Chapter 1451  Hi There, Itʼs Been A While

”My Prince, we need you to come see this yourself. Itʼs a serious matter.”

”Youʼre saying you two found a treasure and that filthy human attacked you?”

”Yes, he couldnʼt defeat us. He has a few tricks, but we dealt a deadly blow to him. If not for the fact that he self-destructed his Peak Venerable puppets, he wouldʼve been dead by now.”

”Whereʼs the treasure now?”

”Thatʼs the thing, we canʼt take it out of the place, if not, itʼll not be as effective as it is there.”

The Seventh Prince took a close look at the duo who had their heads bowed. These were the two people who he sent out to follow Robert to apprehend the human girl, he never expected something like this would happen that would cause a fight to break out between them.

”Humans are always greedy, hence their decline.” The Seventh Prince snorted and stood up.

”Take me there, we should be fast before that guy comes back with reinforcement.” He ordered.

”Donʼt worry my Prince, thereʼs no way other humans will be as unruly as him to come there, except for ʼhimʼ.” One of the Gnomes said.

When the Gnome said ʼhimʼ, the Seventh Prince knew who he was talking about and snorted coldly.

”Heʼs not here, if he is we wouldʼve gotten wind of it and ended that bastard.”

The duo didnʼt speak and led the Prince out. For precautionary measures, the Prince took two more Peak Venerables with him. Thereʼs a chance that humans would come to the place, so there was no harm in being prepared.

….

As the duo led the Prince over, Grey was standing with Robert, amazed at how easy it was for him to control them. After Robert finished working on the first guy, he asked for the other one which Grey gave to him. It took some hours, but he finished working on both and they completely forgot what happened prior to the attack. In fact, they didnʼt have the knowledge of them leaving the Gnome camp.

”Are you sure this thing doesnʼt mess with their heads later?” Grey couldnʼt help but ask. He found it surprising that something like this didnʼt have any side-effects.

”None of the people Iʼve controlled has ever shown any signs of side-effects. I made sure to complete my study before actually putting it to use on my siblings. A few people died in the process, but it is for a just cause.” Robert explained.

”Thereʼs nothing particularly ʼjustʼ about this. But as long as youʼre not doing it to anyone close to me, and youʼre under me, youʼre Iʼm good.” Grey didnʼt see anything wrong with what Robert was doing. When he was trying to remove the mark, he did a lot of experiments before finding out that he could use life force to remove it.

A lot of people were sacrificed in the end, and thanks to their sacrifice, he was also able to remove the mark from someone else as well, saving the personʼs life in the process.

”Make sure one of them is standing close to one of the people sent here. Iʼd like it if the two of them are standing side by side, if you can not do that, just ensure one of those guys is standing next to them.” Grey ordered.

Robert understood what Grey meant by this. Grey was planning to use the same attack method he used when they went to that island. Switch places with one and kill the unsuspecting one, while Robert handles the one he switched places with, leaving the Prince all alone.

To be honest, this was a very unique and frightening skill. If caught off-guard, no one, unless the personʼs cultivation level is well above Greyʼs own, could block it.

Grey waited patiently for the group to arrive. After a few minutes of waiting, Grey saw the silhouettes arriving from the distance, even before the person leading could be seen, Grey already knew who it was.

”Haha, who wouldʼve thought itʼs this guy again.” He laughed at the sight of the Seventh Prince.

He never thought the Seventh Prince would be the one there. There had been so many encounters between the two and Grey has always come out on top whenever they clashed.

ʼThis will be fun.ʼ He smiled.

Robert heard Greyʼs statement and thought about what Grey made him say. Now he understood the meaning behind the word ʼhimʼ, and why the Prince had such reactions to it.

Robert did as told and ensured that the duo who accompanied the Prince were standing close to each other. It wasnʼt difficult since all he had to do was to make the two guys he was controlling stand on the same side and discuss certain issues under their breath. The other two naturally teamed up.

The Seventh Prince couldnʼt be bothered with what was happening. He told them to find the girl once they were done with this.

As they headed closer to the place, the Seventh Prince felt unsettled, for some reason, he felt something was wrong.

ʼSince I encountered him, Iʼve been worrying whenever I leave the castle.ʼ

Although the Prince didnʼt want to accept it, he couldnʼt deny the fact that Grey had cast a shadow on his head which was playing with him.

The sooner Grey was caught and killed, the better his life would be.

ʼI just need to end him. Even if not personally, at least I should be involved in it.ʼ

The Prince was lost in thought when he suddenly felt a fluctuation in the space behind him.

His pupils dilated because he was familiar with this thing. He had experienced it before and knew who it belonged to. Before he could react, it was too late.

Grey had switched places with one of the men behind him and he attacked the other one the second he appeared, immobilizing him with a single attack.

The other guy wasnʼt as fortunate as this one, Robert directly killed him.

”Hi there, itʼs been a while.” Grey waved with a grin on his face.
