Chapter 1885: Section 1886: Arriving at the City

Angel’s words did not draw Frode’s attention, but the City Lord of Monroe suddenly had a flash of light in her eyes: Is Lord Angel implying that planning to develop beyond the city walls?

As the City Lord, Monroe actually knows little about the area beyond the city. However, she is aware that although the Sin Hunting Group frequently visits the Demonic Fiend’s laboratory outside the city, they are also quite unaware of what lies truly beyond.

And now, as the superior of Young Master Tyson, the master of the new world, he has spoken directly about letting the Sin Hunting Group delve into the core territory of the Alien Clan. It is evident that the Sin Hunting Group is to venture beyond the city walls?!

Thinking of this, Monroe’s heart surged with waves; ordinary residents are full of curiosity about the land outside Originheart City, let alone herself? However, despite the turmoil in her emotions, Monroe’s expression remained calm, still standing a meter behind Frode, without saying a word.

”The ones coming are just little fellows?” Frode softly repeated Angel’s words. ”My Lord, didn’t the Vine Demoness come?”

Vine Demoness? Monroe maintained a composed expression, but her ears quietly perked up. She wants to know what lies beyond the city and naturally has great interest in the Alien Clan outside.

”The Vine Demoness is stationed at the mother tree, commanding the tribe to build the city, and hasn’t come over.” Angel paused: ”However, once these little fellows relay the news of Originheart City back, the Vine Demoness will probably make a move.”

Frode nodded, understanding Angel’s meaning. However, Monroe, standing behind Frode, was full of questions upon hearing this.

Monroe saw Frode and Angel seemed uninterested in delving deeper into this topic, so after hesitating for a moment, she took the initiative: ”Young Master Tyson, is the Vine Demoness the king of the Alien Clan?”

Frode glanced at Monroe and nodded: ”Sort of.”

Monroe had a look of realization. From their conversation, the implication was that the aliens visiting Originheart City today would definitely report back to the Vine Demoness about the city; what consequences might arise?

If these consequences bring disaster... should they attempt to detain these aliens? Prevent them from delivering the message?

Monroe voiced her doubts, and after hearing them, Frode shook his head: ”Even if you keep these aliens here, it won’t be of any use. One day, we will inevitably meet the Alien Clan.”

”As for what consequence might arise once the Vine Demoness knows of Originheart City’s existence,” Frode shook his head: ”To be honest, I don’t know.”

However, Frode knows one thing: the Vine Demoness would absolutely not dare to truly invade Originheart City.

Jon is a permanent resident of Originheart City, and Angel’s brother frequently visits here. In such circumstances, no matter if the Vine Demoness breaks the mother tree’s edict of ’maintaining balance,’ Angel would definitely not let her succeed if she tries to act against the city.

Yet, Frode did not tell Monroe this point.

Life in Originheart City is too comfortable; a bit of crisis awareness is crucial.

As expected, upon hearing Frode’s words, Monroe’s expression turned somewhat grave. An unknown whether good or bad alien is definitely not good news for Originheart City.

Just as Monroe wanted to further inquire about information regarding the Alien Clan, Angel and Frode simultaneously looked toward the north, in the direction facing Sir Sabel.

Monroe followed their gaze and saw that the sky to the north, which was originally pale blue, was now slowly being stained with a light green hue.

”It’s coming.” Frode’s expression suddenly grew solemn. Though both his and Monroe’s vision could only discern a thin green line in the sky, having previously ventured into the green mist, he could imagine the massive wave of fog rolling in behind the green line, extending crazily like tendrils.

As Frode anticipated, when the thin green line became visible to the naked eye, it symbolized that the green mist wasn’t far from Originheart City. With its extraordinary speed of spread, its true body soon manifested.

”What is that... what is it?!” Monroe gasped, covering her mouth in disbelief as she watched the surging green mist approaching.

It seemed like fog, but could fog have such a color and such a rapid spread? Monroe had never seen anything like it, but this scene reminded her of the sight of thousands of horses galloping across a prairie when she was still alive.

The distant mist resembled the galloping of thousands of horses! Could it be that there are powerful creatures racing within? When these creatures trample the earth, the dust they stir up forms this green mist?

Monroe shared similar thoughts and exclamations with the Demon Hunters standing on the watchtower.

When Sir Sabel saw the new green appear on the distant horizon, his entire body immediately tensed up.

The inexplicable change appearing on the horizon undoubtedly signaled the arrival of the Alien Clan that Young Master Tyson had mentioned.

As Sabel stood with a solemn demeanor, he finally realized the truth corresponding to the edge of the green — Is it fog? Green fog?

Moreover, the fog spread so swiftly!

All the Demon Hunters who saw this scene instinctively imagined the truth behind the spread of fog; there must be countless creatures racing within!

Thinking of this, the hearts of the Demon Hunters couldn’t help but be filled with dread.

How many creatures are there in that contiguous line of green mist stretching across the skyline? Thousands or tens of thousands?

However, regardless of how many creatures there are, they knew one thing very well: they must stand at the forefront, becoming the staunchest wall to safeguard the safety of Originheart City!

No one retreated; all the Demon Hunters exhibited vigilance, with more parts of their bodies starting to assimilate with the Demonic Fiend. Although appearing extraordinarily fearsome, it made the city residents below feel safe.

As the green mist swiftly approached, the Demon Hunters finally noticed something amiss.

They thought the green mist spread from creatures racing, but now it seemed there were no creatures?

Though from afar the green mist looked dense, up close, it seemed fine. Although unable to see the reality within the fog, there was no sign of the supposed large creatures racing about.

In fact, it seemed there were no creatures at all?

However, despite that, the Demon Hunters remained tense, being ever vigilant.

Meanwhile, within the green mist, several Dream Plant Fairies were cooperating, with some enriching the soil, some controlling the vapor, some burying seeds, and others fostering the green fields.

They used their methods to adorn the barren earth.

While they were diligently working, one Dream Plant Fairy, about half a meter long and resembling an Ammonite Whirlgrass on its back, suddenly pointed in surprise towards the distance.

”Over there, seems like there’s a city wall?”
