Alchemy Master

Chapter 556, Awakening Spirit Seal

“Manor Master, please come in.” After Shen Fangu accepted the Spirit Seed, Qin Yichen stepped aside from the door.

The three of them entered the room.

Qin Yichen and Shen Fangu sat facing each other, while Shen Ling stood behind Shen Fangu.

“I wonder how long the Manor Master has been at the Peak Spiritual Rupture Realm?”

Qin Yichen directly asked.

Clearly, he intended to give Shen Fangu some guidance.

If Shen Fangu could advance to become an Earth Grade Alchemy Master, then he would be able to take control of the Shen Family.

Having a Family with an Earth Grade Alchemy Master behind him would certainly be helpful.

“Eh?” Shen Fangu was momentarily stunned, then immediately realised what was happening. He forcibly suppressed the excitement in his heart and sighed softly, “To tell the truth, it’s been only seven or eight years.”

In the Imperial City, most of those geniuses had reached his level while young or middle-aged. From this, one could see that Shen Fangu’s talent could only be considered average.

Without any special circumstances, Shen Fangu would definitely be stuck at this level for life, with no possibility of advancing further.

“Oh.” Qin Yichen was not particularly surprised.

“I know that with my talent, I’ll never be able to touch the threshold of the next realm in my lifetime…” Shen Fangu said with a bitter smile. However, deep in his eyes as he looked at Qin Yichen, there was still a glimmer of expectation.

Obviously, he still hoped to advance another step.

The difference between an Earth Grade Alchemy Master and a Human Grade Alchemy Master was enormous—like the difference between Heaven and Earth. As long as there was even the slightest hope, no one would give up.

Shen Fangu was the same.

“That’s not necessarily true.” The corner of Qin Yichen’s mouth curved into a slight arc.

In the Imperial City, naturally no one had the ability to guide someone to breakthrough to become an Earth Grade Alchemy Master, because they themselves were muddled and confused when they broke through to the Earth Grade.

But Qin Yichen was different.

He was very clear about the difference between Human Grade Alchemy Masters and Earth Grade Alchemy Masters.

In common understanding, to breakthrough to Earth Grade, one either had to activate the Divine Hands of the Spiritual Body or activate the Divine Eyes. However, no one understood specifically how to activate them.

But Qin Yichen knew.

The Spiritual Body was condensed from Spiritual Energy and existed in the Knowledge Sea. At this time, the Spiritual Body possessed no consciousness whatsoever—it was merely a mass of extremely condensed Spiritual Energy.

To activate the functions of the Spiritual Body, the first thing one had to do was to awaken the Spiritual Body, making it no longer just a mass of energy, but an individual entity!

All Alchemy Masters knew that Earth Grade Alchemy Masters needed to activate either the Divine Hands or Divine Eyes of their Spiritual Body. They focused on these two details but ignored the existence of the Spiritual Body itself.

Actually, there was a difference between the Spiritual Body and a Martial Artist’s Martial Body Bead.

Originally, the Knowledge Sea was where a person’s Soul resided, and the Spiritual Body was actually equivalent to a person’s Soul!

When a person’s Spiritual Energy could communicate with their Spiritual Body, they had already touched the threshold of Earth Grade Alchemy Master.

Communicating with the Spiritual Body—it could be said to be difficult and easy at the same time. It mainly depended on individual comprehension. Easy if they knew, hard if they did not.

For Qin Yichen, guiding someone to communicate with their own Spiritual Body was not particularly difficult.

However, if he were to do this now, he would actually be taking a great risk.

Because during the guidance process, his Spiritual Energy had to enter the guided person’s Knowledge Sea.

If at that time the guided person harboured ill intentions, he could very likely suffer injury, or even severe trauma.

At Shen Fangu’s signal, Shen Ling went outside to guard the door.

“Manor Master, relax your mind and don’t resist at all, otherwise…” Qin Yichen said to Shen Fangu with a serious expression.

“En.” Shen Fangu naturally understood the critical aspects involved.

Allowing another person to enter one’s Knowledge Sea without resistance was actually a very dangerous thing. His willingness to let Qin Yichen do this was also a demonstration of his trust in Qin Yichen.

He sat cross-legged on the ground, slowly relaxing his mind, his entire being entering a sleep-like state.

At this moment, Qin Yichen also slowly closed his eyes, extending his Spiritual Energy and infiltrating Shen Fangu’s Knowledge Sea.

Even though Shen Fangu had already relaxed and was not resisting his entry, he still felt a suffocating pressure.

Shen Fangu’s Spiritual Energy surged like tidal waves, rising and falling, pressing down on him.

However, this did not trouble Qin Yichen. His Spiritual Energy moved like a swimming fish, weaving through the waves and approaching where the Spiritual Body was located.

In the middle, Qin Yichen saw a figure similar to Shen Fangu.

“Manor Master, pay attention.” Qin Yichen’s voice rang out in Shen Fangu’s Knowledge Sea. Then, his Spiritual Energy transformed into a palm and directly covered the head of that Spiritual Body.

This scene would frighten anyone out of their wits and they would definitely resist, but Shen Fangu remained unchanged.

“Open!” The palm covered the head of the Spiritual Body, transforming into an intricate, complex, seemingly obscure seal. With Qin Yichen’s shout, the Spiritual Body that had originally sat motionless like a piece of wood suddenly trembled violently.

Then, Qin Yichen directly withdrew his Spiritual Energy.

This seal was called the Awakening Spirit Seal.

What Qin Yichen could do was only this much. Whether Shen Fangu could succeed would depend on himself.

From morning to noon.

Shen Fangu maintained his cross-legged sitting position without moving.

It was not until afternoon that Shen Fangu leisurely awakened. The moment he opened his eyes, Qin Yichen sensed that the aura around him had undergone some subtle changes.

“Congratulations, Manor Master, on successfully communicating with your Spiritual Body.” Qin Yichen’s voice reached his ears.

Looking at the smiling youth before him, Shen Fangu opened and closed his mouth but did not know what to say.

He had truly successfully communicated with his Spiritual Body!

Although he had yet to activate his Divine Hands, for him, that was only a matter of time.

He had not expected that something he could not even begin to comprehend, something that even the entire Imperial Dynasty could not explain clearly, had been easily accomplished by this youth.

The ability to guide someone to communicate with their Spiritual Body!

What kind of Heaven-defying ability was this?

Of course, Shen Fangu also understood the risks involved. He feared that with the slightest mistake, both of them would suffer backlash.

At the same time, what shocked him even more was Qin Yichen’s control over Spiritual Energy.

It had reached a level of precision that he could only look up to.

“Have you already broken through past the Understanding Realm?” When asking this question, Shen Fangu himself did not notice that his voice was trembling.

In Heavenly Dragon Imperial City, even those few Earth Grade Alchemy Masters who were openly acknowledged had not actually broken through past the Understanding Realm—they were still at the Peak of the Understanding Realm.

“En.”

Qin Yichen hesitated slightly, but still nodded.
