Chapter 1318: Forbidden level Monster?

From MCʼs Perspective:

”Did you improve your Gravity Rule?”

Lord Sharon Leeʼs voice sounded.

Hearing that, I closed the panel before looking at her.

”Yes, my lord. The new mana environment gave me inspiration,” I replied.

”I have some improvements as well,” Palma Wondersʼ voice sounded this time.

”Good, we still have a long way to go before reaching Mage City. You will encounter a similar new mana environment in the coming days.”

”Be sure to utilize the opportunity,” Sharon Lee advised.

Hearing that, both of us nodded to her. But my heart raced. I need only 2% Gravity Rule Power understanding before it touches 40%.

Once it does, I can increase the attributes as well.

It wonʼt be long before I become a Level-8 Wizard as well.

...

True Elements Society:

As each day passes, the tension of Paul Lin and Stella increases. They have yet to find out Vincent Careyʼs whereabouts.

Head Howard has learned that Paul Lin and Stella are finding it hard to search. At this point, he has come to understand that the kid has left their territory.

He doesnʼt know how to react. He doesnʼt know whether the kid left on his own due to the threat faced by the Perry Family and others earlier.

He canʼt really blame Vincent Carey if he left on his own accord. Itʼs just that he doesnʼt know how to respond to the Mage Union.

Because Vincent Carey is not an ordinary wizard. He is a Wizard Seed with Gravity Magic. It was rated as Sub-Taboo Grade by the Mage Union.

The Sub-Taboo Grade Wizards are not easy to find. If Vincent Carey had been born into major forces, he would have been showered with expensive magic resources.

Howard began to regret it. His careless attitude toward the obvious schemes of the Aristocratic Faction was a mistake.

The mistake had caused Vincent Carey to leave. He just hopes they can find his whereabouts before the Mage Union learns about it.

Meanwhile,

The various forces in the Ancient Redwood Country were shocked by the True Elements Societyʼs reversal.

Everyone had expected the old wizard organization to be ruined. But their last-minute reversal had shocked everyone.

Including those who had wanted to act against Jeremy Night were terrified. Itʼs not easy to kill a Magic Lord, let alone 3 Magic Lords.

All the forces had changed their attitude towards the True Elements Society, a Wizard Organization that has a trump card to kill a Magic Lord powerhouse.

...

Days passed,

The aircraft coursed through the sky at breakneck speed.

At this point, Sharon Leeʼs aircraft had crossed different regions. The mana environment is getting better and better.

Sharon Lee saw both Palma Wonders and Vincent Carey improving at a faster rate whenever they entered a new region.

They both experienced a sudden influx of mana. Sharon Lee has been observing Vincent Carey from the beginning.

She found that the kidʼs understanding of the Gravity Rule is getting better and better. She thinks it wonʼt be long before the kid reaches Level-8.

Level-8 Magic Wizards at his age are considered talented in Mage City. She thinks Vincent wonʼt find it hard to adapt to a new place.

But when she tried to probe Vincent Carey further, her senses were blocked.

She frowned. This was not the first time she was doing this probing. She has been doing this for a couple of days. Yet every time she has failed.

She has even suspected that Vincent Carey is carrying some powerful magic artifact. But as a Forbidden Wizard, there arenʼt many magic treasures that attract her eyes.

But right now, she feels curious. Once this kid awakens, she will ask him.

[Ding! Warning]

[Forbidden Wizardʼs probing was blocked.]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. But I ignored it and continued to understand the mysteries of forbidden inheritance hidden inside the bone runes.

Palma Wonders was immersed in her own magic understanding as well.

Time passed,

When it was night time, the aircraft entered another hostile region. But compared to other advanced countries,

This place was a barren desert. Compared to other regions, the mana environment is different as well. Only Earth-related Mana can be found largely inside the environment.

”Hmmm,” I opened my eyes abruptly.

I found it hard to attract the Gravity Mana.

”What happened?”

”I couldnʼt attract mana,” Palma Wondersʼ voice sounded as well.

”Calm down!”

”We have entered the Desert Viper region,” Sharon Lee said in a solemn tone.

My heart raced. For the first time, I found her voice to be serious.

Sharon Lee slowed down the aircraftʼs speed for the first time after leaving the Ancient Redwood Country.

She also dimmed the lights.

”The aircraft wonʼt be able to attract unwanted eyes,” Sharon Lee said with a sigh.

”Master, what happened?” Palma Wonders asked.

”This Desert Viper Region is actually a living place for Forbidden Level Monsters,” Sharon Lee said.

”Forbidden level Monsters?” Palma Wonders exclaimed.

I broke out into a cold sweat the next second. I thought with Lord Sharonʼs presence we could walk sideways.

But I didnʼt expect to enter the region of the Forbidden Monsters.

”Donʼt panic. This desert region is vast. Monster canʼt find us easily,” Sharon Lee reassured them.

”Master, what if the monster attacks us?” Palma Wonders raised the question.

Sharon Lee frowned. The Forbidden Level Monsters are usually stronger. But they were not like human-like Wizards to be active all day.

”Donʼt worry, we can still escape,” she added.

As time passed, I started to watch the passing scenes. Under the dim light, I could only see the red desert and sand dunes.

If I continued to look at it, I might get affected by the tense situation here. So I closed my eyes.

The aircraft continued flying across the desert region. Palma Wonders was unable to sleep.

She was beside her Master Sharon.

2 days later,

The aircraft finally left the Desert Viper region.

Sharon Lee sighed in relief. In order to reach the Magic City, they had to cross certain dangerous places.

One of them was the Desert Viper Region.

”Regular Mana is back,” I said with a smile.

Then I closed my eyes and started to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method. In the blink of an eye, a rich influx of Gravity Mana entered my body.

At the same time, a flash of inspiration came to mind. I found that while understanding the Forbidden Inheritance, it helps me with the Gravity Rule as well.

Time passed in the blink of an eye.

After a few weeks of travel, my Gravity Rule was about to touch 40%. The gravity sacred core continued to absorb the Gravity Mana particles.

The golden runes in the sacred core space were getting richer as well. As time passed, more and more golden runes appeared.

Click!

Suddenly, a change occurred.

The pebble-sized core cracked. The next second, a white, gold, and gray mixed core appeared. It started to frantically absorb the Gravity Mana.

Outside,

Sharon Lee and Palma Wonders both saw changes in Vincent Carey. Gray mana particles from the surroundings were getting sucked into Vincent Careyʼs body like a black hole.

”This kidʼs Rule Power understanding has reached a limit,” Sharon Lee muttered.

She was familiar with this phenomenon. It usually happens when a Wizardʼs Rule Power understanding reaches the next level.

If a Wizardʼs strength reaches the limit, then he can attempt a breakthrough.

Palma Wonders nodded her head as well because she had experienced Rule Power understanding before.

While they were inside the aircraft, the phenomenon attracted the attention of the evil monsters in the sky as well.

They are currently flying across a forest region. All kinds of higher-order monsters live here. Whenever an aircraft or airship passes through this region,

They were often targeted by monsters living here. The monsters had hunted and killed Wizards before.

Because of this, rarely do Wizards fly past this region. Sharon Lee was confident in her strength as well. But this sudden phenomenon caught her off guard.

Roar!

Outside, 8th and 9th order Monsters spotted the attractive aircraft. They rushed towards the aircraft to attack.

Sharon Lee activated the function of the Magic Gun.

Outside,

The Magic Gun appeared. It was getting charged in the blink of an eye. When the 8th Order Bird Falcon Monster tried to attack the aircraft with its beak,

Boom!

From the nozzle, a blue magic beam shot at the monster. The blue beam traveled in a straight line before piercing through the monsterʼs body.

Puchak!

The monsterʼs body exploded into pieces. The mana power released by the beam startled the other monsters.

Before all the monsters had a chance to reach the aircraft, they were frantically fleeing upon sensing the danger from the Magic Gun.

Sharon Lee snorted before targeting the monsters one by one.

Boom!

One after another, the magic beams were shot at the fleeing monsters.

Puchak!

One after another, the monsters exploded into pieces. In the blink of an eye, the whole place became quiet.

There were no monsters in the sky. The sound of the magic beams had terrified other monsters.
