Supreme Devouring God

Haan Yu gazed at Qin Chen with an icy expression.

”This is just a competition. What were you doing just now?!”

Qin Chen merely cast a dismissive glance at him: ”I didn’t hear him concede.”

Uh!

Qin Chen’s words left everyone speechless, immediately bringing to mind what Yiu Bingran did earlier.

Intentionally pretending not to hear Li Linfeng’s concession, thereby crushing Li Linfeng’s shoulder?

”Primordial Clan’s Haan Yu, challenges Heavenly Blade Saint Sect’s Qin Chen!”

Haan Yu’s handsome face was shrouded in cold aura, causing the surrounding temperature to drop by a few degrees.

”Wow!”

The Inner Hall erupted in noise.

Another champion contender is set to challenge Qin Chen!

Though Qin Chen stunned everyone earlier by defeating Huo Lianjing, it doesn’t mean he can defeat Haan Yu.

If Qin Chen accepts the challenge, this battle will become Haan Yu’s first fight in the contention for the rankings!

Even in the Ancient Battle Hall, he hadn’t lifted a finger, and upon just seeing Haan Yu, most would obediently surrender.

”Challenge me?”

Qin Chen squinted at Haan Yu; this man is certainly a formidable opponent.

But he’s gravely mistaken if he thinks Qin Chen is weak!

”Qin Chen, refuse the fight.”

Suddenly, Ouyang Panxue quietly whispered beside Qin Chen.

Qin Chen turned in surprise to look at Ouyang Panxue, asking, ”Paanxue Senior Sister, what are you doing?”

Ouyang Panxue instead directed her gaze to Haan Yu: ”Heavenly Blade Saint Sect’s Ouyang Panxue, challenges, Primordial Clan’s Haan Yu!”

The atmosphere abruptly froze.

Many people looked odd, even Qin Chen was taken aback.

Haan Yu challenged Qin Chen, and now Ouyang Panxue is turning to challenge Haan Yu?

What is this? Protection?

”Paanxue Senior Sister, what is this?”

Qin Chen was somewhat puzzled; he didn’t understand why Ouyang Panxue suddenly stood up to fight Haan Yu on his behalf.

”If I don’t step up, wouldn’t people think there’s no one in the Heavenly Blade Saint Sect?”

Ouyang Panxue coldly replied.

Qin Chen was instantly enlightened.

Turns out, Ouyang Panxue couldn’t bear the sight of so many challenging him, so she stood out.

But was it just for the Heavenly Blade Saint Sect?

Dao Xiaoyao’s autumn water eyes stared intently at Ouyang Panxue, pursing her lips.

”Miss Ouyang, although your strength is impressive, believe me, there remains some gap between us!”

”I don’t like being said to bully women!”

Haan Yu gazed at Ouyang Panxue, his tone carrying a hint of levity.

”To fight or not to fight?”

There were few words from Ouyang Panxue; normally her speech was cold, but now it seemed even colder.

Haan Yu’s mouth curled: ”If Miss Ouyang insists on fighting me, how could I refuse?”

”I’m just afraid Miss Ouyang will be disheartened.”

If his previous sentence was some slight at Ouyang Panxue,

then this one was outright mockery.

”Wow!”

Ouyang Panxue gripped the Snow Cold Blade, casually slashing downward, immediately forming a two-meter long icy sword qi, causing ice shards to form in the air.

”Talking of setbacks without even battling?”

Ouyang Panxue lightly tapped her jade foot on the ground, soaring into the air above the battle platform.

Her Saint Maiden Robe fluttered in mid-air, her black hair moving without wind, as if a celestial goddess descended.

”Although Ouyang Panxue defeated Huo Yuxiao, Zhang Du earlier, neither of these two were among the top tier on the battle platform right now. If she thinks Haan Yu is not much stronger than Zhang Du, Huo Yuxiao, then she’s gravely mistaken!”

”Haan Yu is a rare genius from the Primordial Clan over the years, his inherent elemental power thrice the density of ordinary people, quite terrifying!”

”Ouyang Panxue’s reckless challenge to Haan Yu, there’s no chance of victory!”

...

Haan Yu casually glanced at the airborne Miss Ouyang, ”Then, Miss Ouyang, don’t hold back, attack with full force!”

”Ice Cold Strike!”

Ouyang Panxue executed the first move of the Snow Cold Blade Technique that had previously knocked Huo Yuxiao off the battle platform.

Wielding the Snow Cold Blade, the terrifying extreme cold sword intent left behind snowflakes wherever it passed.

The Snow Cold Blade Technique is a top-grade heavenly martial arts saber technique, of the same tier as Jiang Xie’s Evil Netherworld Saber Technique.

Yet, in Ouyang Panxue’s hands, the Snow Cold Blade Technique appeared to be several grades mightier than the Evil Netherworld Saber Technique.

This is the concept that good martial arts require good martial artists; only in unison can their true power be properly unleashed.

Haan Yu did not engage Ouyang Panxue head-on.

He held his hands behind his back, his figure interchanging, deftly dodging Ouyang Panxue’s blade.

”Miss Ouyang, if your ability is only at this level, then there’s no need for this battle.”

Haan Yu looked at Ouyang Panxue with disdain.

Ouyang Panxue’s strike did not even brush the hem of his garment, let alone defeat him.

”Certainly arrogant enough.”

Liuw Yifan gazed coldly at Haan Yu.

”Condensing Qi into Frost!”

Ouyang Panxue’s mental state seemed relatively unaffected by Haan Yu’s mockery.

The Snow Cold Blade gracefully arced through the air, forming a crescent-shaped saber energy that abruptly condensed into frost particles, quite resplendent.

With Qin Chen’s eye power, he could discern the immense icy killing intent hidden within each frost particle.

Each frost particle was likely sharper than any blade.

”Wow!”

Ouyang Panxue slashed once more towards Haan Yu.

Haan Yu still kept his hands behind his back, his feet shifting elegantly.

”Boom, boom, boom!”

In the end, Ouyang Panxue’s slash landed on an open area, where the frost particles hit the ground, exploding like bombs, instantly releasing a skyward burst of frost.

”Miss Ouyang, I’ll let you take another shot, thereafter, I’ll strike back!”

Ouyang Panxue’s blow still didn’t touch Haan Yu.

”The gap between Senior Sister Ouyang and Haan Yu is still too wide,” Su Yun sighed.

”That’s not necessarily true.”

Yet, Qin Chen smiled mysteriously.

Now, Ouyang Panxue softly exclaimed: ”Frost Explosion!”

Haan Yu assumed evading Ouyang Panxue’s strike marked its end.

Surrounded by the sky-high frost.

But as Ouyang Panxue softly uttered those words, the initially harmless-looking frost suddenly exploded!

”Boom!”

Amidst a thunderous explosion, countless frost particles erupted, instantly tearing through Haan Yu’s skin.

In a split second, blood oozed from pores or wounds, covering Haan Yu’s body, instantly transforming him into a blood man.

”So, can we battle now?”

Ouyang Panxue looked at Haan Yu on the battle platform, his whole body drenched in blood, face twisted, and calmly spoke.
