Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

The familiar Samsara Square was peaceful as ever.

When the broadcast voice of the Samsara System echoed across the vast space, few even looked up anymore.

Everything here moved with a calm rhythm—some newcomers grinding dungeons, others exchanging points, and only a handful chatting casually.

After all, by now everyone had grown used to it.

Every night without fail, the name ”Shura” flashed across the global ranking boards.

...

”Boss Shura’s at it again! The guy just finished one massive fight and he’s already back clearing another dungeon!”

”The Demon of the Heart, right? I tried that once—almost died on the first stage! The Great God Shura actually cleared it with a super god rating?”

”No surprise there. He’s the one who beat both Uvall and Adam. He’s already recognized as the number one in the world. With power like that, grinding dungeons must be child’s play!”

”Yeah, it’s like a cycle—he’s strong, so he earns high evaluations, and high evaluations make him even stronger. It’s an endless loop of growth!”

”Meanwhile, people like us can barely survive a run. I almost lost my life in my last dungeon.”

”I really envy God Shura...”

”Forget it. You can’t copy that kind of success. He’s in a different league.”

”Still, it’s nice knowing he’s from our C-Area! Once the new large-scale dungeon ’PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ starts, we’ll be set. With God Shura on our side, we’re guaranteed to make it to the end—and we’ll all get a share of the rewards!”

”Haha, you’ve got a point!”

”Same here! I’ve been stuck on Floor 19 forever. I’m just waiting for that big dungeon to open!”

...

A flash of white light illuminated the square.

Fenric’s body reappeared—his injuries, fatigue, and negative status instantly cleared by the Samsara System, restoring him to peak condition.

Then came the mechanical voice of the system prompt:

[Mission Complete: Congratulations, Samsara ’Shura’. Your rewards are as follows:]

• Samsara Points: 65,000

• Physical Attribute: +40 (added)

• Dungeon Cooldown Refresh Card ×1 (stored in personal warehouse)

• Golden Treasure Chest ×1 (stored in personal warehouse)

”...”

Fenric’s expression remained calm as the notifications rolled in.

A Super God (SSS) evaluation—he hadn’t quite expected that.

Especially since this time, he hadn’t relied on any advantage from his knowledge of the plot.

Every victory had been his own doing.

To secure the perfect score, he had risked everything, pushing himself beyond his limits to defeat Surya, who was ultimately taken away by the Evil God, Cthulhu.

That alone had prevented the dark cult Dharma Sect from spreading further across the world.

It was no exaggeration to say that Fenric had eliminated the greatest threat on Earth and temporarily halted the coming invasion.

Receiving a ”Super God” rating for that was only natural.

Still, the rewards didn’t impress him much this time.

”A dungeon cooldown refresh card...?”

He sighed softly.

”That’s practically useless for me.”

For an ordinary Samsara, it was a rare treasure.

For him—it was nothing more than clutter.

...

Fenric opened his personal warehouse.

His AI assistant, Skynet Little Loli, who he’d placed in the real world, wasn’t here.

Instead, his eyes were drawn immediately to the Golden Treasure Chest.

”Hopefully, this one gives me something worthwhile,” he muttered.

With a flick of his hand, he summoned the chest and opened it.

A soft chime sounded from the system.

[Congratulations! You have opened a Golden Treasure Chest and obtained: Special Item – ’Weird Sculpture’.]

Then the detailed description followed:

Weird Sculpture

Creator: Unknown

Contains mysterious energy. Connects to higher-dimensional realms.

When worshipped or prayed to, it can grant unknown abilities.

Warning: Worshiping this item may also cause irreversible negative effects.

System Note: This special item can be recycled for 80,000 Samsara Points.

”...”

Fenric stared at the object in silence.

A small, eerie sculpture rested in the chest—its surface carved with distorted runes that seemed to twist when looked at for too long.

He understood immediately what it was.

”A communication medium... for Cthulhu.”

Worshipping it would undoubtedly grant power—but at a cost.

The same way Surya had fallen, corrupted by the evil god’s promises.

Fenric’s lips curved slightly.

”Unless I lose my mind, I’d never worship this thing.”

He picked up the sculpture. The golden chest vanished instantly into motes of light.

A chill seeped into his fingers.

The material was strange—not wood, not metal—something beyond earthly matter.

Even so, what truly unnerved him was the aura it emitted.

It felt alive—and subtly compelling.

The longer he held it, the more he felt an urge rising within him—a whisper in his mind urging him to kneel, to worship, to submit.

A voice echoed faintly inside his consciousness:

”Offer your devotion... and power will be yours.”

For a split second, Fenric’s hand trembled. His heartbeat quickened.

Then his eyes flashed coldly.

”System—recycle this thing. Now!”

Ding!

[Special Item has been recycled.]

[You have gained 80,000 Samsara Points.]

The sculpture disintegrated into dust and vanished.

Only then did Fenric exhale in relief.

”Too dangerous... even for me.”

Even with his willpower, he had almost succumbed.

No wonder Surya fell so easily.

Cthulhu’s influence was terrifying beyond words.

With Fenric’s current strength, he was still several levels below that being.

Fortunately, the Samsara System had recognized the artifact as hostile—and allowed recycling.

Otherwise, keeping such a cursed item would’ve been a disaster.

...

After the exchange, Fenric checked his stats.

The sculpture’s 80,000 points combined with his mission rewards brought him to 145,000 Samsara Points.

A small smile tugged at his lips.

”Not bad.”

Including his remaining balance from before, he now had 150,000 points total.

He decided to spend them all at once—converting every point into potential energy.

[150,000 Samsara Points converted into 300 Potential Points.]

Without hesitation, Fenric distributed all 300 points across his four core attributes, prioritizing Strength first.

His status panel updated instantly:

...

Fenric’s Strength attribute had finally broken through the 1,000 mark.

The moment it did, he felt something stir deep within his body—

a resonance unlike anything before.

Until now, his strength had been raw—an expression of pure, physical might.

But now, it was refined. Focused. Harmonized.

Every cell, every muscle fiber in his body pulsed with power.

It wasn’t just physical anymore—it was as if he had touched the essence of strength itself.

He clenched his fist.

For the first time, he could feel the law of strength— a deeper understanding that transcended the mortal body.

”So this is what happens when a single attribute breaks a thousand...”

He smiled faintly.

”I’ve stepped into the domain of laws.”
