Chapter 2047: Chapter 2048: Entering the Castle

When Angel saw the castle, the words of Bee Blair immediately flashed in his mind.

The Misty Goldlady lives in a huge castle.

There was no doubt that this castle must be the residence of the Misty Goldlady.

The style of this castle was something Angel had never seen before. It was composed of multiple spires, resembling a cathedral at first glance. However, the castle’s exterior had a silvery-white metallic sheen, absorbing the light sources falling on its concave areas and making the entire castle glow with a dazzling white light.

Because it was too glaring, it was difficult to see the castle’s full details with the naked eye. Angel directly activated his enhanced sight in his right eye, intending to examine the castle’s details.

But when Angel activated his right eye, the first thing he noticed was not the details of the castle, but a figure within the window on the third floor, right above the castle gate.

Angel did not see the appearance of the figure. The person had long black waterfall-like hair, obscuring their face completely.

Generally speaking, seeing a head of black hair would make one think the person might have their back to the window.

Angel was certain she was facing front, not back, because of her faintly glowing hands, which were touching the window.

Moreover, Angel could feel that the person’s gaze was penetrating through the black hair, fixed on him.

Angel didn’t know if she had noticed him before he activated his right eye, nor how long she had been observing him. But just as Angel looked at her, attempting to scrutinize her carefully, the figure behind the window suddenly flickered and vanished.

Angel didn’t know if she was the rumored Misty Goldlady, but those hands seemed very much like the ones that had embraced him earlier and brought him into the Duling Garden.

Angel pondered for a moment and then flew into the concave area from the mountain’s edge.

Since he had been discovered, there was no need to hide. Besides, this place was the domain of creatures from the Nightmare Realm, and there are countless ways to kill him if they truly intended to. Additionally, since he was now ”Shava,” it would be laughable to act cowardly and hide.

Angel proactively entered the Mushroom Little Garden outside the castle, walking towards the castle with a calm demeanor.

Many of the mushrooms in the Little Garden were unlike those in the outside world, appearing somewhat menacing... For example, there was a terrifying huge mushroom in the left front, continuously oozing magma with numerous Fire Elemental Life jumping around it.

These Fire Elemental Life forms were completely different from the ones forcefully created in the Magma Lake earlier; they were undoubtedly mature and each wore a fierce expression, scanning their surroundings with bloodthirsty eyes as if ready to attack at any moment.

Another example was a dark green mushroom standing by a small pool a hundred meters on the right side, although small in size, it emanated dark green toxic gas, evident because no other creatures were nearby, and human skeletons lay scattered on the barren ground.

Besides this, there was a spinning mushroom with long mycelium waving, resembling a carousel in Paradise, but with human bones bound on its mycelium.

All horrifying mushrooms unseen outside were gathered here.

Outwardly, Angel appeared calm, but inwardly, he remained extremely cautious, especially when he saw a creature resembling a Sea Urchin but many times larger rolling toward him, his wariness peaked.

Nevertheless, the gigantic Sea Urchin did not attack him; it merely rolled past him slowly.

At the moment they crossed paths, Angel noticed that the so-called ”Sea Urchin” was also a type of mushroom. Its body was a sphere surrounded by spikes, all black, sticky mycelium. However, these mycelium were very hard and did not soften upon contact with the ground, allowing it to roll smoothly.

Although the Sea Urchin didn’t attack him, Angel didn’t relax his guard until he confirmed the Sea Urchin disappeared at the end of the path.

Angel continued walking, appearing without any abnormality, but he chose a path that avoided those terrifying mushrooms.

Nothing unexpected happened along the way.

Angel took the opportunity to reach out with his spiritual power, curious whether there was a mushroom forum here.

As it turned out, there really was one.

However, compared to the outside Mushroom Forest, many mushrooms here were silent and didn’t transmit any emotions. But that didn’t mean the mushrooms in this Little Garden were restrained because the few that spoke carried far more explosive content than the outside Mushroom Forest.

”By the Queen above, your venom corroded another one of my feet, do you want to duel with me!”

”The human Lord Crazy fed yesterday was clearly left by my side, and while I wasn’t paying attention, you snatched a leg. So I corroded your foot, which seems fair!”

”That human is utterly non-nutritious, but my foot has taken me so much effort to cultivate since I arrived here, it’s incomparable! I must duel with you, right in front of Lord Nuka, turning you into my nourishment!”

”You shall be my nourishment!”

This was a conversation between the dark green mushroom Rafael had seen earlier and the tall, slender mushroom resembling a big tree next to it.

”Stop arguing, haven’t you noticed that Lord Crazy is quieter than usual?” A new voice chimed in, coming from the spinning mushroom Angel had seen before.

”I know, it’s because Lord Shava... has arrived.”

”Yes, do you want to duel in front of Lord Shava? Aren’t you scared that Lord Shava might turn you into fertilizer?”

Perhaps the spinning mushroom’s persuasion worked, as the two mushrooms that were on the brink of fighting quieted down. Simultaneously, the mushroom forum fell silent.

However, not long afterward, Angel caught a message filled with joy.

”I mustered up the courage to nonchalantly pass by Lord Shava earlier, thinking I would be killed, but instead, Lord Shava not only didn’t kill me but also gave me a glance. I’m so happy!”

Angel: ”...” Angel didn’t have to look specially to know this emotion’s source was surely that Sea Urchin mushroom.

He had been on edge the whole time, unaware that the Sea Urchin mushroom had such thoughts.

Angel found it absurdly amusing, but at the same time, more puzzled by Shava’s identity.

The convenience Shava’s identity brought was now fully apparent, but the more it was like this, the more it scared Angel. Was their certainty of him being Shava because he would ultimately be replaced by Shava?

Angel dared not delve deeper, for now, what was more important was to leave.

No one spoke on the mushroom forum, and Angel safely arrived near the castle.

Through the open wrought iron gate, Angel could clearly see what was in front of the castle.

A white statue standing in the center of the fountain and a tall pure white mushroom directly in front of the fountain.
