with all their might.

The situation was dire.

Yegor’s projection looked up. ”Deep Space Corps, prepare Firepower suppression immediately! Isn’t the Rainbow Bridge transmission ready yet?”

”Too late!” Matthes sneered, baring his teeth.

He turned back to gaze at the Remaining Evils of the World, now entering their cage.

After such lengthy preparations, so much effort, and so many plans, finally, it was time to harvest...

BOOM!

A ghastly shriek erupted, the piercing sound like a blade scraping an eardrum, causing Matthes’s smile to stiffen for an instant.

In that moment, everyone saw the nightmare surge and roil.

It was as if the nightmare was ignited, heated, and boiled by a hundred thousand suns. Countless agonizing bubbles rapidly rose from the tormented Dreamland, bursting and broadcasting an engine’s roar from Hell to the world.

Light bloomed from the darkness. It flashed and vanished!

The next instant, darkness split apart, rolling back on both sides in terror, like the Sea parting before a Saint. And in that ocean of nightmares, a majestic figure with wings of flame soared into the sky amid a vast roar.

It burst forth from the Rotting Dream!

Its silhouette was the epitome of all worldly sharpness and majesty, a solemn face forged from steel tempered in the Fire of Disaster.

Frenzied light from its Source Substance shot out from the Giant’s eyes. On its back, forty-six deep engines radiated brilliant golden light, like outstretched wings.

It rose from the deepest nightmares.

He revealed himself upon this chaotic sea, arriving like an unforeseen storm of iron, Thunderfire, and conflagration.

Then, an uppercut!

Propelled by its deep engines, the 321-meter-tall Judgment Mech·Underworld Giant rapidly spun, stomping a foot onto the foul face of the Rotten Dream.

Its Iron Fist clenched tight, wreathed in a ghastly pale phantom of high-frequency vibrations, as it flawlessly thrust upward into the sky!

Before this long-charged Iron Fist, everything crumbled apart rapidly, like a mere illusion.

The air howled as it collapsed, forming streams of terrifying electricity that spread in every direction.

The inverted tree trembled violently.

Grating baby cries spread from the treetop.

A ghastly fissure, following the roar, extended from the roots all the way through the inverted tree. It tore open a vast gap from which viscous sap dripped. The sap landed on the dusky green Armor, turning into potent venom, but the Source Substance Armor contemptuously ignored it.

”You never expected this, did you? Mom gave you a little brother!”

The Underworld Giant slowly stepped forward, emerging from the nightmare, reaching out to grasp the massive root system of the inverted colossal tree.

Bending down to scrutinize the Remaining Evils of the World, the solemn iron face drew near, emitting a hoarse sound like steel scraping against steel. ”Is it a surprise? Is it a delight, O-nii-chan!”

It was as if an old hen had turned into a duck in the blink of an eye—a completely unexpected development.

Neither the Golden Dawn nor the Astronomical Society, not even the Remaining Evils of the World itself, had anticipated some little bastard suddenly appearing to split the inheritance. But judging by the way this Wang Ba was stomping on the Rotten Dream, it clearly wasn’t a blood relative. And even if it were, who said it couldn’t be eaten?

The moment its ingrained malice was triggered, numerous roots wrapped around Huai Shi, causing the repulsion armor in the void around him to emit piercing wails.

But then, the Underworld Giant drew the hefty hilt from its waist. Source Infusion surged within, and intense light flowed out rapidly from both ends of the emerging weapon.

One end was sharp like a Long Spear, while the light at the other end unbelievably curved into an arc, forming a strange hook.

It was a Scepter...

—The Shepherd’s Staff!

As Huai Shi gripped the Shepherd’s Staff with both hands and thrust it forward forcefully, its sharp end deeply wedged into the roots of the Remaining Evils of the World, piercing through the massive tree roots and emerging from the other side.

It was like a hot knife through butter; the roots’ defenses, capable of repelling all mundane attacks, were cleanly penetrated by the Shepherd’s Staff.

Judgment.

The inherent talent of the Osiris Stigmata: inflict 100% damage on all Hell Creatures—undiminished, unevadable, unstoppable.

The Underworld Giant roared. As it pulled out the Shepherd’s Staff and swept it across, the nearly circular head of the staff blazed with countless flecks of iron light, sweeping through like a steel tempest.

A ghastly gash instantly appeared on the colossal tree trunk, sending countless pieces of bark and wood splinters flying.

It revealed the dark-green face of Osiris.

And its eyes, blazing with rage.

In that moment, Matthes finally understood.

”Osiris... Auden, you bastard... No, it’s The Fly King, isn’t it?” he asked coldly. ”Are you that obsessed, Fly King!”

”Stand there, Matthes, don’t move, don’t leave—”

A raspy voice burst from the Steel Giant’s shell, laden with a century’s accumulated rage and grief. Beelzebub bellowed,

”—Today, I’ll send your mother to heaven!”

With a fierce punch, Osiris broke free from the nearby Remaining Evils of the World. He bolted towards Matthes at breakneck speed, the deep engines on his back igniting with flames that propelled him like a cannonball, shattering layer after layer of the Double Helix Secret Ritual’s boundaries.

Matthes lifted his hand expressionlessly.

At his gesture, two huge shadows on the battlefield instantly transformed into flashes of lightning. They returned above the Group Star, blocking Osiris’s path.

Osiris roared.

Osiris roared because Huai Shi was howling within him. He felt ignited, engulfed by the sorrow, pain, and fury lingering within the Underworld Giant.

The moment he saw Matthes, he opened his mouth and let out a savage scream.

From Osiris’s eyes, two beams of fiery light burst forth, searing the face of an Owner of the Great Mob and leaving a grievous scar on its bone-white mask.

Then, surging forward, Huai Shi instinctively manipulated the light wings on Osiris’s back. He swung the Shepherd’s Staff, aiming for the nearest Owner of the Great Mob in a sweeping arc.

The head of the staff struck its lion-like head like an Iron Hammer, and its skull emitted a sickening crack.

In the Owner’s momentary stupor, the Underworld Giant vanished before its eyes.

Huai Shi nimbly spun Osiris around to appear behind it. Without looking back, he thrust the Shepherd’s Staff backward, its sharp tip impaling the Owner of the Great Mob’s enormous body.

Judgment!

Light blazed. An ethereal image of scales of justice appeared above Osiris’s head: one pan held the Owner’s pierced heart, the other a single feather.

The scales tipped instantly; the Owner of the Great Mob’s heart plummeted, weighed down by its sins and the Hell Catastrophe. A blaze then erupted from the Shepherd’s Staff, incinerating the creature to ash in a heartbeat.

All the dispersing Source Substance was devoured by the Crocodile Head Shield on Osiris’s right arm. The crocodile eyes on the Shield glowed red, and Huai Shi saw Osiris’s energy display rise by half a bar!

Amid his surprise, he saw another Owner of the Great Mob hurl itself at him from within the fog.

Underneath a dirty, shroud-like cloth, writhing pale fog was bound into a humanoid shape. It wielded two spectral blades, its speed as swift as lightning.

Osiris’s free left hand again drew another short staff from its waist. Infused with Source Substance, three short rods, like segments of Shackles, instantly condensed on it. Connected by tethers of Source Substance, they were flung outwards.

Upon contact with the fog, the rods erupted with ghostly light, like an invisible gaping maw. They instantly tore through the fog and tattered shroud, effortlessly snapping the eerie Owner of the Great Mob in half at the waist!

A wail of lamentation burst forth. Blood rained down from the mist, splattering in all directions.

Drenched in gore, Osiris emerged from the blood and mist, his outline fierce. The Shepherd’s Staff roared with a Space Break as it smashed down towards Matthes!

Beelzebub roared, ”Die for me!!!”
