Chapter 265: Chapter 233 The So-Called Prince_1

In an instant, Huai Shi’s movements turned from sluggish to agile.

It was as if he had transformed into a fish, blending into the sea, gliding through the air and dodging the White Horse’s charge at the last moment. He revealed a smile toward the Prince.

Then, by taking advantage of the undercurrents roiling in the sea, the Axe Blade cut down without any delay.

Swift as the wind!

In the premium seats, a representative of the Theravada Tantra stopped in shock. ”That is...”

”Oh, what is it?” asked the representative next to him. ”Did you notice something?”

”No, it’s nothing. I was mistaken.”

The representative slowly shook his head, the doubts in his mind gradually dissipating.

Though it looked similar to the Theravada Tantra’s Dual Sword Technique, the movements were off, and the core was entirely different. It was probably a coincidence, right? But could it really be such a coincidence?

Huai Shi, like a fish in water!

This set of Dual Sword Technique, now wholly integrated with the Performance Method, unfolded once again in Huai Shi’s hands. As the Axe Blade chopped down with a heavy beat, it stirred up turbulent undercurrents in the air. Then, the Short Knife pierced through, circling around the Sword Blade and stabbing towards the Prince’s neck.

The White Horse suddenly turned in the sea, its iron hooves kicking out, but the flow of the water helped Huai Shi dodge gracefully. His blade sliced again, only to be blocked by the Sword Blade.

Infallible swordsmanship unfolded from the depths of the sea. Even under the heavy pressure and resistance of the water, the Prince remained graceful, without a hint of disarray.

The White Horse charged, the Sword Blade swept across.

This time, it was a clash of equals!

”Impressive.”

In the midst of suffocation, Huai Shi’s lips parted, sparing no praise and admiration.

The Prince smiled, as if saying ”same to you.” Suddenly, a burst of Power surged from the Sword Blade, pushing Huai Shi away.

Huai Shi pressed on relentlessly, the Long Spear piercing out, but the sea disappeared in an instant.

The two landed. The lift stage abruptly rose, and the stage transformed into an ominous gray-black. As a pale gray light shone above their heads, forming clouds of darkness, Huai Shi’s nose caught the hallucinatory, pungent smell of sulfur...

An uneasy premonition suddenly surfaced.

In the midst of his aggressive advance, the earth in front of him split open abruptly, halting the young man’s pursuit. A roll of red cloth soared from within, bursting skyward...

Like lava erupting from a volcano! Even if it was just a piece of red cloth, if it covered someone, they would probably burn up in an instant, right?

Unable to advance, Huai Shi dodged backward, but in mid-air, he fiercely hurled the heavy Axe Blade towards the oncoming torrent.

A mournful Space Break erupted.

The Axe Blade, whirling, plunged into the magma, tearing the red cloth. It turned red-hot and, blazing with fire, spun back towards the Prince’s face.

The Prince turned his head to dodge, letting the Axe Blade fly past his ear.

Then, he saw a Lock Chain flying close behind it, fastened to the hilt of the Axe.

Huai Shi, with a sudden pull!

The Axe Blade returned!

Amidst the resounding clang of metal on metal, a slash appeared on the Prince’s cheek. His elegance was gone, but his demeanor grew even more dignified and imposing.

The White Horse neighed angrily, circling around the flying lava and charging towards Huai Shi.

The Sword Blade thrust forward.

CRASH!

The Long Spear and Sword Blade collided in mid-air.

Huai Shi retreated, his movements suddenly pausing... the White Horse had bitten his sleeve!

Could it really do that?

The Sword Blade was already slashing towards his arm!

At the last moment, he summoned the Sacrificial Knife, holding it upside down to block. But the Sword Blade glided along the knife’s edge, eventually leaving a deep, bone-exposing wound on Huai Shi’s elbow.

The White Horse and Huai Shi crossed paths and landed.

The volcano had vanished without a trace. Amidst the dramatic scene changes, the two of them were now standing atop a great cathedral, their feet on towering flying buttresses, with sharp, blade-like towers pointing to the sky behind them.

The White Horse deftly turned on the top of the cathedral. The Prince on its back gazed at the distant young man with a grin. ”You’re really something, Huai Shi.”

”It takes one to know one.”

Huai Shi twisted his neck, slathered a Silver Blood Potion on the wound on his elbow, and looked up to ask, ”You seem to be holding back a lot, Your Highness. Do you have some other tricks up your sleeve?”

”Indeed.” The Prince nodded.

”So, you’ve been pulling your punches?” Huai Shi couldn’t help but smile. ”I thought giving it your all was a way to show respect to the opponent.”

”It is a joy to have an opponent like you, Huai Shi,” the Prince on the White Horse said with a smile, seemingly regretful. ”Although it may be somewhat presumptuous to say, I just don’t want this battle to end too quickly.”

”With only that level of effort, this battle will also end quickly, Your Highness.”

Flames of the Mountain Ghost rose from the young man’s body. The power of the Yu Step exploded, his footsteps deeply imprinting into the cathedral’s stone carvings. The young man advanced, grinning, and told him word by word, ”I’m quite formidable.”

”Is that so?”

Staring into the young man’s eyes, the Prince fell silent for a moment, then suddenly burst into laughter. ”Well then! Huai Shi, just as you wish, I will go all out! So—don’t lose too quickly!”

In that moment, the Prince on the White Horse once again raised the Treasure Sword in his hand. The upright Sword Blade reflected his handsome face, as solemn as a prayer. He called out to the distance.

”—Lady, please sing for me!”

Then, gentle harp music rose, dreamlike.

Behind the curtain to the left of the stage, the silhouette of a Teenage Girl emerged. She strummed a harp and hummed softly, as if a song from centuries ago, piercing through time, was reemerging in the present.
