Supreme Devouring God

Qin Chen stepped into the Dark Forest.

From time to time, distant roars of beasts echoed into Qin Chen’s ears.

After taking a couple of steps, Qin Chen stopped and pondered for a moment before saying to Little Strange, ”Little Strange! You go tame the Demon Beasts and then meet up with me!”

The Dark Earth Dragon must be in the deep part of this Dark Forest.

And within this Dark Forest, there are many Demon Beasts, which are a force not to be underestimated.

For now, Qin Chen doesn’t know the full extent of the Dark Earth Dragon’s might, so he’s letting Little Strange go tame the Demon Beasts. If the Dark Earth Dragon is too powerful, Little Strange can mobilize the Demon Beast army to help Qin Chen complete the task.

”Alright!”

”Big brother, wait for me to lead the Demon Beast army to rendezvous with you!” Little Strange jumped off Qin Chen’s shoulder.

Little Strange headed deeper into another part of the Dark Forest.

Qin Chen continued to go straight into the depths.

Whenever he encountered a Demon Beast, Qin Chen would almost always slay it with a mere wave of his hand.

”Hmm?”

”Demon Beasts at the Tongtian Realm are starting to appear!”

Qin Chen looked at the ’Earth Blood Lion’ rushing towards him; its massive body was seven to eight times the size of Qin Chen.

”Boom!”

But, Qin Chen simply raised his hand and punched lightly, killing it instantly.

”Qin Chen! Look carefully at the body of that Earth Blood Lion!” Little Fairy suddenly prompted.

Qin Chen squatted down and used the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade to cut open the skin of the Earth Blood Lion.

Logically, the inside of an Earth Blood Lion should be blood-red, but at this moment, the inside of this Earth Blood Lion was entirely black, as if it was stained with a poisonous substance.

”Is it poisoned?”

Qin Chen frowned slightly.

Having received the Medical Saint Inheritance, he couldn’t see any poison affecting the Earth Blood Lion.

Little Fairy shook her head and said, ”It’s not poison! This Earth Blood Lion has been corrupted by the ’Dark Power’!”

”If I’m guessing correctly, the Demon Beasts you will encounter next should all be like the Earth Blood Lion.”

Qin Chen continued forward.

Things were indeed as Little Fairy had said.

All the Demon Beasts he encountered had black insides, severely corrupted by Dark Power.

”This kind of environment is definitely an ideal growth environment for the Dark Earth Dragon!”

”This task of yours will not be easy to complete!” Little Fairy said.

At this moment.

Qin Chen had gradually entered a dark wetland.

The air was permeated with a dark, moist smell.

The entire forest seemed devoid of any light shining through the gaps of the trees.

Darkness was the only color in this place.

Qin Chen’s eyes glowed with the Void-breaking Light, capturing the scenes of this dark region completely.

He moved forward slowly.

The place was filled with an eerie atmosphere everywhere.

Darkness gradually covered Qin Chen’s body and even poured into him.

”Not good!”

”The Dark Power here is too intense! It’s invading my body. If this continues, I fear it will completely cover me!”

Qin Chen’s expression changed slightly, and he quickly tried to retreat.

But the Dark Power seemed to have found its target; despite Qin Chen’s retreat, the boundless darkness continued to engulf him.

He seemed marked!

”Qin Chen! Retreating now is useless!”

”And from what I see, what you’re experiencing now might not necessarily be a bad thing!” Little Fairy said.

”Not necessarily a bad thing?”

Qin Chen was puzzled for a moment, ”What do you mean?”

”The power of darkness is eerie and brings an indescribable heaviness.”

”You might as well try to comprehend this power.” Little Fairy suggested.

”Comprehend?”

Qin Chen raised an eyebrow, hesitated for a moment, and then sat cross-legged where he was.

He closed his eyes, completely giving up resisting the infiltration of darkness.

The boundless darkness seemed to want to engulf everything and plunge all into an endless Hell.

Gradually.

Qin Chen seemed to enter a strange state.

”Woooo—Woooo—Woooo—”

Meanwhile.

A very odd and spine-chilling sound began.

Upon hearing the sound, Qin Chen seemed to awaken suddenly, and the Conception Strings appeared beside him without him realizing.

He kept his eyes closed.

His fingers began to pluck the zither string.

”Weng—Weng—Weng—”

Strange sounds echoed in harmony with the previous sound, slowly forming a counterbalance.

”Could this be…”

The eyes of the Little Fairy inside the God Devouring Crystal widened, seemingly understanding what awaited Qin Chen next.

In the boundless darkness.

A young man was entrenched here, for several hours, without moving an inch.

His entire being seemed to have merged into the darkness—not plunged into it, but merged.

”Boom, boom, boom!”

However, just at that moment.

The earth began to tremble slightly, as if something immense was approaching.

Under normal circumstances, Qin Chen would have been alerted and vigilant.

But at this moment.

Qin Chen was completely immersed in a meditation-like sudden insight state, causing him to forget where he was.

Little Fairy’s expression changed slightly, she quickly unleashed Soul Power.

”It’s the Dark Earth Dragon!”

Several thousand meters away from Qin Chen, a massive twenty-meter-tall black dragon was gradually approaching the dark wetland.

Its feet alone were about one meter long.

With one step, it created a half-meter-deep footprint on the ground, causing the earth to shake.

”Damn!”

Little Fairy glanced at Qin Chen, still unsure whether to wake him.

After all, the state Qin Chen had entered was rare, and most crucially, Little Fairy wasn’t certain if abruptly waking Qin Chen might harm him.

The Dark Earth Dragon drew nearer and nearer.

If earlier the earth only shook slightly.

Then now, the tremors were very intense; even the leaves on a giant Sky tree behind Qin Chen were shaking.

Qin Chen remained unaware of everything outside.

Eyes closed, immersed in this dark world.

”Roar!”

Suddenly, the Dark Earth Dragon seemed to notice Qin Chen, and it let out a thunderous roar, its watermelon-sized black eye instantly fixed on Qin Chen’s location.

”Boom!”

In the next moment, it started moving its heavy steps.

Despite seeming unwieldy due to its size, it ran surprisingly fast, like a storm.

”No way! I must wake Qin Chen!”

Seeing the situation reach this point, Little Fairy quickly made a decision, preparing to awaken Qin Chen at all costs.

Otherwise, Qin Chen may be swallowed by the Dark Earth Dragon.

But at the critical juncture.

Qin Chen’s tightly shut eyes suddenly opened!
