Slime Evolution

Chapter 444 - Beautiful View

As Isabella walked toward the couch, Lohan asked, casually, ”Do you need to take off the coat?”

”Oh, yeah, that probably helps, right?” She replied, a bit embarrassed, removing the black jacket and leaving it folded over the arm of the couch.

Even though Isabella wasn’t doing it on purpose, the sight of her taking off the jacket and revealing her pale shoulders was, to Lohan, far more sensual than he ever thought something like that could possibly be.

’When it’s someone beautiful doing something, everything turns into a cinematic scene, right?’ He thought, forcing himself to keep his mind focused and not let it affect him.

Wearing only the white lace dress and the long socks, Isabella lay back on the couch, her body shifting uncomfortably as she avoided, as much as possible, looking directly at Lohan.

’This is more embarrassing than I imagined it would be.’ she thought, feeling her own heart beat a little faster than normal.

Lohan, clearly noticing that silent discomfort of hers, chose not to comment on it, just keeping a discreet smile on his face as he pulled a chair from the dining room and positioned it facing the couch.

Sitting down, he stretched out both hands toward her arms.

Isabella looked even further away, staring fixedly at an imaginary spot on the ceiling, but as soon as she felt the touch of his hands against the skin of her arm, a familiar sensation began spreading through her body, immediately distracting her from her own embarrassment.

’Wait,’ she thought, surprised. ’This is... identical to what I feel in Elysium.’

The flow of biomass entering her was noticeably weaker and more subtle than the version she knew inside the game, the comfortable warmth spreading much more gently through the channels of her body, but the essence of that sensation was undeniably the same.

’That makes sense.’ she thought, considering that Lohan could only absorb a fraction of his Slime traits into his real body, and that the biomass available to him outside of Elysium was much more limited, since he had no monsters to digest out there.

’Maybe I can help him with that too...’

Even so, even as a diminished version of that energy, Isabella could clearly feel her own body absorbing it, bringing a strange, comforting nourishment that gradually relaxed her muscles, the same kind of comfort she felt during the sessions in Elysium.

Little by little, without her being able to consciously control it, the tension drained out of her body, her shoulders relaxed against the couch cushions, and her breathing grew slower and deeper.

And it was exactly at that moment of total relaxation, without Isabella noticing, that two small, soft white fox ears appeared on top of her head, sprouting among the strands of red hair with a literally magical naturalness.

Lohan, who was keeping the biomass flow steady while watching her reaction, felt his own eyes widen slightly at that unexpected sight.

’Wow,’ he thought, a mix of surprise and a quiet fondness spreading inside him. ’That is... really cute.’

He chose not to say anything, afraid of breaking that moment of genuine relaxation of hers, just continuing the process with the same care as before, while discreetly watching those little white ears twitch slightly with every small reaction of her body.

Lisa, still with her eyes closed and completely unaware of her own body, murmured quietly, almost in a relaxed sigh.

”This is nice,” she said, her voice coming out softer than usual. ”Way more pleasant than I expected.”

Lohan felt his own biomass, even in that human form of his in the real world, vibrate slightly at that confirmation.

”Glad it’s working,” he replied, keeping the flow steady. ”How are you feeling, besides the relaxation? Can you notice any physical difference?”

Isabella stayed quiet for a moment, trying to focus through that comfortable haze of well being that had taken over her.

”It’s hard to tell right now,” she admitted, still with her eyes closed. ”The feeling of relaxation is messing a bit with my ability to assess it accurately. I need to test it after you stop.”

”That makes sense,” Lohan agreed. ”I’ll keep gradually increasing it then, the same way we do in Elysium. Let me know if you feel any pain.”

”Deal,” she murmured.

The minutes passed in silence, with the only sound in the room being Lisa’s calm breathing and the low, almost imperceptible hum of energy flowing between them.

Lohan kept his eyes fixed on her the whole time, both monitoring for any sign of discomfort and, he had to admit to himself, simply enjoying that beautiful, peaceful view.

There was something deeply satisfying about seeing Isabella Vance, normally so composed and formal, completely relaxed like that, trusting him enough to fully surrender to that process without any resistance.

Even though he wasn’t going to receive any payment for it, just getting to watch that beautiful view, one probably no man had ever seen of this girl before, already made the work and the biomass investment worth it.

Just as Isabella had assumed, Lohan really didn’t have much biomass available in the real world.

All the biomass he managed to get came only from digesting food and digesting the nutrients in the surrounding air, which was never all that much.

But even investing that much, he didn’t regret it in the slightest.

Whenever Isabella had the chance to help him, she did it without thinking twice, even if the financial or social cost was quite high.

He figured that pod she’d managed to get for him probably hadn’t been easy to obtain, but even so, just because of a simple mission that had required him to stay connected to the game for a few days, she had done everything she could to get it for him as fast as possible.

And he was very grateful for that.

”Halon,” Lisa suddenly murmured, still with her eyes closed, her voice carrying an almost dreamy tone.

”Yes?”

”Thank you for doing this,” she said, simply. ”Not just for the test itself, but for, I don’t know, caring enough to try these things for me.”

Lohan felt his own chest warm at those words, a feeling he couldn’t fully name in the moment.

”I’ll always try things for you, Lisa.” he replied, his voice coming out more sincere than he planned. ”That’s not going to change.”

Lisa didn’t say anything back, but a small, satisfied smile stayed on her lips as the flow of biomass continued, silently, doing its work.
