Help all mankind

Chapter 26
When they came to the special equipment research institute the next day, Su Ping himself had been waiting at the door for a long time. When they arrived at Su Ping’s office, Su Ping took out a box from the drawer containing a large piece of flat glass, nearly half a meter wide, and handed it to Liang Shicheng.

Su Ping briefly introduced that recently, there was a mysterious bidding competition for parts of the new aircraft project. Originally, his own research institute undertook the of cockpit glass, but he knew that the bidding was for the whole country. There were still a lot of military personnel in institutions like them, so he insisted on participating, but he didn’t expect to win.

However, after seeing Liang Shicheng’s products yesterday, the Institute temporarily approved the change plan to allow private enterprises to participate in the competition instead of them. This is the opportunity Su Ping won for Liang Shicheng, but the time is not waiting, and it is not far from the deadline for reporting.

The bidding test has unified specifications. Liang Shicheng needs to make a glass of the same size and appearance as the box just handed to him in the near future.

After Liang Shicheng left, Su Ping’s staff went to the office and asked about the incident,

”Mr. Su, how to deal with those hydraulic presses? Someone pays for them, but no one pays for them?”

Su Ping said with a wry smile:

”Don’t worry. When the people above break the hydraulic press, we can apply for financial reimbursement.”

When Liang Shicheng brought back the sample from the Research Institute, he hurried back to the laboratory and told Wang Kai about the matter, but he shook his head when he saw something, saying that it was impossible to make such a large piece of super glass at present. The current polarization process needs to use ultra-high voltage, and it is also necessary to ensure that the same unit area passes through a sufficient amount of current for a short time, This means that the larger the super glass, the higher the discharge coefficient, or instantaneous power, of the required equipment.

Such a good opportunity can’t be given up easily. Liang Shicheng decided to change the requirements. The length and width should be consistent, but the thickness should be thinner and more stacked.

A few days later, Wang Kai finished the task, and Liang Shicheng took more than ten pieces of super glass plates, found a local factory to make laminated glass, and glued them together with glue.

Finally, the day before the deadline for reporting, he handed the things to Su Ping.

As like as two peas, a few days later, a secret glass with a slightly different color was sent to the secret base near the provincial capital city.

Pasted with bar code stickers, marked with codes, and sent to the shooting range one after another.

The shooting range is set in a huge warehouse with a banner on one wall to help the sixth generation fighter project.

Before the test, a group of people crowded on the glass table. They were technicians from different departments after special permission and application.

Most of them are from the state’s cutting-edge material research institutions. There are also spies sent by the R & D Department of some special weapons, and the rest are staff sent by various units participating in the competition.

This group of people have similar views on the research direction of current technology. The champion of this competition has long had a candidate in their mind. It is 502 Research Institute specializing in tempered glass, and the director of the Institute was present in person, which shows that they are determined to win, and most of the participants also know this.

The purpose of the whole competition is only to implement the comprehensive competition policy issued by the superior.

They reviewed each piece of glass in turn, and others did not dare to speak casually. Only the director of 502 Research Institute introduced the glass of other contestants to the public with a condescending attitude. What are the shortcomings and what is worth improving.

The director of institute 502 is holding a seemingly ordinary small laser lamp in his hand. He only needs to irradiate along several angles and tap the sample gently. He can comment on the products endlessly. He has rich experience. In the eyes of ordinary people, a kind of red can be divided into more than ten kinds by him.

Everyone listens with an open mind. In fact, this is the biggest purpose of this competition for other participants. The director of institute 502 thinks that his technology is a large part ahead of his peers, so he is happy to give some guidance to his peers. Of course, this is only possible for state-owned units.

But when he saw the product that Liang Shicheng took out in a hurry, the director was speechless for a while. Looking at the glass, he felt a strange feeling.

There is only one development direction of advanced tempered glass, with chemical treatment on the surface and anti burst polymer fiber filled inside.

In this regard, 502 institutes have studied pure love like fire. Other units also follow this direction and learn to walk in Handan. The things they make are basically old products that their director contacted every day many years ago.

However, Liang Shicheng’s glass was too ordinary at a glance. The director of institute 502 didn’t know how to give it advice, but he was stunned immediately after knocking.

okay? This uses laminated glass, which is an ordinary civil scheme to prevent self explosion caused by glass quality.

Others at the scene also saw that they gave sympathetic eyes to the representatives sent by Su Ping’s Institute.

The director shook his head reluctantly, then took out his lighter, burned it in one direction of the glass, and began to teach him:

”Whose stuff is this? The glue used for this glass is unqualified! You’ve been cheated. Let the director know who supplied the goods and who to settle the accounts with.

Don’t try. I dare say there will be something wrong with the glue later. ”

At the beginning of the shooting test, all the glass was clamped on the large vise. With the gunfire of large caliber fighter guns, they cracked one after another. The glass of institute 502 really deserved its reputation. Although it was shot through, it still remained motionless on the vise. The glass fragments at the wound maintained the state of broken coupling and wire connection, and the hole above was also the smallest.

Finally, it was Liang Shicheng’s turn. After one shot, there was only an explosion, and there was nothing left on the vise. There was a crackling noise in the workshop, and the people were scared to lie down,

”Which company provides this product? It’s making a fuss about human life.”

The game seemed to have been decided, but after a while, a technician found that he didn’t find the broken slag of the last piece of glass when cleaning the site. He just found some thinner large pieces of glass one after another. The length and width of the size and parameter standard remained the same, but the thickness was much thinner.

When the technician sent a stack of ultra-thin super glass to the organizer, a man in a black suit who had not spoken behind the scenes stood up and asked the organizer to stop the test, directly announced the winner of 502 and took away all the super glass.

Then he returned to an obscure car and reported the situation to another person in the car.

”It seems that the theoretical glass has been developed by other units in advance.

In addition, inform the skunk and tell her that the instrument she developed before that can cut anything seems to be of use. ”

PS is going to speed up the pace of writing other technologies.
