Chapter 2007: Chapter 2008: Illusion Technique Message

Sanders thought for a moment: ”I’ll go and tell Greya, I just happen to be going back to Illusion Demon Island later.”

Angel nodded. Sanders had the log-in device, and he could also directly use the Nightmare Illusion to bring Greya into the Wilderness of Dreams. Leaving it to Sanders was no problem.

However, Angel noticed that after Sanders mentioned this, his expression became slightly contemplative.

Under Angel’s puzzled gaze, Sanders slowly said, ”Good sent me a message earlier. Sumishe sent an illusion message and is currently staying at Illusion Demon Island. I’m going to the island mainly because of that.”

Angel remembered previously asking the butler Good about Flora and Sumishe. The butler said they left a month ago and their whereabouts were unknown; since Flora had prepared a lot for the Tea Party, Good speculated they might return before it.

However, not only have they not returned, but Sumishe sent an illusion message, which is somewhat strange.

”Let’s hope it’s not a cry for help,” Angel murmured.

Sanders: ”If they faced a life-and-death crisis, given Sumishe and Flora’s personalities, they wouldn’t rely on outsiders right away. But if it’s some troublesome issue, the likelihood of them seeking my help is high. And these two, though not as adept as you at causing trouble, aren’t far behind either.”

Sanders sighed, rubbing his temples: ”Let’s hope it’s not a big trouble.”

Angel: ”...I don’t recall causing any trouble?”

Sanders glanced at him lightly: ”You’ve caused plenty. However, you tend to balance the troubles you cause with equal benefits. As for them, they just cause trouble outright.”

After finishing, Sanders shook his head: ”I’ll head to Illusion Demon Island first. Everything else will be discussed tomorrow.”

With that, Sanders picked up the wine glass from the table, drank the remaining wine in one gulp, nodded to Angel, and his figure gradually faded away into nothingness.

After Sanders left, Angel muttered, ”Have I really caused trouble? Have I?”

Angel pondered for a while and thought to himself: Probably not.

Forget it, don’t think about it. Angel shook his head, cast off his chaotic thoughts, and also left the Wilderness of Dreams.

...

Angel returned to reality. Unlike usual, he didn’t enter into introspection but instead looked around quietly thinking. He wasn’t contemplating whether he had caused trouble but was considering the matter of the hidden room.

When he left the Star Pond Ruins, that sudden inspiration didn’t seem like his thoughts being coerced.

According to Sanders and the Tree Spirit, perhaps the Star Pond Ruins really have some connection with the ruins he currently resides in. He’s been in this ruin for a long time, soaking up its atmosphere, hence resonating with the Star Pond Ruins, which is what sparked his inspiration.

If this deduction is correct, then the hidden room in this ruin must be approached seriously.

Previously, Angel considered: After all, living here and the owner of the ruin being an Alchemist, if he could find the hidden room, he’d look for it hoping for some benefit.

Whether found or not, Angel didn’t truly care.

But now, having deduced the connection between this ruin and the Star Pond Ruins, searching for this hidden room becomes imperative. Perhaps, the hidden room here holds information related to the ruin beneath the Star Pond.

The only clue they have to find the hidden room in this ruin is the broken magic pattern on the knight’s armor.

With this thought, Angel placed the knight’s armor on the table, deciding to once again attempt repairing the broken magic pattern.

Time flew by, and the Morning Star pierced the night sky. With the bright illumination of the outside world, it became the next morning.

”Attention, an external entity has entered the Wilderness of Dreams!”

Angel, still absorbed in repairing the broken magic pattern, was startled by a message from the Gate of Dreams.

Angel rubbed his slightly sore eyes, placing his chaotic thoughts on the Ability Tree.

As his thoughts slowly detached, they eventually merged with the Gate of Dreams. In his vision, a pitch-black world appeared, with the only glowing object being a bridge.

This bridge was the Dream Bridge.

At the end of the Dream Bridge was a glowing entrance. This entrance was the so-called Gate of Dreams.

In front of the entrance stood a plump woman dressed extravagantly like a mountain of meat, peering curiously into the glowing entrance as if trying to discern the situation within.

Meanwhile, Angel sensed another message from the Gate of Dreams: ”Attention, the marked individual has entered the Wilderness of Dreams!”

Sanders directly entered the Wilderness of Dreams, and the one resembling the mountain of meat in front of the Gate of Dreams was undoubtedly Greya.

Through the authority of the Gate of Dreams, Angel closely observed Greya. It had been a long time since he’d seen Greya’s original form, and at first glance, he almost didn’t recognize her.

That Greya appeared in the Wilderness of Dreams in her original form was expected by Angel, as in Greya’s mind, this is how she naturally looked, and with her aesthetic, she enjoyed such an appearance.

”It seems Mentor brought Greya in.” Angel waved his hand, allowing Greya to enter the Wilderness of Dreams through the Gate of Dreams and set it so that she doesn’t need further reminders for future entries.

”I wonder what Greya’s reaction will be upon seeing the Wilderness of Dreams?” Although Angel was curious to see Greya’s reaction, he ultimately chose not to enter the Wilderness of Dreams.

After all, Greya must have many questions upon entering the Wilderness of Dreams for the first time, and Angel didn’t want to be continuously answering these questions.

Moreover, Angel was unsure about how much information regarding the Wilderness of Dreams to disclose to Greya, but Sanders surely had it in mind, so Angel found no need to enter now.

Greya should first get a basic understanding of the Wilderness of Dreams, and later on, it wouldn’t be too late to meet.

With this thought, Angel withdrew his thoughts from the Ability Tree, refocused on the knight’s armor in front of him.

Upon gazing again at the broken magic pattern on the armor, Angel felt a dizzy spell. Last night, he attempted to repair the broken magic pattern on it.

In another attempt, Angel’s final result was still a failure.

Just like the previous try, it was utterly unresolvable.

Primarily because these broken magic patterns were too fragmented, each edge possessing over a hundred arrangement possibilities, who knew which was correct?

Furthermore, finally determining what magical energy array these arranged broken magic patterns formed was insanely challenging.

Even with his Super Brain State fully activated, he couldn’t come up with a good strategy overnight.

Though it might not look all that difficult, these broken magic patterns now seemed to Angel like an insurmountable mountain.

”Does it really mean spending years to repair this magic pattern?” Angel held his forehead, speaking to himself in frustration.
