I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 850 - 850 14.126 Last Violet Star - (Past) Fennu

850 14.126 Last Violet Star – (Past) Fennu

After giving it some thought, Bai Wuan decided to delegate the choice to his most devoted servant out of all of his subordinates in this realm. He turns to look at Zero, who was patiently waiting for orders while standing alongside him in a calm manner like an overqualified steward.

Bai Wuan glanced at his faithful servant, Zero, and said, “What do you think, Lao Hei? Since you gave away your actual identity, it means you like him quite a lot. I’ve already given you the authority of the Underworld. If you want him, then I will accept him.”

Zero lightly glances at Xiao Bai who happens to look up and meet his gaze. Through his eyes, I could see him pleading, and I almost immediately lost my poker mask. Bai Wuan, who had been observing the conversation between the two, smiled broadly. He seems amused by their response.

“M... My Lord... can decide. I am okay with it,” responded Zero.

Chuckles~

When they inquired about their duties in the Underworld, Bai Wuan replied, “Well, more details of your jobs shall be explained when I return to that place. For now, stay together. Register Xiao Bai’s name under my registry and the rest under his registry. The mistake of your subordinates would be your responsibility.”

Bai Wuan used the guidance of a white snowflake that appeared above his palms to inscribe his emblem as the King of Punishment on Xiao Bai’s forehead. In order to control their life and death in the same way as Zero does for his subordinates, he established a connection between Xiao Bai and his people. In the meantime, Xiao Bai’s life was given to Zero.

Zero stuttered in surprise, “M-My lord this is...”

Despite his charming smile, Bai Wuan asked, “I warned you. He is your responsibility. Any complaints?” yet his eyes were serious.

.....

Unconditionally sweating, Zero retorted, “None, My Lord.”

“Good. Stay in contact. I’ll soon finish my trial and ascend. Until then, keep an eye out for signs of Demonic Beings in this realm. When I make the decision to ascend, I’ll open the gates of the underworld for you guys.”

They all bowed their heads and honored Bai Wuan as a group.

“Yes, My lord!”

In just one day, the Xie Clan as a whole was destroyed. The Sect Alliance’s cultivations fared well in this conflict. Lu Yi made the decision to bring back the bodies of those who died bravely in this war for their loved ones. When Bai Wuan came back to the surface, his sweetheart greeted him warmly.

He didn’t appear to struggle in his battle with Xie Gui, that venerable monster.𝐟𝓇ℯe𝒘𝘦𝒃𝑛𝒐ѵe𝙡. 𝑐𝗼𝓂

“Did you capture him?” Bai Wuan inquired as he hugged his lover.

Yun Xiajie handed his beloved the crystal ball and said, “Caught. For you.”

Bai Wuan happily accepted the gift that his lover had gotten for him. He peered into the glass orb and observed Xie Gui’s soul writhing in agony as it was being slowly consumed by Hell flames.

“Should we return home?” questioned Bai Wuan.

The Second Young Master Yun says while nodding his head. “Go home together.”

“Yes, let’s return,” said Bai Wuan.

Now they may return home. The oppressive clan that had surrounded the Sects was ultimately vanquished. The others seemed to agree that peace had finally been established. In the large sects, only a select few elders and those in positions of power are aware of the devil’s existence. To prevent instability in the realm, they have been keeping it secret from the general public. But given that the devil race is renowned for being cunning, will they truly be able to keep it a secret from the others?

—

At the Lan Zhuayun Sect...

A few days have passed since Yun Huaxia and Bai Qiyin safely reached home. The sect is really tense now that Yun Xiajie and Bai Wuan are absent. In the Lan Zhuayun Sect, practically everyone felt uneasy about the Devil’s very presence.

“You heard about the devil right?”

“Yes. They say it was hidden and imprisoned at the main peak. Do you think it’s real?”

“We can’t even check ourselves. The Main Peak is where the Sect Master and the Great Elder live. Do you want to get punished?”

“You mean the punishment for breaking the Sect Rules? That’s whipping right?”

“Yea... I heard it’s extremely painful.”

“Okay. Let’s forget about the devil nonsense, not knowing whether it exists or not. I’m more worried about Junior Brother Jieye and Junior Brother Wuan. Do you think they’ve won against that old monster?”

“Of course! Young Lord Lu Tian and Young Master Jin Shilu joined them. They should be fine.”

“But isn’t that old monster a Nascent Soul Cultivator? Our Sect Master is only at the Golden Core stage.”

“But I heard Junior Brother Jieye had become Nascent Soul himself?”

“For real!? Isn’t he so young?”

“Rumors say Junior Brother Wuan is on the same level as well. The beloved sons of heavens are really amazing ha...”

“Yes, they were different from us even the moment they were born. I’m still at the 8th Establishment Foundation Stage. I wonder when I can build my Golden Core.”

“You are already at 8th while I’m still at 6th. You need three more levels to reach Golden core and you’re still complaining.”

“But Junior Brother Jieye and Junior Brother Wuan were younger than us but they are even stronger than Senior Brother Huaye.”

“Well... Forget about those two. They are different from us. But we can at least reach the same strength as Senior Brother Huaye right?”

“Un. I just felt bad that his future Dao Companion’s cultivation was abolished by that evil Clan of Xie. Young Master Bai is quite talented himself and was already at Peak Establishment Foundation before he was crippled.”

“Shut up! Don’t let Senior Brother Huaye hear you. You’ll get beat up.”

“...I-I know. I won’t say anything anymore.”

“But can an abolished cultivation be treated?”

“I heard Junior Brother Wuan can. That’s why they are waiting for them to come back.”

“I hope they come back soon.”

“I just hope they are safe.”

This kind of discourse was prevalent throughout the Sect. Since they returned and informed their elders of the vows they had exchanged, Bai Qiyin had been residing in his Dao Companion’s courtyard. When the Great Elder learned about this, Yun Huaxia received hours of reprimands, and their Dai Ceremony was rescheduled. It was planned to be held on the same day as the Dao Ceremony for Jin Shiyan and Bai Lili.

Bai Qiyin first resisted nodding in agreement. He does not desire to marry before his older brother. Unfortunately, he and Yun Huaxia had already taken the oath. To receive an acknowledgment from the Heavenly Laws, they required a formal Dao Ceremony; otherwise, their Dao Companionship wouldn’t be recognized at all. Bai Lili made every effort to persuade her second elder brother. Only after learning that his younger sister had obtained their elder brother’s blessing for the event did Bai Qiyin grudgingly acquiesce.

Currently, Yun Huaxia was busy getting ready for his and Jin Shiyan’s Dao Ceremony. He is assisting Bai Lili in organizing the wedding, and since two couples will be attending, everything that has to be prepared will be doubled. Yun Huaxia is thus busier than a diligent ant. He had to work on his own Dao Ceremony while resolving issues in the sect.

In order to protect the Main Peak, which contains the Devil’s prison, his father and other elders were unable to assist him in any way. They couldn’t allow anyone to enter that courtyard out of concern that the devil would escape while Bai Wuan was away. If it occurs, this devil would annihilate the entire sect.

Up until the day Yun Huaxia and Bai Qiyin announced their Dao Ceremony, everything was well. While the majority of the disciples rejoiced at the news, there was one person in the gathering who was devastated by it. When Jin Baihua learned that his one-sided love target had plans to be married, he was surprised. Jin Baihua was a guest staying at the sect.

“Senior Brother Yun, you... Are you really choosing Bai Yin as your dao companion?” Jin Baihua questioned Yun Huaxia, who was approaching him bewildered and stunned.

Yun Huaxia said, “Yes,” without pausing to ponder.

“Why? His clan was destroyed, his cultivation was destroyed, and he no longer possessed anything deserving of you!” Jin Baihua questioned.

Yun Huaxia responded, “I chose him because I love Yin’er. This is more than enough reason for me to do so.”

“But I..!”

“Don’t say it, because I don’t want to embarrass you or reject you in front of everyone. Jin Huayu, I will only love Yin’er in this life. The rest is irrelevant.”

Yun Huaxia’s implied rejection of Jin Baihua caused him to leave that location. He is left with no choice but to go back to his room and sob bitterly.

Even though everyone was aware that Bai Qiyin had his cultivation abolished, Yun Huaxia nevertheless chose him to be his Dao Companion. Bai Qiyin made Jin Baihua feel incredibly envious. He struggled to understand how someone like Bai Qiyin was able to have things that he was unable to have.

Bai Qiyin is a direct descendant of one of the great sects, the Bai Lengshui Sect. No one could dispute the power the Bai Lengshui Sect once wielded, despite the sect being exclusive and dissolved. Furthermore, Bai Wuan, this Ice demon, could easily construct it from scratch. Some of the disciples who were compelled to leave the disaster weren’t your average cultivators. Jin Baihua has witnessed people safeguarding the Bai descendants from everyone and everything. The majority of them had reached Peak Establishment Foundation Stage, and some had even reached Peak Golden Core.

Despite having fewer members, they may nevertheless compete with the other major sects in strength. The Bai Lengshui Sect can be revitalized once they begin enlisting new disciples. The Northern Lands have many gifted younger generations. It won’t be long before the Bai Lengshui Sect is rebuilt.

Furthermore, the Bai Lengshui Sect may keep its status as a Great Sect with merely Bai Wuan. His strength is the strongest among his generation and his chosen Dao Companion happens to be the Second Young Master of the Lan Zhuayun Sect. His generation’s strongest individual, the Second Young Master of the Lan Zhuayun Sect, is his chosen Dao Companion. With this, the Lan Zhuayun Sect would unquestionably support them. Additionally, the Heir of the Jin Tiangui Sect would shortly be married to the Bai Clan’s sole princess. Jin Baihua couldn’t understand why Sect Master Jin would marry his cherished heir to a woman with no formal qualifications and family background, yet his father was still eager to do it. However, it was more than enough for the others to accept this predicament merely by thinking about Bai Wuan.

Bai Qiyin was raised in a distinguished household. He also has a very strong sibling who adores him dearly. Even if his cultivation talent is just mediocre now, he won’t have any resource issues because his elder brother will provide him with whatever he needs. Even better, he now has a man who adores him despite his past or his physical prowess. A young, good-hearted man who is prepared to swear an oath to the gods in order to show them that his love for him is sincere.

Although Bai Qiyin’s skill for cultivation is less than Jin Baihua, but unlike the former, he has a family that views him as a servant rather than as a family. Additionally, he doesn’t have a loving brother. Even though he had several half-brothers and half-sisters, none of them loved him as Bai Wuan does Bai Qiyin. Then, when he did find someone to love, that person was never noticed by him as he wasn’t the man who had captured his heart but Bai Qiyin instead.

Jin Baihua’s wrath will erupt at the sight of just this. He had always questioned why the world had always treated him unfairly. He barricaded himself in the lodging the Lan Zhuayun Sect had provided for him. While his heart was filled with resentment and hatred for everything, he was sobbing uncontrollably in his room. He could not stand to hear another word about the Yun Huaxia’s Dao Ceremony, whom he insidiously adores.

He loathed his family. Jin Shiyan, his sibling. He resented Yun Huaxia for failing to recognize his feelings. He despised the unfairness of the world. He detested everything about his life, even his fate.

Suddenly, there emerges a beguiling whisper, hearing a voice lingering in his ears for a little moment.

{Do you despise that man who is incapable of loving you at all? Do you hate this world for having abandoned you? Do you hate your clan for reviling you?}

{You may have everything you desire from me, but in return, your body and soul will belong to me once you pass away.}

{What about signing a devil’s contract with this Fennu?}

The Devil of Wrath, Fennu. He is one of the powerful devils from the Infernal region and governs over all the abominations in the three realms.
